White's Estate
Find the boathouse
Before beginning your Bond adventure, you may care to invert the y-axis, so pressing down on the control stick forces you to look up and pressing up on the control stick forces you to look down. I prefer it this way. If you do, too, enter your Pause Menu > Controls > Look Inversion. While there, give the button layout a look.Back in the game. Move forward and you'll see the button prompt "Take Cover" ("A" on the Xbox 360). Hit the button to take cover behind the tree. From this position, you can aim your weapon simply by moving the right control stick. When the reticle turns red, you have a shot. Take it (pull "RT" on the X360). For more precise aiming, hold the "Aim" button ("LT" on X360), but, note, doing so will put you in harm's way as long as you're holding "Aim". In other words, cover will not protect you from damage while holding the "Aim" button, which is why it's sometimes best to make use of the more imprecise method of aiming.
From this position you should be able to take out the three to four men in the area below. Break from the cover (simply move your control stick), and you'll see something at the bottom of the screen that says "Dash - Cover". This will appear anytime cover is in front of you. Hold the "Cover" button to automatically dash and take cover. Collect the SAF .45. Switch to the automatic weapon, if you care to do so, by hitting your "Switch Weapons" button ("LB" on the Xbox 360). I stayed with my Silenced P99 (hit the "Silence" button to silence this weapon..."down" on the d-pad on the X360).
From this position, you should be able to clear out any remaining men in the garden ahead. Look out for those who may come streaming up the stairs from below, although they should stay in place until you get closer.
When the three to four men in the lower area have been cleared, step away from cover and crouch ("B" on the Xbox 360). When moving in a crouched position, you move silently, so that's how we're going to move through the game. Move over each of the three men to pick up their weapons and/or ammo. Carefully approach the lower garden as two or three more men will appear. Pop them.
Remain crouched and move to the back right corner of the garden. Here you'll spot a gate with a flashing control panel next to it. Follow the on screen prompt to initiate the unlocking of the gate (hold "X" on the X360). Once you're inside the control panel, wait for the arrows to light up. If the arrow points up, move your left control stick up. If it points down, move your left control stick down. If it points left, move left, if it points right, move right. Once you've pushed your control stick accurately four times, the gate will open up. Step forward then step back. This will prevent the men in the boats below from hitting you. When they pass, move down the stairs.
Checkpoint.
Take out the man at the bottom of the stairs (either shoot him or "take him down" as the game suggests by clicking the right control stick then following the button prompts), then take cover at the wall next to the dock. Here is an example of when you should not use your "Aim" button. If you do, and if you're playing at the hardest 007 level, you're sure to get shot, and you're nearly sure to be killed. So, simply move your reticle over one of the two flashing tanks behind the men who are shooting at you (one is far left, the other is near the middle). When the reticle turns red over one of the flashing tanks, take a shot (or ten). Accurate hits will cause an explosion, thus toasting several of the men at once.
After the explosion, look to the glass door to your left. Move left as an enemy will be coming down the stairs. Wait for him to appear and take him out.
Hack into the Security System
Enter the building and move to the security center in the back right corner. Face the control panel and follow the on-screen prompt to patch into the cameras (hold "X" on the Xbox 360 until the circle is fully lit green), thus hacking the security system. Go ahead and view the different cameras by scrolling cameras (up and down on the D-pad on the 360), then go ahead and check the objectives and data. You can now do this any time by hitting the "Phone" button ("Back"/"Select").
Checkpoint.
Find the Large Greenhouse
Remain crouched and exit via the door to the left of the security system. Move up the stairs and you'll hear some commotion. Don't worry about it. Simply approach the greenhouse and take cover at the entrance. Pop in and pop out to trigger some shots in your direction, then carefully enter and move across the greenhouse by taking cover on the left side. At the exit you'll spot a helicopter. Shoot the man inside it and it will fly away.
Exit the greenhouse and note the flashing object on the railing across the way. Stand above it and follow the prompt to "Pick up Cell Phone" (Hold "X" on the X360). Do so. This is Data File 02 (you were automatically given Data File 01 at the beginning). Nice.
Crouch and move up the path. You'll spot a man ahead (or he'll spot you and shoot). Take him out, then continue forward in your crouched position (the game will tell you to charge him, but you'll be more effective if you just shoot him.
Ahead is the Large Greenhouse, occupied by many, many men. Go ahead and run to the base of the stairs (while crouched) and take cover. Men will be shooting you from inside. You won't be able to hit them from this position, so you're going to have to charge up the stairs. Before going, make sure you have an automatic weapon equipped.
Run up the stairs and take cover behind the table inside the Large Greenhouse.
Eliminate White's Security Team
At the back of the Greenhouse are two white tanks. Shoot the left one until it blows, thus taking out a few men. The second tank is flammable, but it takes a lot of ammo to blow, so I suggest leaving it alone. Instead, begin to pick off the men inside from the comfort of your cover position. Remember, don't use your "Aim" button, or you'll be vulnerable. Also, keep an eye to your right, as a few men will appear who can damage you from your cover position. Take them out as soon as you see them.
Find a Way into the House
Exit the greenhouse at the far end and make your way up the stairs. At the fountain, move left so you can take the central path up to the house. On the way you will pass a table with a couple of chairs. On that table is a Cell Phone (Data File 03).
Once you reach the mansion, move right. Take cover at the corner, then pop the guy on the balcony. Move down the open hatch, into the basement. Don't miss the Cell Phone (Data File 04) along the way.
Checkpoint.
Find the Service Entrance
Quietly make your way down the hall (you may care to Silence your P99) and take out those waiting for you in the barrel room at the end. Note, along the way you'll spot a yellow crate in a well lit alcove. Open it to reveal the Hutchinson A3 - SPECIAL WEAPON, a shotgun. Take it if you want it (I did), but be aware that it will replace your SAF .45.
Return to the barrel room and take cover behind the wine shelf in the back left corner to take out the two thugs who run down the stairs. Shoot them, then make your way up the stairs and eliminate the man waiting for you at the top. Grab the Cell Phone (Data File 05).
Move up the next set of stairs.
Locate Mr. White's Safe
Take cover at the top and pop the two men who enter the kitchen. Move into the next room and take cover behind the right pillar. Shoot the man up on the balcony, then switch cover to the right (push your control stick right then hit the indicated "switch" button). Take out the man on the stairs. Collect the Cell Phone (Data File 06) from the table at the base of the stairs.
Head up the next two sets of stairs, so you're on the third floor, and move right. Take out the man in the hall. Enter the room at the end, and access the open control panel to open the Secret Door.
Download the Quantum Database
Enter the secret room and stand in front of the tv monitors until you get the prompt to "Hack into White's computer". Do just this, and chaos will ensue.
Checkpoint.
Defend yourself
Quickly back away from the computers, as they are quick to explode. The goal now is to make it out of the house alive. Don't worry about shooting enemies (yet) as they're trying to escape, too. And, those who shoot at you will die in various explosions, if you simply wait it out.
So, exit the room via the hole in the wall (make sure you're crouched). Look out for the man in front of you, as he'll shoot at you, then be killed in a blast. Move around the hole in the floor, then turn the corner and take cover. Someone will be shooting at you from below, across the way. Wait for an explosion and he'll be taken out. Move down the first set of stairs, then begin to work your way down the second. The front door will blow up. Take cover as enemies will enter, then be taken out by a blast. Move to the bottom of the stairs, then through the door to the right.
Checkpoint.
Locate the Helicopter Landing Pad
Quickly run forward, then move through the doors that blow up to your left. Quickly take cover behind one of the planters and eliminate the masked men who appear at the opposite end of the room. Once they're toast, move outside.
Carefully head up the stairs.
Shoot Down the Helicopter
Once you near the top and spot the helicopter, shoot it with your SAF .45 until it blows. Note, don't shoot it from the top, as the man guarding the helipad will take you down as you're shooting the chopper.
