"LEGO Indiana Jones" Game Guide
RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK


Chapter 1 - The Lost Temple

The Jungle

Head left and you'll learn how to switch back and forth between characters. Locate the ladder on the left, get under it, and hit your "Jump Button" to open the hatch to the balcony. With it open, climb up the ladder and grab some studs. You'll also learn how to swing long distances by using your whip.

Once back on the ground, head right to the broken bridge and hit your "Jump Button" while running to grab onto the vine. Swing across the gap and jump off of the vine to safely land on the other side.

Here, you'll learn about building piles of LEGO bricks. Simply hold the "Build Button" (the game tells you what button to hold) until the object is built. In this case, you'll assemble a trampoline. Jump on it and hold the jump button to go higher.

After you're done playing around with the trampoline, head right and use your whip to cross the gap of the broken bridge. Destroy the stone holding the vine so that your buddy can also cross.

Just to the south of the bridge (toward the screen), you'll see a sparkling buried object. Switch characters to Satipo (the tribesman) and dig up the LEGO object. Pick it up (you'll be told what button to use) and carry the object to the right to the highlighted green LEGO on the cliff's edge. Drop it using the same button as for digging/carrying. The object will unfurl and create a suspension bridge for you to cross.

Continue right and, after the third tiki statue, watch out for the orange pressure plate in the ground which activates an area of spikes. Past it you'll find a buried LEGO object, a tiki head. Dig it up and carry it over to the tiki base to the left of the stone door. Now that the statue is back together again, push it back by simply walking up to the front of it and moving in the direction you want to push it. It'll slide back, thus revealing a pressure switch. Step on the switch and the stone door will partially lower.

Head over to the tiki statue to the right of the door. Push it back and then step on the switch it reveals to fully lower the stone door. Go through.

Waterfall

You'll find yourself in a waterfall area. Switch to Satipo. Assemble the raft and then hop on it by pressing the button the game tells you. Wait for Indy to join you and then paddle right, until you can hop off onto the dock. Head up the hill and you'll encounter some spiders! Egad man! Attack them and they'll perish quickly.

At the far end of the area (north), you'll see a stone door. Just before it are four hexagon-shaped floor pads through which a spear will pop up. Avoid getting stabbed by the spear, and if you wish, you can grab a spear and throw it at a spider (you'll automatically lock on to the nearest spider).

Once the spiders are clear (they'll come back so move quickly), note that on either side of the door is a vine hanging down. Jump up to either vine and your partner will do the same. Your weight will pull down the vines and the door will lower.

Outer Temple

You'll find yourself inside a temple. Note the brown horizontal bars. I'll be calling these SHIMMY BARS.

Head to the left and jump up to the shimmy bar. Jump up again and climb the ladder. You'll end up on an upper ledge with a square brown pad. Step on it and use your whip to cross the gap to your right.

Here you'll see a brown crate and three pressure switches (orange, green, orange). Your partner is still below and you'll need to help him cross the spiked platforms below. Place the crate on the middle, green, switch (avoid stepping on the first orange switch if you can). Next, step on the first orange switch. Stay on it until your partner gets to the middle platform below. Finally, step on the far orange switch and wait until your partner crosses to safety.

You'll see him use the crank, which permanently retracts the spikes. Head back left, drop down, and then cross over the now-safe platforms. (Note, that you may need to use the DOUBLE JUMP to reach the first platform. Jump, and while in the air, jump again to get a little extra distance.)

Step onto the brown square pad and you'll be told how to use your whip to pull out objects that are out of reach. Do so and you'll pull out the statue's tongue, which also pops out some bricks. Assemble the bricks to form a ladder. Climb up the ladder and jump up to the vine above (if you just keep pushing up while climbing the ladder you'll automatically grab on to the vine). Swing back and forth a tad and then jump off to the right so that you land on the upper part of the path.

Head right and quickly run across the suspension bridge as it'll collapse behind you. Just past the bridge you'll see a stone door, and in front of it, a pathway booby trapped with arrows that shoot out of the wall.

Note the clear patches on the path (they have studs on them). Jump from one to another. Each time you do, it'll raise up. Once you've jumped to all four patches (and raised them all) the door will open. Go through.

Inner Temple

You'll find yourself in the inner part of the temple. There is a crank that needs a key. To the left is a vine. Jump to it and it'll open a hatch. A key will drop out. Grab the key and bring it to the crank. Operate the crank until it stops, thus forming a bridge of stone platforms for you to cross. Approach the gold idol.

After the cutscene the temple will begin to collapse. A door in the back will open. Cross the rotating stones and go through the door.

You'll end up on the other side, to the right of you is a vine. Jump to it (if you keep missing it, note where your partner is standing, near the frame of the doorway, and jump from there to it).

Run right, down the path, avoiding the rolling tiki statues. You'll soon reach another vine that you need to jump to. Do so and then jump to the right. On this pathway, you'll see two vines hanging down. Jump to one of them and wait for your partner to do the same. Your weight will raise up a platform. Hang there until one of the tiki statues comes rolling down and breaks through the wall to the right (the tiki statue will fall into the abyss if you don't hang there to keep the platform raised).

Go through the now-open wall to the right. You'll now have to deal with the famous rolling boulder scene by running toward the screen and jumping over the gaps (double jump if you need to). You'll soon be spit out into the jungle where you'll encounter...Belloq!

The Plane

Run down the path toward the plane. When you arrive, you'll note that the plane doesn't have a propeller. Rats! Take out any nearby natives who are bothering you and then use your whip to grab onto the blue/brown crate near the back of the crane. Carry it over to the green platform and drop it. Grab the other blue/brown crate, this one the shore near the front of the plane, and drop it on the green platform next to the other crate. They'll bust open. Assemble the blue LEGO pieces to create the propeller on the plane, all the while dealing with any natives who are bothering you.

Although the propeller is attached, it is still broken. Switch to Jock, the other character, and stand in the water near the propeller. Hold down the button so that Jock fixes the propeller. If this isn't working, you'll need to keep changing your position until you find the right spot.

Chapter 2 - Into the Mountains

Inside the Tavern

Head left and up to locate the ladder partially hanging down from the balcony. Switch to Marion and jump up to it. Note, girls can jump higher and farther than boys. The ladder will lower a tad, but more importantly, a key will drop down.

Drop down and grab the key. Bring it over to the crank near the door on the left and operate it.

Toht, the evil Nazi interrogator with the glasses, will emerge and run back and forth between two doors while a series of henchmen move in. You need to hit Toht four times by running to the side where he'll pop out and getting in one or two hits before he runs to the other side. Once you do this, he'll start a fire.

Behind the bar is an enemy with a gun. Pick up any object with a blue arrow over it, like a chair, and run toward that enemy. When you see him targeted throw the object at him. Do this three times and he'll jump out from behind the bar. Defeat him and Toht will reemerge.

As before, he runs back and forth. You may throw objects at him or just attack him normally. After three hits he'll run away and you'll end up outside.

The Village

Head right and locate the large TNT near the shiny silver bars. Grab a torch off of the wall and bring it over to the TNT. Touch the torch to the TNT (just get close and it'll light). It'll blow up. Assemble the lego pieces to make a gray platform. Pick it up and carry it over to the green lift on the right. During this time you'll have to defeat the stream of thugs as they come at you. Note that you can pick up and use any of the dropped guns.

Also note that off to the left is a Guard Post. You can fool guards by wearing the correct hat, which enemies will often drop in battle. For now there is nothing you can do with this information, just remember it for later.

With the gray platform now on the green lift, break the brown crate to the left of the blue generator to reveal a wrench. Use the wrench to repair the generator, thus making the lift active. Step onto the lift and jump up to the shimmy bar. Shimmy to the right. At the end, drop down and head right.

You'll see a brown pad. Step on it and use your whip to cross the gap. On the far side, take out the thugs and then reassemble the bridge. When it's back together, push it so that your partner can cross.

In this area you'll see a variety of TNT. Use Marion to jump up to the ledge with the barrel of TNT. Push the barrel off the ledge and then assemble the spilled TNT so that it ends up making a nice big TNT stack near the shiny silver bars. Backtrack to the left, over the bridge, and grab a torch from the wall (if the brightness on you TV is turned way up, you may have trouble seeing it), bring it back and light the TNT to blow open the shiny bars and proceed.

Ice Temple

You'll end up inside an ice temple. Destroy the first two ice boulders to reveal a small hatch. The game tells you that only small characters can fit through hatches. You don't need this info for Story Mode, but you'll want to remember it when you replay the level in Free Play mode.

Head right and use your whip to cross the gap. Break the barrel with the shimmy bar pieces and assemble them so that Marion can cross the gap.

You'll be in an area with a large metal door flanked by two bull ice statues, a crank on the left, and a lift/generator on the right. Use Marion to jump up to the crank and use it to open the doors. Go to the doors, double jump up the right side pedestal, and then jump to the platform with the noisy machine (note, if you break items near the pedestal you can also find and assemble a shimmy bar). Push the machine off the ledge and then assemble its broken parts into a white platform. Carry it over to the green lift and place it there.

Defeat the thugs who attack and then destroy the left ice bull statue to find a wrench. Use the wrench on the generator to make the lift active. Use it and head right along the path, jumping over the gaps created by the falling debris.

You'll soon see some shimmy bars on the ice wall. Use Marion and jump from bar to bar, heading right (there is a funny Hoth ice cave Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back reference if you choose to fall down in this area). You'll reach a doorway. Go through.

Inner Temple

Phew. Out of the cold. Head up the stairs to the large bat statue and push it all the way to the left.

As Marion, destroy the yellow/red staircase on the left of the main staircase to find a shovel. Use the shovel on the sparkling area of dirt to the right to dig up a key. Use the key on the crank which will lower the nearby rope.

Still as Marion, jump up to the rope and then jump to the platform. From here, use the shimmy bars and pathway to jump to the top of the bat statue. Switch to Indy.

Head to the ground, if you're not already there, and push the bat statue (with Marion atop it) to the right. She'll jump to the orange platform. Switch back to her.

Assemble the lego pieces which will create a rope for Indy to climb up to you. The weight of both of you on the orange platform will cause a shimmy bar to the right to descend, and a platform to emerge. Shimmy around, jump to the platform and then to the rope. Jump off and note the Hieroglyphs to the right of the covered doorway. You can't translate them without a book, so don't worry about that now. Go through the door.

Mountain Village

Hop onto the Yak (the animal) and ride it over to the orange platform near the brown lift. The weight of the Yak will cause the lift to go up/down. Use it to get up to the roof and grab the bazooka.

Hop back down and head right. Assemble the green/red lego bricks on the ground which will create a paddle switch. Push the paddle so that it locks into place, thus causing the suspension bridge to be usable.

Cross it part way and use your bazooka over and over on the truck blocking the path until it is completely destroyed and the gate opens. If you need more ammo, just go back to the roof and grab another bazooka. Or, you can grab another bazooka from the gray crate to the left of the bridge.

Note that Indy can stand on the brown pad to the left of the bridge and use his whip to topple a statue. This gives you access to a stash of studs.

Head through the gate to end the chapter.

Chapter 3 - City of Danger

Market

You are told at the start that monkeys will give objects in return for a banana. Sure enough, there is a cheeky monkey up on a ledge and the little rascal is holding a wrench. Pick up a banana from the crate and throw it at him. He'll toss the wrench to you.

Head to the left and repair the blue lego pieces to make the lift active. Use it and then go through the door.

You'll now be on the streets of the market. Head down and grab a banana from a cart/booth. Toss it up to the monkey for a shovel. Dig the nearby rubble pile, assemble the pieces, and then destroy it for a ton of studs.

Go back to where the monkey is located and look for the sparkle patch near the lever switch. Dig there to repair the switch. Just to the left of it you'll see what looks like a bike rack, the gray bars. Destroy it and then assemble the pieces so that they form part of the ladder on the wall. Finally, use the lever switch to raise the ladder so that you can use it.

Climb the ladder and go left to the awning of the booth below. Hold down the jump button to use it as a trampoline, thus allowing you to jump to the key to the left. Grab the key.

Drop back down to the ground and head up the street to the wooden gate barred by two iron bars, defeating the swordsman along the way. Use the key on one of the cranks to undo one of the bars.

Head up the stairs to the area with the two swordsman and defeat them. As Marion, push the brown wagon to the left until it can go no further. Jump up to the booth awning on the left, hold the jump button to trampoline over to the top of the wagon. Jump to the rope to raise the platform below.

Jump to the platform and then up to the ledge where you can grab the key.

Bring the key back to the wooden door and use it on the crank to undo the second bar. Go through.

Market - Town Square

Defeat the desert Nazis, using Indy's whip to take out the ones on camels. Locate the wagon cart at the top of the area and break the crate to the right of it. Assemble the pieces to create a wagon hitch that you can grasp onto and pull. Do so, and pull it to the right, which will cause the wagon to spill, and also open up an alley for you. Go through the alley.

Defeat the black swordsman, and then the white enemies as you make your way forward and up the stairs to the roof. Here you'll see a monkey on a balcony. Get under him, on the brown platform, and use your whip to pull off the railing. You can now toss a banana to him. Do so and he'll toss some TNT down to you.

Throw the TNT at the barrel under the ladder, on the left, to make the ladder usable. Climb it to the top.

Rooftop Garden Oasis

Head up to the dome and push the green paddle (on the right of the dome) forward to reveal a staircase. Go to the top of the dome and push the green ball to the right. This causes a wooden plank to drop so that you can cross to the right.

Follow the path of planks, being careful not to stay on any one brown plank for very long as it'll collapse. When you get to the crate of bananas, grab one. Toss it to the monkey to the right of the crank for the key. Use the key on the crank to extend a bridge. Note, that to the right of the crate of bananas is a rare purple stud (worth 10,000).

Cross the bridge. Grab a banana from the crate to the left of the blue generator. Toss it to the monkey, who is above an arch toward the back of the area, for a wrench. Repair the generator which will drop a heavy lego piece. Pick up that piece and drop it on one of the green pads.

As Indy, step onto the brown pad and use your whip to cross the gap to the right. Walk through the little archway to get to the roof where you'll see another heavy lego piece. Before you pick it up, break the lattice wall to the left and then assemble the pieces to form a bridge across the clotheslines. Carry the piece over to the other green pad.

Assemble the pieces to form a teeter-totter lever lift. Jump up to the left side of it and it'll flip open a hatch. Drop down the hatch.

Guard Post

Although this is a relatively large area, all that you need to do is defeat a gray/black grenade Nazi who will drop his hat. Pick up his hat as you would pick up any other object. Now wearing guard hat, walk up to the iron gate and knock on the guard post (right side of the gate). You'll fool the guard and the door will open. Go through.

Take out the bazooka and other enemies. Assemble the pieces near the truck to form the front of the truck and the break the various pieces near the truck to find a wrench. Use the wrench to repair the engine of the truck.

The game will tell you what button to push to enter the truck. Do so. Drive the truck through the guard post gate. You can then drive it around the street, breaking legos as you go, to earn a bunch of studs. When you're ready, drive to the right until you see the gates. Drive through the gates and then jump out of the truck. Go through the archway to end the chapter.

Chapter 4 - The Well of Souls

The Snake Pit

As Indy, approach the edge and you'll be told that some characters have Phobias and will panic. In this case, Indy's phobia is snakes, so you must find a way to clear a path through them.

As Indy, head to the top of the area where you'll find a brown pad. Step on it and use your whip to pull out a bridge. Switch to Sallah (your partner) and jump across the bridge. Push back the left side black statue and some lego logs will pop out. Assemble them into fire wood on the bridge. Push back the right side statue to reveal a torch. Grab it and light the firewood.

The bridge will collapse in fire and the snakes will move away. Before you cross over it, be sure to grab the blue book on the left side. Jump over to the fire to the large stone door and step on either of the two floor switches. Your partner will step on the other and the door will rise up.

Hieroglyph Room

Watch out for the orange bar pressure plate on the ground as it activates some spikes. Keep heading forward, using Sallah to beat up any snakes that you encounter. At the back of the area you'll find a hieroglyph. If you didn't pick up a blue book earlier, then break the nearby vases to find one. With a book in-hand, go up to the hieroglyph and hold down the action button. You'll see a pattern emerge in the glyph. It is random, so I can't tell you what it'll be, but, it'll highlight four glyphs.

Move your cursor over the glyphs in the pattern you just saw to open the door. Go through.

Golden Staircase / Sphinx Room

Head up the golden staircase to grab the key and you'll discover that the stairs collapse and you'll slide down. Attack the green beetles that come at you and then grab the key which also slid down. Use it on the crank on the right to open the door.

Punch through the wall behind the door and then assemble the pieces into a statue head. Carry that piece over to the front right of the golden staircase and place it on the green legos. The staircase will go back to normal. Although you can go up it now, you can't do anything until you do the following.

Note that there are four pillars in each corner of this area. The upper right one is missing its orange paddle. Grab the orange piece from the ground and place it on the pillar.

You'll need to rotate the pillars so that you can use their extended platforms to make your way around the room, ending up on the bottom right pillar.

Rotate the bottom left pillar so that its platform extends toward the top left pillar. As Indy, use the rope near the bottom left pillar to get up to the top of it and jump over to the top left pillar. Stay there.

Switch to Sallah and rotate the top left pillar so that its platform points to the right. This will also cause a brown pad to swing over to the pillar. Still as Sallah, head over to the top right pillar and rotate it so that it points to the left.

Switch back to Indy, who is still atop the upper left pillar, step onto the brown pad, and swing to the right so that you end up atop the upper right pillar. Switch back to Sallah and rotate this pillar so that it points down, toward the bottom right pillar. Finally, switch back to Indy and jump to the platform with the orange pad.

This pillar will lower and you can grab the heavy lego piece (with the blue diamond sticking out of it).

Grab this piece and walk up the stairs. At the top, drop it for now.

On the right, on the left paw of the sphinx, you'll find a brown lego piece. Grab it and place it on the green lego piece in front of the sphinx. If you step on either of the brown platforms you'll rise up. Grab the heavy lego piece that you carried up (the one you got from the pillars) and step onto either brown platform. You'll rise up and will see a blue arrow indicating that you can place this piece into the eye of the sphinx. Repeat for the other heavy block and eye of the sphinx.

The door will open, go through.

Ark Room

Head to the back of this room and note that there are three holes in the wall: one on the left, right, and middle.

Switch to Sallah and dig up ground on the left where you see a sparkle patch. This will reveal a golden ball. Head to the right, and, if you don't have a blue book, dig up the sparkle patch here to get one. With a blue book in hand, translate the hieroglyph.

This will cause two shimmy bars to appear nearby. As Indy, use them to get up to the platform above the hieroglyph and then use your whip to grab the golden ball in the wall sconce.

With the addition of the golden ball sitting on the ground on the left side of this area, you have all three golden balls.

Before you place them, punch through the wall on the left to reveal some lego pieces. Assemble them into a platform and carry that over to the middle of the back wall, placing it on the green piece. This creates a lift for you.

Place the golden balls into the holes on the back wall. The Ark will rise up! Jump up to it to progress the game.

Snake Pit, with Marion

Those rotten Nazis have stolen the Ark and dropped Marion into the snake pit.

As Marion, jump up to each of the two ropes near the statue to the right. This will cause the support structure on either side of the statue to collapse, which will come in handy in just a second.

As Indy, head left and step onto the brown platform near the sparkle flowers. Switch to Marion and have her jump up to the rope above the sparkle flowers. Indy will rise up. Switch to Indy and swing across the gap. You'll land on a platform and this statue will fall, because you removed the support structures, collapsing through the wall.

Cross over the fallen statue.

Jump to the shimmy bar and head right, using the vine to get to the next platform. You'll soon reach a brown pad. Swing across the gap. In the corner, destroy the spider webs near the skeleton to find a shovel. Use the shovel on the sparkling, buried lever switch. Operate the switch after you dig it out to extend a path for Marion to cross. Jump to either of the hanging ropes, your partner will jump to the other, and hang there until the door opens. Go through.

Snake Chute Room

Head across the room to the right. Break through the wall of the alcove (under the upper platform) to find a key. Grab the key and bring it over to the crank on the wall, near the green piece with the gears. Attempt to use the crank and you'll see that you're missing two gears. One gear is laying to the left of the alcove. Grab it and place it in the green piece on the wall.

The other gear is to the right of the alcove, buried where you see a sparkle patch. If you don't have a shovel, break items until you find one. Dig up the gear and place it on the green piece on the wall. Operate the crank to raise the platform.

Go onto the tiled floor, assemble the tan legos into a square pillar, and then slide that pillar into the depression in the upper left of the tile floor. This allows Indy to get up to the path that you'll now be taking.

As Marion, jump up to the platform at the top left of the room, below the snake chute. There is rope hanging down to the right of the chute. Climb it and then jump to the shimmy bar to the left, on the chute itself, so that you close the chute.

Jump to the right and you'll see another snake chute. Jump to the shimmy bar on the wall, and then to the shimmy bar on the chute to close it. There is one more snake chute to the right. Assemble the bricks to make a rope and do your thing.

Otherwise, step on one of the floor switches and your partner will step on the other, thus opening the door. Go through.

You'll be in a room lined with coffins. Head to the back of it and exit to the outside.

Outdoor Sand Pit

As Indy, swing across the gap from the brown pad. Grab the shovel from the wall, if you don't have one, and dig up the sparkling shimmy bars. Assemble the bars and they'll end up on the wall. Use them to get up to another brown pad and use your whip to pull down a bridge. Cross over it and you'll find a key. Grab it and drop down to the large crank/gear structure.

Switch to Marion. If you're not where you started, get back there. Locate the sparkle flowers on the right and jump to the vine. Swing across, grab the key, and then jump across the gap to the other large crank/gear structure.

Insert the key into the gear and activate it. Your partner will do the same. This will cause the large stone platform to rise up and, egad man!, a huge snake will drop in on you!

Boss Fight - Green Snake

On the same platform as the two crank/gear structures, on the left side, you'll find two torches. Grab one and toss it at the snake. Repeat until the snake is defeated.

Assemble the pieces of the snake into a green lift, ride it up, jump to the platform on the left, and then push the block out through the wall (the block with the orange piece on it). This will end the chapter.

Chapter 5 - Pursuing the Ark

Dig Site

Head forward and locate the train tracks with the raised platform rail car, taking out any enemies along the way. Destroy the boulder on the tracks and then pick up the nearby missing section of track. Lay it in any of the three slots on the train tracks. You'll need to find two more pieces of track.

Continue around the area, defeating enemies, go past the blue generator (to the right of it, and toward the screen) and you'll see a sparkling area. If you don't have a shovel, break any of the many tool barrels. Dig up this sparkling area which will reveal some lego pieces. Assemble them into a track piece, carry it back to the train tracks, and place it.

The final missing track piece can be found by pushing the nearby mine cart (it's to the right of the blue generator) to the right. It'll smash through the wall and leave for you the rail piece. Assemble it and carry it to the track, placing it in the final slot.

Return to where you started.

Below the crane there are two green pieces. Nearby is a blue crate. Grab it and drop it on one of the green pieces.

On the right side of the crane you'll see a brown pad. Step on it and use your whip to pull down a ladder. Climb the ladder to locate the other blue crate. Grab it and then place it on the other green piece. Assemble the pieces in order to make the crane operable.

Jump into the crane as you would any other vehicle/animal. Move the hook to the left, so that it is above the large brown cylinder, and then follow the on-screen directions to lower and raise the hook. When the cylinder is attached, rotate it over to the raised platform and drop it onto the platform.

This will create two platforms for you to jump up to the scaffold, as Marion. Follow the scaffold around until you jump to the brown platform, the top of a raised platform rail car. Switch to Indy and push the rail car to the right. When it stops, switch back to Marion and jump to the right. Assemble the lego pieces to create a rope for Indy to climb up to you.

To the right are two ropes. Jump up to one of them and your partner will grab the other, thus lowering a bridge for you. Continue to the right and make your way to the stairs. Go up them.

Nazi Camp

There's really nothing too tricky here other than defeating a grenade-throwing enemy, grabbing his hat, and running to the guard post so that the gate will open. This will probably take several tries and it's best to clear out as many enemies as possible (although they just keep coming). Once you have the gate open, go through it to the upper area.

Clear out this area. Feel free to hop into the car and drive like a maniac, however, your best bet is to stay on the ground as your partner drives around.

When all is quiet, destroy everything on the left side, and then dig up the orange crate. Open it to reveal a key. Grab it. Head up to the watchtower with the lowest crank (the left tower of the three towers) and jump up to it as Marion. Assemble the pieces next to the crank to make the it active and then crank away. You'll see the rope move to the right. When it gets to the other side, release the crank, and use the rope to jump to the middle watchtower.

Because you have a key in your possession, you can use this crank in the same way to get over to the third (right) watchtower. Pull the lever switch here to drop a blue fan.

Pick up the blue fan and carry it over to the gate/checkpoint. Place it on either green pad, to the left or right of the gate.

The other blue fan is in pieces, in the far right of the area near the large orange pad. Assemble it and place it on the other green slot to open the gate/checkpoint. Go through.

Boss Fight - Plane Mechanic

The plane mechanic's weakness is large gray anvils. Why? I don't know. There is a gray anvil in the upper left of the area, near the circle which marks the airplane area. Grab it and walk it over to the plane mechanic. He'll try to punch it and will hurt himself.

After this, a truck of reinforcements will arrive. Jump into the airplane and hold down the "Punch Button" to shoot its guns. Rotate the plane around so that you destroy the truck (and anything else you want). The destroyed truck will leave behind lego pieces which you can assemble into...guess what?...an anvil! Carry the anvil over to the plane mechanic and he'll hurt himself again.

Another truck of reinforcements will arrive. You know what to do.

After he is defeated, you'll end up on top of a speeding truck.

Atop the Escape Truck

Wait for another truck to pull along side of you and jump to it. Beat up the enemies and then walk to the front of the truck where you will be prompted to enter the vehicle. Do so and you'll be told how to accelerate.

Accelerate until you are between three other trucks and you'll automatically jump out and back onto the roof. Beat up enemies as you make your way to the lead truck. Defeat all of the enemies and then take control of the truck.

Repeat this twice more and you'll end up in control of the truck with the Ark. Again, accelerate and you'll smash into the car of Belloq and Toht, thus ending the mission.

Chapter 6 - Opening the Ark

Submarine Base

Head right, grab the brown crate and place it on one of the green pads on the submarine. This will get the attention of the guards on the far side. Defeat them and then double jump over to that far side.

Head left and step onto the brown pad. Use your whip to lower the ladder. Climb up and head right along the balcony. Jump to the crane (gray, three bar platform).

Switch to Marion and have her operate the nearby crank. This will carry you to the right, allowing access to the right side balcony. Step off and push against the orange piece in the wall so that you grab it. Then, pull back on it which will lower a ladder. Wait for Marion to climb up.

There is a large metal door here, flanked by two switches. Go near one, wait for Marion to go to the other, and then pull it. If you both pull it nearly simultaneously, the doors will open, revealing a control room. Defeat the enemies inside and then grab the brown crate.

Drop back down to ground level and approach the submarine. Wait for your partner to operate the crank which will cause the floating platform between you and the submarine to come to you. Step on it and ride it over. Place the crate on the green pad.

Assemble the pieces in order to make the large gun operational. Hop into the gun and rotate it so that you're facing the two red/green wall targets. Shoot a couple of shots to get your aim right; your intention being to hit the green side of a target repeatedly, thus making the little green arrow rise up. Repeat for the other target.

When both targets are complete, a ladder will form. Climb it all the way up and head right along the catwalk until you can exit via the large open window.

Outdoor Base

Head right, defeating enemies as you go. Atop some green crates you'll see a brown pad. Step on it and use your whip to collapse the platform to your right. Assemble the pieces to create a shimmy bar. Jump up to it, pull yourself up onto the platform (brown pad), and then swing to the right.

Near where you land are more shimmy pieces. Assemble them so that Marion can use them to cross the gap. Head right and drop down into the next area.

Defeat the enemies and then repair the truck. If you don't have a wrench, destroy items until you do. Repair the truck and then drive it to the left, smashing through the gate.

Drive it over to the building with the seven orange floor switches. Jump to the top of the truck and then up onto that roof. Slide the block on the tile floor so that it covers one of the switches. Note that a white section of the gray wall becomes visible. What you need to do is match the pattern of the smaller, brown wall, just to the left of the gray wall.

To do this, pick up the pot and place it on the middle switch (if you placed it elsewhere by accident, just punch the pot until it breaks and try again). Then, as either character, step on the far left or far right switch. Your partner will activate the final switch. When the pattern is matched, the door below will open.

Drop down and enter the room. Grab a bazooka and destroy the nearby blue gate. Go through.

Boss Fight - Belloq

Pick up the Ark container on the left of this area and place it on the green piece, also on the left. Use Marion to jump from the Ark container up to the shimmy bar. Pull yourself up and jump right to Belloq. Punch him, which takes off one heart and causes him to go to an upper platform on the right.

Head back down to ground level and locate the gray lego pieces on the right, near the gray platforms. Assemble them and then climb the ladder of the nearby gray platform. Your partner will jump to the rope to raise the assembled pieces you just made into a platform for you to jump to. Do so and work your way around to Belloq. Punch him and he'll end up on an upper platform at the back of the area.

Go to the area where the actual Ark is located. Behind the Ark, you'll see a utility light, and above it, a rope. Jump up to the rock on the right and then to the rope. Jump to the shimmy bar and work your way left. As Indy, step onto the brown pad and use your whip to lower the platform. Jump up to Belloq and hit him for a third time. This time, he'll end up on the ground.

Punch him two more times and the chapter will end after a hilarious cutscene.
