Gaflar System - G.F.S. Valhalla


It's finally time to head to the G.F.S. Valhalla. At this point you should have eight Energy Cells. If you don't, then you should go find them (see section above) before you visit the Valhalla.

When you land on the Valhalla exit your ship and approach the Stiletto fighter wreckage on the right. Grab the ENERGY CELL (Energy Cell 1) from the back of it. Head over to the left side of the door and insert the Energy Cell to power the hand terminal. Activate it to open the hangar doors. Go through and use the Grapple Point to swing across the gap.

Shoot the dead Marine leaning against the hand terminal and then use it to open the door. Continue through the next room, Repair Bay, take out the Metroids if you wish, and then blow up the back right crate to find the door leading to Stairwell. Melt the two metal plates to reveal two Energy Cell Stations.

If you've been following this walkthrough, you have all of the Energy Cells. Insert two into the two stations to raise a ramp. Go up the ramp and jump the gap so that you can get to the door leading to Weapons Cache. Go through and grab the MISSILE EXPANSION (38 of 50).

Head back into Repair Bay and then use the platforms along the walls to get up to the SW door. Go through it to Security Station. Break the glass, hop through, then break the lower right piece of glass and roll through. Go through the door.

You'll end up in Security Access. Head right and then enter Medlab Alpha. Scan the Databot in this room and then use Missiles to blast away the three pieces of debris. This will release three Phazon Hoppers. Take them out using Hypermode and then Grapple the cover from the Morph Ball path. Enter the path and roll to a MISSILE EXPANSION (39 of 50).

Exit back to Security Access and head the other direction. Go through the door and you'll enter Axillary Lift. Grapple the door off of the back of the room to reveal an Energy Cell station. Place an Energy Cell into it then activate the lift by using the terminal. Ride it up.

At the top of Axillary Lift enter the Morph Ball slot. You'll drop down to a Morph Ball Lift in the vertical shaft. Take it all the way down and roll to the MISSILE EXPANSION (40 of 50). Exit back out and follow the path and you'll end up back in Axillary Lift. Go through the door.

Roll past the debris in Port Observation Deck and then go through the door. Head west to Xenoresearch Lab. Once there, take out the Phazon Hoppers and then Grapple off the two panels on the non-working generator. This will reveal two Energy Cell stations. Insert one Energy Cell into each one.

The generator will rise up and reveal a Morph Ball path. Enter it and follow it to the SHIP MISSILE EXPANSION (6 of 8). You can bomb the blockage if you like and continue along the path, although it gets you nothing. Either way, backtracking or continuing on, make your way back to Port Observation Deck and then use an Energy Cell to open the door to Junction A.

Go through the blue door to the right for an ENERGY TANK (13 of 14). Exit out and go to the end of the hall and through the green Nova Beam door.

Head through Aurora Access and enter Aurora Chamber. You'll see two more Energy Cell stations, both of which are covered. You'll need to remove the covers. Go up the stairs/ramp, turn around when you get to the top and scan the wall above the Energy Cell Stations. You'll see a Security Hatch Control Mechanism. Fire a Missile at it to raise up the covers on the Energy Cell Stations.

Go back down and insert your final two Energy Cells into their slots.

This will result in three walkways lowering and a Metroid Hatcher. You know what to do with the Hatcher. After he's defeated, use the platforms and the lift to enter Control Room Access.

Head into Control Room. Go to the right and power up the terminal using your Grapple Voltage. This will reveal a terminal. Use your X-Ray Visor and enter the code shown to you. This will earn you the PIRATE CODE, the code you need to Board the Leviathan.

Head back towards the door and note the terminal where you can enter a code. Scan the PDA next to the dead Marine to the right to get the code. In my case it was 78356. This earns you a Secret Message.

Head back to you Ship and set sail for Pirate Homeworld - Command Center.

Remember that Organic Mass in Command Station? Well, now you can do something about it. Head to Command Station. On your way there, stop in Lift Hub and send energy to the terminal of the disrepaired Lift on the right. Enter the Lift and you'll see a MISSILE EXPANSION (41 of 50). Exit back out of the Lift and shoot the cable holding the Lift with a Charged Beam shot. It'll drop allowing you access to the Missile Expansion.

When you enter Command Station go up to the Organic Mass on the right, enter Hypermode, Grapple it, and then send Phazon into it until it blows up. Go through the door and you'll be in Transit Station 2-A. Activate the transport and ride it.

Board the Leviathan Battleship


You are only room away from your objective. Enter that room, go to the top and locate the cracked grate covering a Morph Ball opening. Blow it up, enter the hole, drop down, de-power the switch and go up to the containment tank which is now open.

Step into hologram in the containment tank and you'll be warped to the Leviathan Battleship.

Approach the terminal and interact with it. Because you have the Pirate Code, which you received on the Valhalla, the Galactic Federation will be able to take control of the Leviathan.

Backtrack to your Ship.
