Neville and the Ghoul

Rescue Neville from the ghoul on the fifth floor.
Leave the Gryffindor Common Room and head to the Fifth Floor (Muggle Studies). Upon entering the fifth floor, you'll run into Malfoy, Crabbe and Goyle. 'Tis time for another duel. You know what to do. Flipendo them silly, Expelliarmus them regularly, and dodge any other attacks. Once you've taken care of them, collect the Challenge Shield and head through the south door.

Open the treasure chest in the narrow hall to collect the Folio Bruti page. Continue through the next door and Flipendo the possessed instruments. Open up the unlocked treasure chest for another Folio Bruit page, and ignore the locked chest for now (you'll need Hermione and her Reparo spell to access it later). Continue through the next door and you'll find Neville and the Ghoul.

The Ghoul is pretty much harmless. If you Flipendo him, you'll do no damage, but he might give you a shaking. So, you're going to have to find another way to deal with him. Switch to Ron and check out the covered box with the clown on it by the ghoul. Upon examining it, the Jack in the Box inside will toss you to the above balcony. Here, fight the possessed toys with Flipendo. Once they're down, collect the Challenge Shield and pass through the next door.

In this room, locate the Spellbook (beneath the green and pink toy box). Pick it up and Ron will learn the Lumos Duo Spell. The toy box will fall down and a few Hinkypunks will emerge. Hinkypunks are annoying. To take out the Hinkypunks you'll need to use your new Lumos Duo Spell on them. To do so, get close to one, target him, then shoot your Lumos Duo Spell at him and hold it there. You should see his body become less transparent. Some take a few shots with Lumos before they become solid in color. If you're having trouble, try it again, make sure the Hinkypunk is targeted, and use your Lumos Duo on him until it runs out. Once they are solid, quickly thwack them with Flipendo. Now, what makes the process difficult is other Hinkypunks tossing flames from their lanterns at you. Do your best to avoid the flames, and do your best to not have your back to any of them. Get behind furniture if you need to, but don't give any of them your back. Once the two sets of Hinkypunks are out, use Lumos Duo on the large crystal ball, deflect the light from the mirror onto the switch above the door, then collect the Challenge Shield and pass through the door. Collect the chocolate frog from the treasure chest in the hall, then continue on.

Fight the toys on the next balcony, collect the Challenge Shield and pass through the series of doors until you meet up with the Robot. You can only damage the Robot when he chest armor is opened up, but, when it opens up he'll shoot missiles your way. Your best course of action is to keep the robot tested throughout. The second his armor opens, Flipendo him, then keep moving to avoid his missiles. Repeat this process five times and he'll blow. His head will land on the train track, rerouting the train to a spot in front of you. Collect the Challenge Shield, then use Lumos on the Crystal Ball in the back of the stopped train. This will activate a switch, raising the bars on the small room by the ghoul.

Jump down to the ghoul and shoot Lumos in his eyes. This will make him walk backwards. Guide him into the newly unbarred room. Once he's in there the bars will drop and your objective will be complete.

Return to the Gryffindor common room.
Exit out of the Ghoul room and make your way back to the Grand Staircase and the seventh floor. At the Fat Lady's Portrait, you'll find the Fat Lady has left her portrait. There will be a cutscene, then you'll find yourself in the Gryffindor Common Room. It's a good time to End the Day.
