Attend Care of Magical Creatures class in the grounds.
Make your way to the Grand Staircase, then all of the way to the Entrance Hall. Exit out the front door to Hogwart's Grounds. In front of you is a large pendulum. Go either left or right (it's a square around a courtyard), then, at the opposite end, cross the large bridge. You'll emerge in a circle of stones. If you're collecting items from the Notice Board, you will see your first item in front of you. Pick it up, and remember to check the Notice Board in the Gryffindor Common Room again to get House Points and your next object.

From the bridge head forward and a little left (between the tall pines) and you'll find Hagrid and his hut. Here you'll meet Buckbeak. Hagrid will teach you how to ride the kind beast. Follow his instructions. First, approach him and "Bow". You'll be put up on his back. Follow the on-screen instructions to find out how to fly. On the GCN version, keep "B" pressed to fly and hit "A" to brake.

Hagrid wants you to collect some bats. The swarm of bats stays relatively close to Hagrid. Simply fly through the middle of the swarm over and over again and you'll automatically catch the bats. Catch as many as you can as the clock runs out. A decent grade will allow you to move on to your next day, which comes automatically.

Follow Ron into the Dungeons
After the cutscene of Harry falling from his broom because of a Dementor invasion during a Quidditch match, you will gain control of Harry in the Hospital Wing of the fourth floor. Ron asks you to follow him to the Dungeons. Do so, and fight Peeves along the way with Flipendo. In the Dungeons, avoid the laser eyes, then make your way to the end. Here, Ron will toss you into a pit, and reveal himself as Malfoy. Rotten! Luckily the real Ron is there to help, and he jumps down in the pit with you.

Escape from the Dungeons to the Entrance Hall
In the pit, switch to Ron and open up the dark section of wall. Move down the path and you'll run into the Red Hats. These Red Hats are easy to beat as they are unshielded, so go ahead and Flipendo them as you make your way forward. At the bottom of the stairs jump down into the next pit, then climb up the other side. At the top, head right. Here you will find an Owl Perch and two treasure chests. Open them up for a card and an Owl Treat. Approach the perch and call Hedwig. When he arrives, feed him an Owl Treat. Once you do, you'll be in control of Hedwig. Fly Hedwig back on the path you just took. Once you reach the Dungeons, a cutscene will ensue. When you gain control of the game again, Hermione will be at your side.

Move to the barred door and grab a handle. Call Ron to grab the other, then switch to Hermione. Place Hermione between the two boys and you'll get an option to "Crawl Into". Take it. Next to you will be a switch you can't reach. Ignore it for now and continue forward.

Arm your Glacius Spell and cross the bridge, freezing the flames as you go. The bridge in front of you is broken, so move right, again, freezing any fire enemies. Continue forward and you'll find some Red Hats atop a tiered platform. Notice small waterfalls emerging from the tiers. Use your Glacius Spell on the waterfalls to provide a step for you to the next level. Take the step, then toast the Red Hats. Continue this process until you reach the top. At the top, pass through the archway and cross the bridge. Drop down, then target the crate above and Flipendo it twice to get it out of the way so you can pull yourself up to the next level and continue forward until you get to the Spellbook. Pick it up and Hermione will learn the Reparos Spell.

Head back to Ron and Harry. Use your new Reparos Spell on the broken crate in front of you, and climb it so you can climb up to the next ledge. At the next ledge use Reparos on the crate you destroyed earlier and push it down and pull it over to the next ledge. Climb it. Repair the broken bridge, then make your way back to Harry, Ron and the switch. Look below the switch. There's a broken crate. Use the Reparos Spell to fix the crate, then climb the crate and hit the switch to raise the bars for Harry and Ron. Together, run across the first bridge. Repair the broken bridge with Reparos, then cross it.

Have Hermione cast her Glacius Spell on the fire balls, then use Ron's Lumos Duo Spell on the Hinkypunks and allow Ron and Hermione to Flipendo them. Collect the Folio Bruti page from the treasure chest and move up the stairs. Take down the Red Hat and continue to the door. You'll emerge in the Dungeon's storage room.

In the Dungeon storage room, sneak past the first laser eyed guard as Hermione. Once you do, look right and repair the broken crate. Use it to climb up on the bookcase and collect the Wiggenweld Potion. From this position, look at your exit, and note the Prefect guarding it. Jump off the bookcase and hide behind the next one until the Prefect approaches and turns around. The moment he turns around, run to the door (but keep some distance between you and the Prefect) and pass through.

Collect the card from the treasure chest across from you, then avoid the laser eyed guards and make your way to the stairs and up to the Entrance Hall. Once in the Entrance Hall, Ron will reveal he stole the Graphorn Horn from Malfoy...that's one of Snape's ingredients. Good to know. You've had a rough day. Time to End it.
