Bryyo - Fiery Airdock


Investigate the Unique Energy Spike


Head to Gel Refinery Site. Shoot off the ice blocking the Morph Ball path. Enter the path and follow it (you'll need to set bombs on the red steam vents to propel yourself). When you get to the cracked column use a bomb on it and then use your Boost to jump the gap (if you fall, just retrace your steps). You'll end facing an ice-covered door. Melt the ice and enter Refinery Access.

Exit out to Imperial Hall and enter the Morph Ball path. At the end, unmorph and Grapple the two wall plates to pull them down. From there, double jump to the MISSILE EXPANSION (16 of 50).

Drop down and make your way to Main Lift. After the Morph Ball tunnel, look right and melt the ice blocking a Morph Ball opening (a Dragon's mouth). Roll through and you'll emerge in the "?" room which contains a Golem statue. Look above the Golem to find a large ice block. Melt the ice block to cause a battering ram to drop down. Activate the Golem with a Bomb and he'll ring the large gong for you. Such a friendly Golem.

This action by the Golem has raised a small Morph Ball slot. Enter it and use your Boost to rotate the room until the cracked wall behind is revealed. Set a Bomb to exit the slot and then activate the Golem one more time to make him smash through the wall. Hop through the hole he created and step onto the Warp Pad (Teleport Pedestal).

Ahhhh! You've warped into some sort of crazy parallel universe where fire is ice, dogs are cats, and hotdogs are hamburgers. Well, at least fire is ice. Yes, welcome to Bryyo Ice.

Shoot through the ice, go through the door and you'll enter Imperial Caverns.

Step onto the ice sheet in front of you and aim down. Shoot it while standing on it. Repeat this until you get to the ground level and then go through the door.

Shoot the ice sheet below you again and you'll find yourself at the bottom of Imperial Crypt. Activate the Orb Cannon, which will shoot you back up if need be, and then go through the door.

Cross the platforms and you'll soon see the SCREW ATTACK in front of you. Grab it.

Screw Attack: The Screw Attack is used to cross long distances. To use it, do a running double jump (run forward and double jump) and then repeatedly tap "B" to do the attack (you can hold "B" for longer pulses). It can also be used on any Wall Jump Surface (the vertical gray with glowing green walls).


Use the Screw Attack to get to the other side of Hall of Remembrance. Go through the door and use it on the Wall Jump Surface. This time, you'll have to time your "B" attacks to coincide with when you touch each side of the wall. At the top, go through the door.

Now in the upper section of Hall of Remembrance, fire a Charged Plasma Beam at the blue spot on the statue's hand to make it into a platform. Screw Attack to it and then look to the left to find a SHIP MISSILE EXPANSION (3 of 8). Screw Attack to the other side and operate the manual switch for the door with your Grapple.

Backtrack to the Warp Pad using the various Wall Jump Surfaces. Step into the Warp Pad to return to Bryyo Fire.

Backtrack to your Ship and you'll be told about the G.F.S. Valhalla. You don't need to go there until near the end of the game. So, get into your Ship and set a course for Elysia - Main Docking Bay. You're off to find that Federation Landing Site in order to get a helpful tool for your Ship.
