Welcome to Lunabean's "Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds" Walkthough. It will help you get through the single player portion of the game. Also, all secrets are mentioned in this walkthrough, and collecting all secrets in a level will help get you a higher rating. If you get the highest rating in every level, the "Slayer" rating, you will unlock all of the "extras", which include many characters and many maps for multiplayer mode. The other two factors in determining your rating are the number of monsters killed, and the number of continues used. All of the numbers have different weights, so it's impossible to tell you what your exact goals are to get the "Slayer" rating, but know the Secrets are weighted most heavily, followed by the number of monsters killed, followed by number of continues used.

This guide does not tell you how to fight every monster that comes your way. You have a Slayer Handbook in your inventory which will tell you how to do some pretty cool moves. However, more often than not, you don't have time to think about it, and you'll find yourself just button mashing. Find which moves work best for you, then use them.
The PS2, Xbox and GameCube versions of this game are virtually identical. So close that they share one walkthrough. This walkthrough was based on playing the PS2 version of the game, but I have done plenty of research on differences between the games, and all anyone has come up with is that the Xbox version is prettiest, but Willow's spells are hard to pull off. The PS2 version is the most comfortable, but suffers from some jagged edges and slow downs. The GCN version of the game is just fine. All are aesthetics, but no one has come up with in-game differences. If you find any, please let us know.
Finally, because this guide was written for all three versions of the game, controls aren't specific. We refer to the buttons as "Use", "Kick", "Hit", "Block", and so on. This way you can figure out what these buttons are based on your controls. Now that we have all of that cleared up, let's start kicking some vampire butt!
