Cold Fear Introduction

Welcome to Lunabean's Cold Fear Walkthrough and Strategy Guide. This guide will get you through the Xbox, PS2 and PC versions of the game. The only difference between the three versions is controls. It is for this reason that, in reading this guide, you'll see we refer to button actions instead of button names. To find out which actions are associated with which buttons, go "Settings" > "Control Options" > "Control Configuration". Here you will discover what it is your buttons do.

This guide was written while playing through on "Normal" difficulty. An increase in difficulty in Cold Fear increases damage you take, decreases damage enemies take, and decreases available ammo. The game, itself, changes in no way. To unlock the "Extreme" difficulty, you must complete the game while playing the "Hard" difficulty.

Cold Fear is a fairly straightforward game in gameplay. You shoot what's in front of you. Health Packs and Ammo are all around (on the ground or on enemies). The trick to this game is to figure out where you're going, which is why we wrote a detailed walkthrough for you. Specifics, such as how to kill certain enemies or how to use certain tactics, come as we walk you through the game.
