Learn about the Grail

Enter the Arthurian Legend room in front of you, will present you with your first puzzle: Match up the shields with the paintings, and place the shields on the knight next to the paintings. Teabing will tell you about each of the six shields as you examine them. Place Gallahad's Shield (the one with the large red cross) on the knight next to the painting with the angels, then place Percival's Shield (large red heart) on the knight next to the painting of the lone man and his horse. This will open up the Dining Room and the Study. Enter the Dining Room.

Examine the note on the bookcase. It provides you with a Biblical reference: Solomon's Songs, Verse 14, Line 4, Word 3. Next, note the many chalices lined up on the shelf, and a security door that asks for a password. Collect the Red Dragon Chalice and carry it to the Study across the way.

Once inside the Study, place the Chalice on the pedestal. This will open up the bookcase. Before you move behind the bookcase, locate the Bible on the end shelf. Note word 3 on line 4 (lines are separated by commas): Hear. This is the password to the security panel in the Dining Room.

Move behind the bookcase and note the dumbwaiter to your left and puzzle to your right. Form a picture with the tiles (not difficult, particularly if you know to put all tiles with blue at the top). This will unlock the next door. Move through it and you'll find yourself in Teabing's Secret Library.

Examine the Table and collect the Music Sheet from it. With the Music Sheet in hand, return to the Dining Room and open up the security door with the "HEAR" password. Approach the piano and "Use" the music on it. Play the piano by activating it with the "Play Piano" button, then tapping the indicated buttons as the notes light up. When you play it successfully Teabing will tell you a little story. When he's done, follow him into the Dining Room.

Examine the "Last Supper" painting until you find the V-shape between Jesus and the person left of him. Examine it. After Teabing tells you about the V-shape, look at the painting again and locate the Grail image, above the head of the apostle farthest to the left. Next, highlight John, then highlight the "M-Shape" created by John/Mary and Jesus. When this is complete, you'll be asked to solve the Second Cryptex Puzzle. To do this, continue to examine the painting for clues. Highlight Peter, then the Grail again, then Jesus and Mary. When this is complete, pull out the Cryptex and spell "MAGDALENE". Checkpoint.

Create a Weapon

To create a Weapon to use against Silas (the Albino Monk), you must collect the three Balista Pieces scattered through the house. Follow Robert upstairs and pass through the door.

Continue up the stairs and follow Robert into the room/hall with the piano. He'll be looking at a globe, the first Balista piece. Pick it up and Silas will attack Robert. Hit the indicated button to pull the fire poker from the wood then fight Silas. Two perfect rounds will make Silas run away. You'll automatically send the globe downstairs via the dumbwaiter. Head to the Dining Room.

Approach the second Balista piece and fight Silas again. Once you clear two more perfect combos, Silas will be knocked down and the second piece will be sent down to Teabing. Finally, locate Robert and the third Balista piece in Teabing's Secret Library (access it via the open door to the front). Defeat Silas by performing the two combos, then hit the indicated button to complete the level.
