Lunabean.com Home Page > | Jump Bomb: In order to get this Missile Expansion (or any high object while the Ball) you'll have to master a little bit of bomb timing. This, however is easier than in any previous Metroid Prime game because you can jump. Start by jumping (flick your Wii Remote up). At the top of your jump, set a bomb. As soon as you land, jump again. If the timing is right, the bomb will explode while you're in the air, thus sending you even higher. |
| Boost Ball: Press and hold "B" while in Morph Ball to charge and then release "B" to boost. This works to move quickly and works to charge machines. In fact, every time that you see that a machine needs a "kinetic energy charge" use the Boost Ball. |
| Half-Pipe: Half Pipes are used in conjunction with the Boost Ball to get to high places. Boost to get the ball rolling, so to speak, and then hold "B" to charge up again. When you hit the bottom of the Half-Pipe, release "B". This will send you up even higher. Again, charge and Boost when you hit the bottom. Repeat this, going back and forth until you're high enough to get where you want to go. |

| Plasma Beam: The Plasma Beam replaces your Power Beam as your default weapon. It can melt metal (red rocks and red metal) and ice. It can also repair circuitry. This is going to come in handy! |
