From your entrance (facing the mansion), head right. You'll find a locked door. Move around to the backside of the small building and find the window. Follow the on-screen prompts to climb through the window, then take down the monk who enters the shed with you. When he's out, approach the combination lock on the shelf and turn the numbers so they read 1-3-2-1-3-4 (13, 21, 34 continue the Fibonacci Sequence). Collect the Mansion Key from the box.
Exit out the door and enter the open dog cage to your left. Note the empty food dishes. Exit and move to the boarded up door to the left. Break through it following the on-screen prompts. Once inside, open up the Dog Food Locker in the corner and collect the Dog Food. Return to the dog cage and "Use" the Food on one of the dog dishes. Next, locate the Bell Pull Chain (under the archway, near the boarded door), and pull it to call the dogs.
With the dogs distracted by their food, you can cross the bridge. However, before you do, find the Da Vinci Bridge Winch to the right of it and follow the on-screen prompt to turn it (note, this is an oddly sensitive Winch...just keep trying and keep in line with what the prompt is telling you and you'll eventually get it). Follow the dogs to the other side of the bridge, then use the Mansion Key to open the Side Entrance to Mansion door. Checkpoint.
Insert the Priory Ring into the keyhole of the door at the top of the stairs and enter the bedroom. Examine the Note in the top drawer of the bureau. This note provides the clues necessary to decipher the order you should turn the discs, based on the panels above each goddess. Before running back down to the Fire Place, continue to explore the bureau. Collect the Large Bandage from one drawer, and note the drawer in the bottom left corner. Insert the Priory Ring into the hole to open it up. (Note, to get the Priory Ring to work, you can't be zoomed in on the drawer, you have to simply highlight the drawer as you would any other drawer, then "Use" the ring while in this position. If the drawer tells you that there's a Fleur-de-lys on it, you're zoomed in too far). Collect the Vulcan Statue from inside. When that's done, return to the the Fire Place and turn the first Fleur-de-lys disc south, the second east, the third north, and the fourth west. This will reveal the Venus Statue. Collect it.
Next, grab the Cupid Statue from the mirror table in the Parlor, then return to the bedroom atop the staircase. Move through the room then examine the bookcase to your right. This will update your Visual Database. Continue to move down the bookcase, updating your Visual Database as you go.
With your Database full of new and exciting information, move to the other side of the balcony and open the box on the table. Collect the Jupiter Statue from inside. Next, read the note next to the box. It will provide you with a clue, then a Substitution Cipher. The solution to the Substitution Cipher is, "JUPITER IS ABOVE VULCAN AENEAS IS BELOW MARS MARS IS TO VULCANS RIGHT".
With the puzzle solved, move down the spiral staircase and fight the monk. When he's down, examine the items on his table. Examine the object on the far left to reveal the Mars Statue. Collect it then exit out either of the two doorways. You'll find yourself in familiar territory.
Head to the main staircase (opposite your original entrance) and move up it. Pass through the door at the top and enter the Statue Pedestal Room. Approach the Statue Pedestal and "Use" all of your collected Statues, so they're all sitting on the Pedestal. Once all six statues are placed, you'll get an overhead shot of the Pedestal Puzzle. Use the solved Substitution Cipher to figure out this puzzle. Venus is in the center, Mars is east, Vulcan is west, Jupiter is north, Aeneas is SE, Cupid is SW. When they're all placed, turn each statue so it faces Venus. Upon solving the puzzle you'll be tossed into the Mansion's Garden Maze.
Ahead of you is a garden maze, which really isn't much of a maze at all. Enter the maze and you'll discover a Venus statue in the center, along with five paths that move away from the center, each one leading to a different Rotating Statue. Your goal is to rotate each of the Rotating Statues until the game tells you its facing the correct position. Avoid and/or knock out guards as you move through the maze (the Wall Ambush is quite effective against the guards), and rotate the five statues into position. When each of the statues is facing the Venus statue, the Venus statue will rise up, revealing the entrance to the Grotto. Move through it. Checkpoint.

The key to solving this puzzle is make it so two lit sconces are next to one another, without having any other lit sconces in the puzzle. Once you get this to happen, all you must do is light the sconce opposite them (so the two lit sconces go out), then relight the two. However, getting to the point where two sconces are lit side by side is trick in and of itself. Here's how I solved it, from the beginning. And, please note, if you need to restart the puzzle from the beginning, simply save your game and reload it. You'll have to turn the garden statues again, but, for some, this will be worth it.
With your back to the Grotto entrance, there are five sconces in front of you. Light the sconces in this order to solve the puzzle: Top, Upper-Right, Bottom-Left, Top (at this point the two torches will be lit next to each other), Bottom-Right, Top, Upper-Left. Puzzle solved. Level complete.
