Area 51 is a solid first person shooter. It is a challenging game where the first 3/4 is basic run and shoot, while the last 1/4 deals more with bosses and a marathon run of shooting and surviving. The graphics are wonderful, the storyline is good, the voice acting is great, weapons are what you'd expect, and you have the innovative, if useless, ability to transform into a Mutant, whereupon you can melee your way through the game.
Area 51 is definitely in my top 5 of sci-fi first person shooters. If you like games like Halo and Deus Ex, you'll be right at home in Area 51. Just watch out for those Grays.
