6. The Murder of Crows

Retrieve Diamond Case

You'll spot the Diamond Case being handed off in the cutscene before the level begins. Once you hop into action, the crow with the case will be right in front of you. Wait until he leaves and follow him. After a bit he'll duck back into an alley and park himself next to a dumpster. Wait for the cop to move through the alley area (and make sure there are no passers by), then take the crow down with the Syringe Sedative. Collect the crow's Delivery Suit, then toss him in the nearby bin. Grab the Diamond Case. Please note, during one play through of this level the crow didn't stop at the alley and continued to the NW building. If this happens, I suggest you reload as you need a safe place to take him down.

Kill Mark Purayah, Jr.

With the Diamond Case in hand, move out the north alley (the one the crow was facing) and move left. At the end of the street hang a right, then take the next left (if you want to check your map, you're heading for the building in the NW corner). Move down the alley to the right, just past the Old Books store. Chances are you'll spot a yellow crow or two in this alley.

Go through the unlocked door to the left, then through the next unlocked door to the left. You'll find a spiral staircase to the right. Move up it, then wait at the top for a yellow crow guard to exit Mr. Purayah's office. Make sure the door is closed so Mr. Purayah won't see you and take down the crow with a Sedative. Drag his body around the corner so Purayah doesn't see it when you enter. Enter the office and place the Diamond Case on the desk. This will make Purayah trust you so you can easily sneak up behind him and stick him with the Syringe Poison. Do so.

Grab the Walkie-Talkie and the Diamond Case and exit the office. Please note, having the Walkie-Talkie is important, as it puts the location of the other two assassins on your map.

Kill Raymond Kulinsky

At the bottom of the stairs peer around the bookcase to make sure there are no crows in the next room, as. If there are, wait for them to leave as they were expecting you to leave the Diamond Case upstairs. When the area is clear, move past the bookcase and exit the double doors to your right. It's OK to be seen with the Diamond Case once you're outside the hideout.

The icons that are now on your map reveal that Kulinsky has hunkered down in an area bar. I don't know if the bar location changes randomly or based on the difficulty you're playing. So, below I'll describe how to take him out at each of the three bars. Again, check your map and scroll through the different levels to see where he's located (Angelina will move all around the map, Raymond will stay in the same area).

Rock Bar: Locate the Rock Bar on your map. It's north-central. Work your way there and slip down the alley next to it. At the far end of the alley you'll find a dumpster and a gated area to the right of the dumpster. Wait for everyone to clear out and jump on top of the gated area. Climb the crate up to the catwalk, then move across the ledge to the open window. Climb through it.

Run down the spiral staircase and run straight into the group of people dancing. Once there, move left and through the door. Welcome to the bathroom/kitchen! Blech. Make sure the "chef" isn't watching you and pick the lock on the door. Move up the stairs and through the door at the top. There will be a locked door to your right. Crouch and look through the keyhole to note to location of Kulinsky. When he exits via the door opposite you (to the balcony), quickly pick the lock and run in. Move forward and stand behind the wall to the left. Raymond won't spot you when he returns. Wait for him to pass you and stop at the bureau. Sneak up behind him and stick him with the Poison Syringe. Alternately, you could push him over the balcony into the crowd below, but this opens up the opportunity for cops below to spot you (and a body to be found which will count against your rating in harder levels).

To the right of the balcony door is another door. Use it to make your way to the fire escape stairs. Run down them the fall down to the alley below.

Salsa Bar: Head east to the Salsa Bar. Once you get to it move down the alley left of the main entrance then enter via the back door. You'll find yourself in the kitchen. If the chef sees you, exit, wait, then try again. Otherwise, hang a left and move up the stairs. Go through the door at the top and you'll be in the room with Raymond. Wait for him to turn his back on you and stick him with a Poison Syringe from behind. Exit via the back alley from which you entered.

Blues Bar: Head south the the Blues Bar. Move down the alley left of the main entrance and wind your way around to the back door. Enter then make your way into the main portion of the bar. Let your map guide you through the bar and the kitchen to the staircase in the back. Climb it and wait for the couple who is making out to leave. Look through the keyhole of the upstairs door to make sure Kulinsky isn't facing you, then pick the lock. Sneak in and stick him.

Kill Angelina Mason

Check your map. You'll see a target moving along the streets, from bar to bar, alley to alley. This is Angelina. Since she moves all over, you have to find a good place to take her out. That place is in the west alley (south of Purayah's hideout). Get there. You'll know you're in the correct alley when you see a nice older couple dining and a piano hanging above.

Find the gated area and climb on top of it. Work your way up the crates and ramps, then move along the ledge. Run up the stairs then jump to the balcony across the way. Make your way to the end of the catwalk and place a bomb on the winch. When this is done, return to the alley below (remember the ledge on the way back, as you can hurt yourself if you miss it and fall to the ground).

At this point, it's just a waiting game. Simply watch your map and wait for Angelina to enter the alley and stand below the piano. When she's in position, detonate the bomb.

Please note, on harder difficulties I didn't have the time to wait for Angelina to reach the piano area, as she would get antsy and kill the Politician. Also, the piano strategy leaves her body out in the open, making it impossible to receive a Silent Assassin rating. For harder difficulties I suggest you simply locate her position on the map and trail her. When she pops into a quiet alley area, sneak up behind her and Fiber Wire her. If there's a place to dump her, do it, otherwise put her in a shadowy spot, run for your suit and escape before her body is found. I was lucky enough to be able to take her out in the back alley next to my suit, so I could just grab it and escape before Angelina's body was found.

Protect the Politician

When all three assassins are killed, this objective will automatically be complete.

Escape

Check your map. Note the orange circle in the square alley near the middle. This indicates the location of the Guard Crow you initially took out to get the Diamond Case. This is important as it will help you find your suit again. Do so and put on your clothes. When this is done, exit via the marked exit on your map.
