Rescue Krugo

01 - Go to Fort Denver and find Benny Saff

Go ahead and land on the meteor. You have to go in the side of the meteor and navigate your way through the tunnel. Once you land, exit your ship. Stock up if you need to in the ship's supply room. Exit your ship and go around and find the green lit door. Go through. Take the elevator down. Familiar area, huh? Go to the far end and on the right is "Benny's Bar." Enter, cut scene, and go to the opposite side of where you enter and go up the spiral stairs. Cut scene of talking to Benny. When done, objective complete.


02 - Eliminate all the hostile Jaldari in Benny's bar

Go back down and take out the monkey dudes (Jaldari). There're about 6 or 7 of them. Use grenades and grenades from your rifle. There are a few right outside the door to the bar. Once they're all dead, objective complete.


03 - Link up with Connor in the spaceport

Backtrack to your ship and Connor will be inside your ship. Objective complete.


04 - Jump to the slave mine on Korath

Fly out of the tunnel and jump when ready.


05 - Land the ship in the mine hangar

Go ahead and fly into the meteor and land. Objective complete.


06 - Clear the hangar of hostiles

Still in your ship, use the ship's machine gun to blow up any and everyone you can. Then, exit your ship and take out the rest. Once the hangar is clear, objective complete. You'll get a cut scene of Connor going up the stairs. Follow him up. In the wooden crates around the hangar there is some health and ammo.


07 - Enter the mine

So follow Connor up the stairs and go down the ramp and through the door on the right. Go down the ramp and then up the ramp on your left. You are in an "outside" area with a fortress on the other side of the bridge. There are various snipers in the window. Go over to the turret gun on the right side and use it to kill all the baddies that you can. Cross the bridge and go through the green lit door huge door by pushing the button to the left of it. Objective complete.


08 - Locate Krugo

As soon as the huge green lit door opens you'll have some guys to kill. Go through the door on your right and work your way up the stairs. There is some health and ammo in a store room along the way. At the top of all of the stairs there are some rockets. One flight down from the top floor is a sniper ledge. Look over it and you'll see guys shooting you. You have to get to where they are. Take them out and then jump down to that area. Go through the door.

When you exit, you'll see a large warehouse area on your right and a stairwell up and one down in front of you. Clear out the baddies. Go up the staircase to the control room and press the button on the control panel to open the previously unpowered door. Two guys will come out. Take care of them, then go through the door they came out of.


09 - Find a way of getting to the cable car platform

Go through the door and you are in a large warehouse area, watch out for the bad guys around the corner. You can lure them to you then blow up the exploding canisters if you want. Anyway, work your way around this large warehouse. Snipe the guys up above as you go. Soon, you'll see some stairs above you and a ramp up. There is some Health in one of the crates near the yellow transport ship. Take the ramp up and watch out for the guys that come at you. Once they're dead, you can either go up the stairs or continue up the ramps that they baddies were just shooting you from. Either way you want to get to the control room. If you take the ramp path, there is some health in a bed room along the way. Once in the control room, hit the button on the control panel to start the cable cars moving.

Go out to where the cable cars pass and hop onto one. Crouch and stay in the middle of the car. As you go along, there will be many many guys shooting at you. Just try to stay hidden for as long as you can. If you do need to use something, say, against the 4 snipers shooting at you, I recommend the rocket launcher. It's all about hiding. After some time you'll see an area on the right that you can hop off onto. It's sort of a rock ledge or a rock column. From the rock ledge, shoot the two guys in the glassed in/platform area. You need to wait for another cable car to come so that you can use it to get to the glassed in/platform area. Once you're over there, collect the Health and the Ammo from the shelf. Go through the green lit door that isn't a dead end. Follow the path to the red lit door. There is a railing and an area that you can jump to down below. Do so.

Two guys will come out of the green lit door. Kill them. In the crates next to the door is Health, Ammo, and the Super Gun (I don't know what it is really called but to me it's the Super Gun). This Gun toasts enemies with one shot. So yeah. Grab it. Go through the door and objective complete, but, for some reason, we haven't gotten a new objective yet, so I'll just continue to write here.

Go through the next door and you'll be in an indoor cavern area. There is a series of catwalks. There will be about 4 guys coming at you. On the right, there will be additional guys, some shooting rockets at you. Take them all out. There are some exploding barrels/canisters on the right to make things easier. Once they are cleared, follow the path/catwalk until you see a green lit door in front of and down a ramp from you. Go through the door and take out any guys that you see. There is an intersection here. Straight forward is a gap (a bridge that is retracted), so you can go either right or left. Go left and then go down the ramp to the next room. Take out the guy in here. There are 3 wooden crates here: Ammo and Rocket Launcher Ammo. Go out onto the catwalk and go forward. On your right, you'll notice a ladder going down into the water. Take note of it. Continue on up the stairs. See the door on the left? It should be a green lit door. If it's not, just keep running around until it is. Anyway, once you can get into this room, do so. It's a bunk bed room. There is various Health and Ammo in here and most importantly a button to push. Push the button on the panel to open the drain in the water area that you're going to have to swim through.

Exit out and go up the stairs. You are now in the room you would have been in had you gone right at the intersection. Go through the green lit door and up the stairs. Go through the door at the top and then through the cave room (pick up the health on the crate if you need it) and then go across the catwalk and through the next door and down the stairs. Go through the room and you'll be in the area just about where we started. There is the green lit door on your left, the one that we first went through after we took care of the initial guys.

Now that this area is clear, go ahead and hop in the water. Swim around and find the drain on the bottom of one of the sides of water. If you're swimming on the surface looking for it, there will be a green gas coming from the water where the pipe is located. Swim down and go through the pipe, not the drain thing in the bottom. Swim through the pipe and go up the ramp on the left to get out of the water. There will be lots of bad guys around you. You are near a red fence cage. Kill the guy there. Now, take out the two monsters on the other side and the sniper up above. Still on the red fence side, find the ladder going up and go up. You are in a control room, there is Health here. The cave path takes you to where the sniper was and to the other side of the water. Explore it if you want to. But, you're going to have to go up the elevator off of the control room.

Exit the elevator and you'll be back in the cable car cavern. There will be 3 guys coming at you from the right. Snipe them or kill them however. Go down the path to the right where they just came from, go through the door, and all the way up the stairs. New objective, finally!


10 - Locate the HQ control room. Once located, open up the slave pens

Go through the door and some miners will be running by you. This is pretty nasty area. Take care of the close range dudes, then, switch to your sniper rifle and search for more guys. Go about a 1/4 way down the bridge and you'll see about 6 more guys come out. Take cover and pick them off one by one. When you have them taken care of, cross the bridge and take out the remaining guys. Some have rockets so watch out. There is a green lit door in front of you and a bunker on the right with a turret gun on top of it. Utilize the turret gun if you'd like. Don't worry about the bunker for now. Go through the green lit door and go up the elevator.

Exit out of the elevator, take care of the 3 guys, turn left and go through the next green lit door. You'll get to a bunk bed room with about 4 guys shooting at you. Perfect for a grenade. Collect the ammo in this room once they are dead. Go up the stairs and through the next few green lit doors. You'll soon get to the control room. Push the button on the control panel to open the slave pens.


11 - Release Krugo

Remember the bunker with the turret gun on it? That's where we're going. So, backtrack and go back down the elevator. When the elevator opens, you'll notice some monster guys and a few rocket launcher guys that you have to kill before you can go down into the bunker. Go down and through the next door. Two more monsters. Shoot the exploding canister to take care of them. Grab the health and ammo if you need it. Proceed until you get to a room with a lot of jail cells. Go to the back left of this room and through the green lit door and up to the control room. Hit the button to release all of the prisoners. You'll automatically meet Krugo.

Exit out and go through the now green lit door in front of you. 4 monster baddies will come out. Blow them up. I used the charged up (secondary) laser beam. You can also use your Super Gun. You'll get a cut scene of Krugo running across the bridge and the bridge becoming damaged. Backtrack exactly the way you came in. There are now 4 or 5 robots roaming around. Not good. Use your Super Gun on them or some such other heavy ammo. If you need Health/Ammo, the door behind the bunker is now open. When they are disposed of go across the bridge. See the large gap that is now there? Go to the beginning of the bridge and get up on the side railing and run across the bridge. Go through the green lit door on the other side and you'll meet up with Krugo. Don't shoot him. Go through the next door.


12 - Get to the cable car platform

Follow Krugo until he stops then go up the stairs and take care of the guys on the catwalk intersection. Go straight forward at the intersection and you'll have a bunch more guys to kill...some with rockets. Be careful. When you've killed everyone, Krugo will start to move again. Follow him and you'll get to the cable car. Enter it and objective complete.


13 - Get back to the hangar

Push the button to get the cable car moving. Get out your rocket launcher. As you go, there will be guys shooting at you from other cable cars on both sides. Fire away at them with rockets. When the cable car comes to a stop, exit and go through the green lit door near you to stock up if you need to. Go down the ramp and you'll recognize where you are. When you turn the corner get ready to be assaulted. Once that area is clear find Krugo who is waiting by a green lit door.


14 - Go to the control room and open up the doors in the lower hangar bay

When the door that Krugo is by opens, you'll have to fight some more baddies. Make your way around until you see the stairwell going up and one going down. Remember this? Go up the staircase and into the control room. This time, hit the button on the right of the control panel. Objective complete.


13 - Get back to the hangar

Yes, we are back to objective 13. Don't ask why, just make your way to the hangar. So, from the control room, go down the stairs and then down the next set of stairs. This used to be a red lit door. It is now green. Go through. Then, open the large warehouse door and you'll see the bridge in front of you. The guys on the other side are good guys. They are shooting the various snipers etc. that are currently above you.

Make a mad dash across the bridge. It will blow and start to collapse. Get to the other side and you'll now be standing on the top of the fallen bridge. On your right, you'll see an alcove that you can jump to. Do so and then crouch under the railing. Go through the door. You'll get a quick cut scene of Connor being killed. Go through the next door and you'll be in the hangar. Objective complete. Kill off the baddies. Run to your ship and wait for Krugo to get inside. Go to the cockpit and launch.


15 - Destroy the slaver fighters

You are now flying again. Take out all of the fighters. If you get locked onto the slow moving ship with the red exhaust, just switch targets. You need to take out everybody else first, then, deal with that ship. Once you have it down to just that ship, switch your primary weapon to the charge beam. Hold down the fire button to charge it and then, unleash its fury on the ship. After about 3 hits with the charge beam, that ship will be defeated. Jump when ready.
