Telos
Residential Module 082 East
You will be met by Lieutenant Grenn. Say, "We didn't have anything...". Your personal arms, armor, T3 and ship will be taken away. State, "This is outrageous", "I refuse...", and "I'll go...". You'll find yourself in a holding cell. In the cell state, "A force cage..." then try to ask questions. You will fail. A guard will enter later. Tell him to "Let me out of this cage...", then ask why how he plans to get away with this. Finally, opt to "get this over with". For this you will get XP. Also, check your Journal for new
False Batu: Bonus Mission and
Ebon Hawk's I&D entries.
Batu is quite easy to take out. Do so and Grenn will enter. Answer "Impressive", "How did he manage...", "Great. That's reassuring", and "The best of your ability". You will be taken to your quarters, in apartment C3. Tell Grenn to get out, then ask Atton why you need to leave, then rest.
After some rest, the wall console will ring. Accept the call, and allow Moza to enter. Ask, "What does Choda want...", "No, could you explain...". Continue to ask him what you want, with as rude of a tone as possible. He will tell you of the plight of the Ithorians, as the Czerka Corporation has begun to take over Telos. Chordo Habat, the Ithorian spiritual leader, would like to meet with you. Say you will consider it. This will add the
The Caller entry to your Journal.
After more rest you will get get another call. Answer it and accept the call from Jana Lorso. Jana Lorso is a representative from the Czerka Corporation. Speak to her and see what she wants. Ask what you want, and tell her you'll come by when you can. This will put the
Czerka Calling entry in your Journal.
Eventually Lieutenant Grenn will come in and free you from house arrest, although you are to remain on station. Get through the next conversations and the
Arrested! Journal entry will be added and
Ebon Hawk's I&D will be updated. Exit your apartment and start opening doors. Leave Apartment Complex C and you will find yourself in a long terminal. Locate the Information Terminal along this long terminal, and log in. Download the area map. Note the "Transit to another module" option. You can't use it yet, as you haven't explored enough, but once you do, this will be your best friend as it will allow you to warp from sector to sector.
Check your new map. Go ahead and check out the various apartments in Apartment Complex B and Apartment Complex A. In Complex B you will find, Opo Chano, a droid part salesman who is in debt to the Exchange. Keep him in mind. In Complex A, you'll meet Harra. Harra lost his girlfriend by gambling. Doton Het is making him pay 2000 credits for the little lady. Offer to help him and you'll receive the
High Stakes entry. Finally, if you collect what's in the various Footlockers in Complex A, you'll be confronted by a man. Say, "Helping myself..." , "And? You're going to stop me?", "I'm not going to take this...", then "You're right...". Fight him for Dark Side Points. After you defeat him, say, "Keep pressing me on this...". You are now ready to enter the Czerka Offices. Exit Complex A run west to the offices and enter.
Speak with B-4D4, then pass through the door behind him. Speak to whomever you want, then work your way through the next two doorways to Jana Lorso. Ask her all of the questions you want, and tell her you'll bring the droid in. If you want, Persuade her to raise the amount of credits she'll award you with for completing this task. For this you will receive the ITHORIAN CREDENTIALS, XP and and new
Replacement Restoration Droid entry. Exit the Czerka Offices. Head west and enter Residential Module 082 West.
Residential Module 082 West
Again, check the Information Terminal and download the map. Enter the Ithorian Compound. Speak with the Greeter, and work your way around to the west room where Moza and Chodo Habat are waiting for you. Speak with Chodo. Question him how you see fit. Let him know "Yes, I'll see it to you safely". You have now told both Czerka and the Ithorians that you will bring them the droid intelligence. Since we're working for the "Dark Side", we're going to do what we can to really help Czerka. For this you will receive XP and and update to the
Replacement Restoration Droid entry. Exit the Ithorian Compound and return to Residential Module 082 East, where you will find the Shuttle Bay Elevator leading to Entertainment Module 081. Enter.
Entertainment Module 081
There are two ramps here...one up and one down. The ramp leading up is closed off at the top, so go ahead and take the ramp down. The first door you pass will lead you to two Merchants. The first merchant in the room sells legal products, the second merchant sells black market products. Buy what you want (but note, your own weapons are near), and note the Workbench in the room. Use it if you'd like, exit, and continue down the hall. Here you will run into a spot of trouble. Some Czerka Mercenaries are giving someone some trouble. Figure out what's going on and say, "Easy enough...". For this you will receive Dark Side points. After a cutscene, enter the Cantina.
In the Cantina you will have a couple of fun options. Just left of your entrance is the Race Master. He runs the Swoop Racing circuit on Citadel Station. Practice before you opt to race, as you can continually persuade the Race Master to allow you to practice for free. To race, hit the A button once to activate the thrusters (I actually keep it pressed, as it feels better, and it doesn't affect anything). Use your control stick to move left and right as you try to hit every accelerator pad, and avoid every mine. Hit "B" to jump mines and obstacles. Keep an eye on the shift indicator at the bottom of the screen. When it tops out, tap "A" again to shift to a higher speed. Once you feel you can race (you might want to check the track records to get an idea of how you're doing), tell the Race Master you want to do so. He will waive the 100 credit entrance fee for you once.
Once you're done racing, head on over to Melba Dule at one of the long blue tables. She'll offer to play Pazaak with you. If you haven't spoken with Atton since arriving on Telos, this will be your first Pazaak experience in KOTOR II. To learn the rules, it's best to back out and speak with Atton. He will put the rules in your Journal for reference.
 |
Pazaak is very easy. You are given four cards to play with in every round. These cards will be (+) or (-) in their values. You are on the left, you opponent is on the right. The dealer will give you a green card with a positive number on it. The goal is to get your hand's total closest to or exactly 20. If you go over 20 and you don't have a (-) to pull you back, you're automatically going to lose the hand. Usually, you're going to want to let the dealer give you two or three cards before you opt to play with your selected cards. Go ahead and hit "A" to end your turn a few times. Once you get to a number where you want to play one of your cards, select the card and hit "X" to play it. If you're satisfied with your number and don't think your opponent can beat your total, hit "Y" to stand (if you hit 20 you will automatically stand). If you want to keep going, end your turn, again with "A". Note, you can only play one card from your personal deck per turn. You need to win three times to win the game and the credits. Note, your playable cards (those at the bottom of your game screen) are randomly selected from your "Sidedeck" of ten cards, which is determined before you go into the game. Currently, you only have 10 cards, so just select each one and place it in your Sidedeck. However, you will have opportunities throughout KOTOR II to purchase or find Pazaak cards, so you really will have to select which cards go in your Sidedeck.
Melba Dule has a 40 credit max wager, and she'll play just for fun (play with Atton for fun, too). Once you're satisfied with your Pazaak playing, enter the bar area of the Cantina. A man will speak with you. This is Benok. Tell him, "You should keep out of matters...", and "Can't say that I do...". You'll also be introduced to Luxa. Say "She's right. Mess with me..." and Benok will leave. Speak to people in the Cantina. You will meet Corrun Falt, near the stage. He's a disgruntled Czerka employee. He will come in to play later. You will also meet Doton Het, the man who won Harra's girlfriend. Tell him you've come on behalf of Harra. Threaten him, and Doton will tell you can purchase her for 2000 credits or wager her for a 1000 game of pazaak. Save your game then play Pazaak for her. If you lose, reload from your save point and try again. Once you win, you'll be given the opportunity to have her keep making money for you (Dark Side Points...and a lot of credits), or you can take her back to Harra (Light Side Points). We went the way of the Dark Side, which completes the
High Stakes Journal entry.
Exit out the south door. You're back in the main hall. Note the Cantina Information Terminal next to you. Use it to download the map, then continue moving.
Pass by the two people by the Shuttle Door. We'll be passing through that door shortly. Continue to move down the next hallway, and enter the TSF offices. Speak to the Protocol Droid. You will learn the Ebon Hawk is missing (the
Ebon Hawk: Stolen mission will be added to your Journal, and the
Ebon Hawk's I&D entry will be complete). Ask what you want, and ask for your possessions. The droid will open up a door to a locker room. Open up all of the lockers to collect your belongings, then dress up your characters as you wish.
Pass through the next Security Door to speak with Grenn. Ask if he has any work for you. Tell him to tell you about the bounties, and say you'll help. Bounties mean credits, after all. For this you will receive three more Journal Entries,
False Batu: Bonus Mission,
TSF Bounty: Escaped Criminals, and
TSF Bounty: Batono Has Vanished. Next, ask "How will you recover..". Continue speaking with hime and you'll find Grenn is interested in a
New Fuel Source. Tell him you'll keep your eyes out. This is reflected in your Journal. Once you've finished with Grenn, return to the Shuttle Door and pass through.
Dock Module 126
Speak to the various travelers, then move forward. You'll be thrown into a conversation, and you'll be asked if you're Habat's errand boy. Say, "What's it to you?", "What's Czerka's offer?", and "I'll think about it". Move forward and speak to the Ithorian. Tell him you were sent by Chodo and enter. Approach the terminal and open the next door. Move toward the ship and speak with the Ithorian. You will be approached by a gang of thugs. You need to take them all out.
Once this is done, use the Awareness option to note a modified blaster. You are told Grenn will know more. Next, lie and say you'll take the droid to Chodo. You will receive XP, the modified blaster, and an update to the
Replacement Restoration Droid entry, and a new
Suspicious Goods entry. Select the Droid and tell him you're taking him to the Czerka Corporation. Then tell him, "Unless you want to be melted down...". With that, you will be transported to Czerka.
Residential Module 082 East
The droid will be used for some Czerka dirty work. Jana will offer you the credits and another task. Say, "Whatever gets me paid". She will tell you of Loppak Slusk, and she will ask you to kill him. Say, "The pay had better be good...", then ask how to get to him. Jana will tell you to speak with Luxa. Say, "I'll do it". For this you will earn XP, Dark Side Points and a new Journal entry,
The Exchange. This also completes the
Replacement Restoration Droid and
The Caller entries.
Next, speak to the Rodian in the Czerka Office, as he and the other creature are Grenn's
Escaped Criminals. This will trigger a conversation between Jana and the Rodian. Say, "These men are wanted...", "I've been cleared...", and "They aren't going anywhere...". The duo will escape and your
TSF Bounty: Escaped Criminals will be updated. Exit out and head to the Entertainment Module.
Entertainment Module 081
Don't enter the Cantina to speak with Luxa, yet, as we have a sidequest to deal with first. Go ahead and locate Grenn in the TSF offices. Show him the modified blaster. Tell him you found it. Ask why that is disturbing. Say you'll help him. You'll be told to show the blaster around, and you'll receive a new
Smuggling on Citadel Station Journal entry.
Head to the Dobo Bros. Emporium. Speak with Samhan and ask him about the blaster. Continue to press him for answers. Tell him you'd like to get involved with the black market trade and Samhan's smuggling operation. Tell him you expect the pay is good, then offer to help. Samhan needs three items. The first is a plant found in the Vivarium in the Ithorian Compound. Continue to ask what you want, and tell him you'll be back when you have them. This will give you XP, update the
Smuggling on Citadel Station entry, and provide you with a new
Smuggling Journal entry. Leave the Entertainment Module and head to the Ithorian Compound, in Residential Module 082 West.
In the Ithorian Compound, head to the Vivarium, along the east side of the Vivarium. Speak to the Ithorian inside and tell him you're here to collect plant specimens. Persuade/Lie to him to get the Ithorians to lower the sheild around the Bachani Plant. Approach the plant and take a sample. This will update your Journal. Return the sample to Samhan. Tell him you have the plant. You will receive 300 credits, access to his special reserve items, XP and Dark Side Points. Since you've now done work for Samhan, the
Smuggling on Citadel Station journal entry will be complete. Ask him how he will transport the sample, then ask for more work. You are told of a shield in the Ithorian docking bay. Head to the Dock Module 126.
Before you enter the Ithorian docking bay, head down the east end of the terminal. Speak to the Duros behind the desk. Ask him about a passenger who came through here. Tell him, "You'll help me if you know what's good for you", then Persuade him. Ask how much the expense will be, then pay the 25 credits. Continue the conversation and your
False Batu: Bonus Mission will be updated. Next, approach the Czerka Officer by the airlock, and speak to him of Batono. Threaten him and you will be told to speak to Jana Lorso, you'll receive XP, Dark Side Points and an update to
TSF Bounty: Batono has Vanished. With that, return to the Ithorian docking bay.
Speak to the Ithorian outside the docking bay and tell him you need to get inside. Give him your Ithorian Credentials, then enter the hanger. Locate the storage room to the east and enter. Tell him you're here to collect the shield, then tell him you'll be taking it anyway. This will turn the Ithorian into a target. Take him out, then collect the
PROTOTYPE SHIELD UNIT from the Security Locker. This will update your Journal and provide you with XP. Exit out and return to the Entertainment Module.
Again, speak to Samhan, give him the shield. You will receive 900 credits and Dark Side Points. Ask for more work and he'll ask you to collect the supplies from the medical unit in Residential Module 082 West. Say you'll be back with them and head to the Medical Unit in Residential Module 082 West. Enter and locate the Medical Supplies bin next to the Terminal. Log into the Terminal and open the medical supplies container. Slice the authentication codes and log out. Open the bin and collect the MEDICAL SUPPLIES and MEDPAC. Again,
Smuggling will be updated. Exit out and you'll be stopped. Say, "The canister just burst open...", then "I'm leaving...". Fight the TSF Officer, then exit.
Before heading back to the Entertainment Module, go to Residential Module 082 East and speak to Jana in the Czerka Offices. Ask about Batono, and mention that he's gone missing. Say "My reasons are my own...", "A reward...", "How much...", "How would you...", and "I will tell you if I find him...". This will update
TSF Bounty: Batono Has Vanished. Note, Batono used to hang out with the Ithorians. With that, return to the Entertainment Module.
Speak to Samhan one more time and give him the Medical Supplies. For this you will receive 1000 credits and Dark Side Points. Ask if there's anymore work and you are asked to escort Samhan. Agree and say you're ready to go. You'll arrive in the hanger. TSF Officers will bust your little operation. Say, "No one's going to find you when I'm through with you", then eliminate the gang. Say, "That will teach the TSF". You will be transported back to the Entertainment Module. Tell Samhan you expect to be paid, then leave. XP, 250 Credits, Dark Side Points, and completion of the
Smuggling Journal entry will be earned.
Now, head to and enter the Cantina. It's time to speak with Luxa. Tell Luxa you'd like to meet with Slusk. Mention you're working with Jana. Luxa suggests testing you first. Say, "I'll do it, but..." and "All right". Ask about the work and you'll be told to go to the medical unit in Residential Module 082 West (we were just there), to receive a message from some bounty hunters. Ask how many credits you'll receive, then say you'll be back with them. This will update
The Exchange and add
Arms Dealing to your Journal. Head to the medical unit.
Residential Module 082 East
In the medical unit, approach the Communications Terminal. Accept the call. You are to meet the bounty hunters in apartment B3. You are to be alone. This updates
Arms Dealing.
Exit out of the medical unit and head toward Residential Module 082 East. Before passing through, hop on into the Ithorian Compound and speak to Chodo. Convince and persuade him to tell you about Batono, then lie to him about the safety of Bantono's secret. You'll earn XP, Dark Side Points, the APARTMENT C1 PASSKEY, and an update to
TSF Bounty: Batono Has Vanished. Now, exit out and enter Residential Module 082 East.
Move toward apartment C1 (we'll deal with Batono before the bounty hunters). Along the way, Atton will ask if this is a good idea. Say, "We don't have a choice..." and "If she backs out...". Continue on to room C1. Use your Passkey to enter.
Inside you'll meet Batono. Suggest reporting him to Czerka, then state, "Doesn't matter to me...". For this you'll get 500 credits. Lie and tell him to stay put. This will give you XP and an update to
TSF Bounty: Batono Has Vanished. You need to tell Jana about this. Gear up, prepare for battle, and enter the Czerka Offices.
Inside the Czerka Offices, you'll find some enemy droids and a few mercenaries. Your team (if appropriately equipped) should have no trouble taking them out. I found grenades and an upgraded Vibroblade to do some great damage here. Also, after you've eliminated the first group, you can always run back to the safety of the front desk to refuel before facing others. Continue to work you way to Jana's desk. Once you get there, you will find Jana in the middle of a conversation. When the conversation is over, take out those surrounding her.
When you've eliminated the last mercenary, tell Jana you believe payment is in order. You will receive 800 Credits, XP and a Journal entry. Check your Journal to find you have both activated and completed
Czerka Under Attack. Next, tell Jana you've found Batono, then tell her where he is. Suggest you help her with "finishing the business", then agree to bait him into the hall. Again,
TSF Bounty: Batono Has Vanished will be updated. Collect the Remains from the mercenaries and exit out.
Return to Batono and lie to him. Head out into the hall, then say "Batono's all yours". Next, eliminate Batono. You will receive Dark Side Points, XP and another
TSF Bounty: Batono Has Vanished update. Go to Jana one last time for payment. Again, XP and Credits will be granted, and
TSF Bounty: Batono Has Vanished will finally be put in the "Completed" category. Whew! Apartment B3, here we come!
Before trying to open the door to B3, go into your Party Menu and deselect Kreia and Atton from your party. You need to be alone here (and solo mode won't do it). When that is done, open the door and enter apartment B3. Move forward and the bounty hunters will enter the room. Say, "Indeed..." and continue the conversation. The situation will turn ugly, and you will have to battle the two. Do so for XP and an update to
Arms Dealing. You have the 500 Credits in your posession. Collect their remains, then exit out and go to the Entertainment Module. Don't forget to go back into your Party Menu and activate Kreia and Atton again.
Entertainment Module 081
Since you've now encountered all three of Grenn's Bounties, speak with him in the TSF Offices before reporting to Luxa. Speak to him of Batu Rem, the assassin Batu Rem. For this you will get an item reward. Tell him about the escaped criminals. You can play coy with him, or tell him what you know. Either way, you don't have enough info for him at this time to warrant any rewards. The third bounty mission was dealing with Batono, which we already took care of with Jana. The time has come to make your way to to the Cantina.
In the Cantina, speak with Luxa. Lie to her, then say, "I think I'll keep the credits...". Ask Luxa for details of your next job. You are told of Opo Chano, the droid parts dealer in apartment B2. He owes the Exchange some money. You need to collect it. Agree to rough him up, if necessary, and receive XP and a new
Opo Chano Journal entry (and an update to
The Exchange). Exit out and return to Residential Module 082 East.
Enter apartment B2 and speak with Chano. Tell him Luxa sent you, then "That is not my concern...". Finally, tell him you'll have to kill him and you have no other choice. Kill him. Atton will mention losing control. Tell him "I didn't see you..." and you'll gain influence with Atton. Return to Luxa in the Cantina with news of the
Opo Chano situation. Tell her Chano refused to pay, so you killed him. Say, "That was of little concern...". When Luxa speaks of Slusk, ask about the "direction". Ask how this would work, then tell her she has a deal. You'll receive XP and activation of the
Luxa & Loppak Journal entry.
Residential Module 082 East
Speak with the Exchange Thug outside of the Bumani Exchange Corp. Tell him Luxa sent you, and he'll open the door to the Bumani Exchange Corp. Enter.
Persuade the receptionist that you have an appointment. Enter and head east. When you run into the Squid-man, tell him "Luxa sent me to kill you", then "Don't worry. I will". You will be thrown into a battle. Toss a grenade at the group, then work them down from there. Collect BENOK'S BLASTER from his remains, then pass through the next door. Speak to the Gamorrean guarding the next door and he'll let you pass...but not before two droids come out in attack mode. Take them out and speak with Loppak. Luxa will enter. Say, "I don't think so..." and everyone and everything in the room will become your enemy. Pick them off, one at a time. Grenades work well against Luxa and her Gamorrean guards, and your Stun Droid Force Power comes in handy against the Turrets. If you haven't used your Heal Force Power yet, you might care to start in this battle. Also, feel free to be using your Energy Shieds and Adrenal Upgrades here (and anywhere from here on out, really). After all of this, your
Luxa & Loppak Journal entry will be complete.
After a short conversation with Atton, say, "Let's get out of here...". Collect what you want from the Footlocker, the Remains and the PCs. Hack into the computer and access the remote camera controls. You'll see an Ithorian in a holding cell. Hmmm. Letting him out would be nice. We're not nice. Log out and exit the Bumani Exchange Corp.
Cross the terminal and enter the Czerka offices. Since you cleared the area out some time ago, simply run to Jana and tell her you've taken care of the Exchange. Tell her you have "fulfilled my end...", and Jana will provide you with a shuttle. This will complete
The Exchange. Exit out and head for the Docks.
Dock Module 126
Move down to Docking Bay III and speak to Duros. Tell him Jana sent you. You will receive an additional gift from Jana, the LIGHTSABER ENERGY CELL FIXTURE, and a
Crafting Your Lightsaber Journal entry (don't get too excited, we still have a bit to go before actually obtaining a Lightsaber). Enter the Hanger and run to the backside of the shuttle. You'll be automatically put on the ship.
Telos Restoration Zone
All is fine until your transport is shot down. You'll be thrown into a conversation with a mysterious stranger. Ask what you want, tell the creature you don't want to speak of the war. Say you need to find your ship, then suggest you get going. After your conversations, the stranger, Bao-Dur, will join your party. With his ability to take down force fields, it is required that he is one of the two party members by your side. I chose Atton (now at Lvl. 9) as my other party member. This will update your
Ebon Hawk: Stolen! Journal entry.
To the east you will find your first Cannoks. Go ahead and take them out so you know what they are about. Here, and throughout this area, assign Atton to ranged attacks, so he can shoot while you and Bao-Dur take enemies on with your various melee attacks.
Once you've taken out the Cannoks, head to the west side of the ship, have Bao-Dur recover the mines, then collect what you can from the Hidden Cache. Head south. Here you will spot your first enemies in this area. Again, assign Atton to shoot at these guys, while you and Bao-Dur face them with your swords. Use the Mandalorian Melee Shields and some Adrenal Strength for extra melee power. Note, Bao-Dur has a Shield Breaker attack that will take out the force fields some mercenaries use for protection...allowing you to damage them. When you've defeated them, collect from their Remains and continue on.
Take out the Sentry Droid then move around the corner. Here you will find the two criminals on your Bounties list. Eliminate them and your Journal will update the
TSF Bounty: Escaped Criminals entry. Move toward the ocean.
Head left first and collect from the Bag. Take out any Cannoks you encounter. Next, head along the shore. Bao-Dur will tell you about some Mercenaries in front of you. He says you can evade them by continuing along the shore, or by moving along the cliffs. You are also given the option to simply take them out. Do what you want, but I chose to take them out, as I'm a sucker for XP. When they've been eliminated, check the entire area for items in Remains, Hidden Caches and the Plasteel Cylinder. You may find some items you want to equip. Do so. Continue up the path behind the Mercenaries, through the mine field, and eliminate the droids at the top. Move to the next area.
Czerka Excavation Site
Take out the Sentry Droid, then deal with the Mercenary Droidmaster and her Warbots. I focused on the droids and I assigned Bao-Dur and Atton to the lady. Bao-Dur's Shield Breaker combined with Atton's ranged attack worked well. If you are damaged by this battle, wait to refuel before moving forward...and you may care to save.
Around the corner you'll run into another group of Mercenaries. They're tough, as several are protected by energy shields (use the Shield Breaker and Grenades), but, once you've taken them out, you'll find more Mercenaries and droids in the area. Simply take your time, and run away to refuel, if necessary. There's the initial group of Mercenaries you will run into, another group behind the building the first group was standing in front of, two or three at building entrances along the way, then a few (protected by droids) up on the landing pad. When the area is clear, collect the goods and move up to the landing pad.
On the landing pad, locate the Computer Panel. Bao-Dur believes the Ebon Hawk is in a polar region. You need to take the shuttle docked in the research facility to get there. This will update the
Ebon Hawk: Stolen! Journal entry. Leave the landing pad, and move into the Old Military Base, just right of the landing pad.
