Find the Conduit

Upper Ruins

Take a look at your map and locate the red "X" marked "Elevator" just across the "Plaza". On the way to it you'll have to battle many Geth, including some Geth Armature. Use the assault rifle with Tungsten rounds to take them out or you may use AI Hacking if one of your squad has it.

Upon arriving at the red "X" you'll discover that it is an elevator that is inoperable and blocked.

Open your map and locate the other red "X" in the south, past the "Courtyard". Fight your way to it and ride the elevator.

Security Station

When you exit the elevator, I recommend a Save. Fight your way through the Geth (be wary of the Geth Prime) and go up the ramp at the far end to the Security Panel. Open it.

Note, in the area of the Geth Prime, if you have the Decrypt skills, you can use the "Armature Repair Stations" to activate Geth Armatures who will be on your side. You'll have to make a run for it, though.

Enter the Archives

The Security Panel opened the door where Saren went at the beginning of this mission.

Head down the ramp and then north to find another elevator (the one that was blocked up above when you went by it earlier). Ride it up. Make your way to the Mako, hop in, and go through the door.

Archives

Drive down the path killing the few Geth that you encounter. When you reach the orange force field at the end and can go no farther, exit the Mako and go through the door on the right, an elevator. Ride it.

The Watcher's Chamber

Head to the end of the walkway and "Open" the Vigil. You'll learn some interesting info about the Citadel, the Keepers (remember finding all 21 of them), and the Reapers.

Save the Citadel

Backtrack to the Mako and proceed north. You'll eventually get to some Geth, shoot them and then drive off the ledge to the left, landing in the Aqueduct.

Trench Run

Drive forward until you get to the Conduit, killing Geth along the way.

After the cutscene you have 0:40 to reach the Conduit. Drive to the Conduit ignoring the Geth...don't even bother shooting at them although you may want to zig-and-zag a bit.
