Elysia - Main Docking Bay

Find the Federation Landing Site

Upon landing make your way to Security Station. As you enter you'll see an orange Plasma beam door in front of you. Go through. You'll see a Wall Jump Surface. Do the Screw Attack to get up the wall. Go through the door.

You'll end up in Security Tube. Roll into the Morph Ball slot and then enter Hypermode. Hold "A" until the Phazon vines are destroyed. Continue rolling, emerge, and go through the door leading outside to Skytram West. Activate the Tram by using your Boost Ball on the Tram mechanism (same as for an orb cannon). Ride the Tram.

Elysia - Eastern SkyTown

Find the Federation Landing Site

Make your way to Concourse and take out all of the Space Pirates. Head to the back left of the room and enter the hallway. You'll find a weakened Security Door. Charge up a Shot and blast it. Repeat for the next one and then enter the Lift to go up.

Continue along this hallway, take out the Space Pirates, and cross over the center of the room to the next hallway. Proceed to the door taking out the Turrets and blasting the Security Door on your way.

You'll end up in Concourse Ventilation. Note the Wall Jump Surface in front of you, and to its left in the wall, a Morph Ball slot. Enter it and set a Bomb to open the grate below you. You'll fall down and will have to activate another Morph Ball slot to continue down again.

At the bottom, follow the path, avoid the ATC fire (or destroy it), and continue to the next door. Go through.

You'll find yourself in Maintenance Shaft 08. Grapple across the gap and enter Chozo Observatory.

Take out the two Advanced Aerotroopers using Missiles and then take note of the holographic projector. Drop down the ledge and locate the Lift. Take it down and go through the door. You'll be in Observatory Lift where you'll see a damaged circuit panel. Weld the panel to activate a Lift to the left. Ride it up.

Head out the door and you'll be outside in Gearworks. There is a large gap between you and the floating platform. Use your Screw Attack to get to it and then use it again, from the platform, to get to the next door. Go through.

Go through Broken Lift to Turbine Chamber. Approach the glass window and use a Charged Plasma shot to break it. Go out onto the small platform and locate the Power Node attached to the power cable on each side of the Theronian Transport Module. Shoot the two Nodes to sever the power cable. The Module will open up allowing you to jump through it and across the gap. On the other side shoot the window and then go through the door.

You'll end up in Maintenance Shaft TA. Use the Screw Attack to cross the gap. Go through the door and cross the Skybridge Athene, taking out Tinbots as you go. Head through the door on the far side of the bridge.

Shoot the glass panels in Landing Access and then use the Screw Attack to clear the gap. Make your way to SkyTown Federation Landing Site. When you arrive the Aurora Unit will unlock the landing pad. Go up to the control unit and place a Bomb in the Morph Ball slot to retract the cover. Call your Ship to you using your Command Visor.

When your Ship arrives, Save. Then, go to the nearby Upgrade Terminal to equip the SHIP GRAPPLE BEAM to your Ship.

Ship Grapple Beam: The Ship Grapple Beam allows you to pick up and drop off large objects. You do this the same way you use the Ship Missiles, that is, you equip your Command Visor. In this case, though, you'll want to look for the Ship Grapple Command Icon and lock onto it. You can also pick up any objects in the environment that shimmer.

Alas! You have the necessary equipment to make a bomb. The helpful Aurora Unit will mark the locations of all three bomb pieces. And away you go!

Collect First Bomb Component

Head west and go through the "?" that reads "Collect First Bomb Component" (you can't get the bomb yet). Continue outside to Gearworks. When you exit an ATC will blow up the gears thus giving you access to a MISSILE EXPANSION (17 of 50). Use the Screw Attack to get it and then continue on to Chozo Observatory.

Use the Ship Grapple on the Grapple Point of the Holographic Projector. This will reveal the Projector Power Source. Hop down to it and Weld the circuit panel to bring it online. Back away a bit and order your Ship Grapple to drop the projector back down. Head over the Morph Ball Slot and activate it. It will rise up.

Use the various platforms to jump to the top of the projector and then jump to the open door and go through the tunnel. You'll soon enter Botanica.

Take the left hallway to locate a SAVE STATION and then Scan the container/block in the main area of this room to reveal a Grapple point on the container. Pull it out and use it to jump up to the upper door. Repeat for the next container. Before you go through the Ice Missile door, turn around and position yourself above the second platform you just pulled out. Screw Attack to the platform/alcove across from you. Turn and locate the MISSILE EXPANSION (18 OF 50) across the way. Screw Attack to it and then return to the Ice Missile door and go through.

You'll end up back at Broken Lift, except now you are in the upper part of it. Go through the next door to the "?" room, Collect First Bomb Component.

Boss Fight: Berserker Lord

You've already fought one of these guys, but just in case you forgot, here's the quick summary. Shoot each of the red spots on his shoulders until they explode which will cause him to shoot out black orbs at you. Shoot at the orbs to bounce them back at him. After about four or five rounds of this the armor on his head will bust open. From this point on, shoot his head. Feel free to use Hypermode at any point.

Also, his attacks are easy to avoid if you simply use the Transport Module in the middle as cover.

After he's defeated, use enter into each of the four Morph Ball slots and use the Boost to spin. Raise up all four locks and then activate the rotation switch. With the hatch doors now open, call in your Ship Grapple with your Command Visor (target the top of the Transport Module).

One down. Two to go.

Collect Second Bomb Component

After your ship flies away with the first Bomb Component a Morph Ball slot will reveal itself. Drop through it and continue toward the second "?" on your map. In Piston Hall you'll have to time a Screw Attack just right to cross the gap and make it through the rotating doors. Once inside the rotating doors look around until you see the hallway with a door at the end. Go through that door.

You'll end up at the bottom of Collect Second Bomb Component (aka, Concourse), in a long hall with a broken Lift in the middle. There are two broken circuit panels, one on each end of the hallway. Weld each of them to activate the Lift. DO NOT RIDE IT UP. Well, actually it's fine if you do, just ride it back down as you're not ready for that part yet.

Instead, go through the orange Plasma door at the end of the hall. You'll end up in Maintenance Shaft CC. Look up to locate a Green Ledge. Jump up to it and you'll automatically Morph. Roll along the path and you'll drop down at the end of it. Go through the door.

You'll be outside in Zipline Station Delta. Take out the Armored Aerotrooper and then use the Screw Attack to make your way from floating platform to floating platform. Do note that you'll have to time one of the Screw Attacks because one of the platforms is spinning and its gate will block you. Also note that an ATC will attack. Take it out.

Once on the other side, go through the door and enter Transit Tube A. Go down the side-hall and through the orange plasma door to find a SAVE STATION. Exit out and go through the next door. Continue on to Xenoresearch A Lift and ride the Lift up.

Once in Xenoresearch A head past the containment units and locate the door with the Morph Ball Spinner to the right of it. Enter and Boost to open the door. Continue along the path until you get to the Lift. Ride it up and go through the door in front of you.

You'll now be in Xenoresearch B. Head straight forward and locate the Morph Ball path situated between the two containment tanks. Enter it and roll to the cracked plate below you. Set a Bomb to drop through. Continue through the halls until you see a dead end with a nearby cracked Morph Ball slot cover. Bomb the cover and roll through to the next cover. Bomb it and exit out.

Make your way to the end where you'll see a lock on the wall to the left of a containment tank. Scan the lock to reveal a Grapple Point. Grapple it and activate the switch to discover an ENERGY CELL (Energy Cell 5).

Removing the Energy Cell will lower the shield on the containment units, making the glass vulnerable to weapon fire. Blast the containment unit here and grab the SEEKER MISSILE.

Seeker Missile: The Seeker Missile can lock on to up to five targets simultaneously. To do this, press and hold down on the D-Pad and then aim at the targets you want to lock on to. Release to fire the missiles.

You can also lock on to individual targets multiple times to do lots of damage.

Begin backtracking and you'll note that the containment units have been shattered. Egad man! The Phazon Metroids are on the loose. To easily destroy them fire a Missile at them, which will cause them to freeze, and then fire a Charged Plasma beam at them. If your Ice Missiles are having no effect on it, then Morph, enter Hypermode and hold down "A". This is a very effective way to kill them. If one attaches itself to you, Morph and set off Bombs to make it disattach.

Work your way back to the Lift leading down to Xenoresearch A Lift. Just before the Lift, collect the ENERGY TANK (8 of 14) from the containment unit. When you exit, you'll be in Research Pod Lift. Head forward, go through the door, turn right and blast through the Five-Missile door. This will reveal a Lift. Ride it up to Transit Tube B. Move through this room taking out the Armored Pirate Trooper.

You'll exit outside to Zipline Station Delta. This time, however, you're on the upper part of it. Grapple the zipline and ride it across. Head through the door to Concourse Access B and then go through the Ice Missile door to the "?" room, Concourse, aka, Collect Second Bomb Component.

When you enter, to the left is a Morph Ball path leading to a MISSILE EXPANSION. Grab it and then look to the center of the room, at the Theronian Containment Unit. Note the Four-Missile lock on it. Shoot it to release the lock. There are two more locks.

Roll back out and follow the hall to the Four-Missile Lift control. Fire at it and then ride the Lift down. Welcome back. You've been here before. Take out the two remaining locks on the Containment Unit to open the bay hatch above.

Equip your Command Visor and call in your Ship Grapple to pick up the Theronian Containment Unit. Nice work. Two Bomb pieces down, one to go.

Backtrack to the Tram (the Arrow shape on your map just past Concourse Access A. You'll end up back in SkyTown (as opposed to Eastern SkyTown). Backtrack to the last remaining "?", Collect Third Bomb Component. On your way there, activate the Morph Ball Cannon on Zipline Station Bravo using your Seeker Missiles.

When you arrive, take a look at the Locking Mechanism and use your Seeker Missiles on it. Call in your Ship Grapple. Bam! All three pieces of the bomb are together. You'll now have a thermonuclear bomb.

Place Completed Bomb in Spire Pod

Head off to Spire Pod (Save on the way through). When you arrive, drop the bomb using your Ship Grapple. Next, head back to Aurora Chamber and talk to the Aurora Unit. He'll ask that you accept the mission. Do so.

Drop Spire onto Seed Shield

Head to Spire Pod. When you arrive it'll break away from the rest of SkyTown. You'll be attacked by a plethora of enemies and must protect the Spire as it gets into position. The enemies are mainly ATCs, Pirate Troopers, and Jolly Rogers Drones. Use Hypermode throughout this battle. If you see that you're in Hypermode overload use it to your advantage to extend the life of your Hypermode. In other words, don't rapidly tap "A" to end your overload. Just manage the overload by not letting the meter get too full. In this way you can keep stay active in Hypermode for the full 25 seconds.

After a few minutes the Spire will be in position. A control panel will appear. Activate it and touch each of the three green circles to shut down the engines. This causes an escape pod to pop up and a Five Minute timer to begin. Enter the Escape Pod and activate it.

What the! Stupid Chozo technology! The Escape Pod doesn't work. Enter the Morph Ball slot that opened at the front of the Pod structure. You'll end up in a room where you'll have to Weld three circuit panel. One is accessible, one is behind a security shutter (Scan then Grapple) and one is behind a door (Scan then Grapple). Welding all three panels shouldn't take longer than two or three minutes, so you'll have plenty of time. When they're repaired, head back up and activate the Escape Pod.

You'll end up back in SkyTown, in Escape Pod Bay. Make your way to Landing Site A. Activate the Morph Ball podium to open the cover on the landing site and then call your Ship to you. It's time to leave the friendly confines of this area. Head to Elysia Seed.

Elysia - Elysia Seed

Destroy the Leviathan Seed

Hop up the platforms and go through the hall breaking the Five-Missile locks and shooting the blue eye of the plants. You'll soon get to the Boss Fight.

Boss Fight - Helios

From the start Morph and Boost your way around the arena to avoid his Swarmbot rolling ball attack. Keep rolling around until you hear him break out of the ball attack (it sounds like shattered glass).

At this point, he'll go into a disc mode where five sub-droids will surround him. Use your Seeker Missile to hit all five droids simultaneously which allows you a limited time to shoot him. Use your regular Plasma Beam...don't waste any Hypermode; all you're trying to do is break his armor. You'll know you're hitting him when he glows yellow/orange.

If during this process you see the Swarmbots spread out and start glowing and spinning, one after another, then simply calm yourself, look directly at the spread out Swarmbots and use a Charged Plasma shot on the Swarmbot that is glowing/spinning. Keep picking off Swarmbots in this manner until they stop. Right after they do, Helios will be vulnerable for a few seconds, so lay into him with your Plasma beam.

Repeat this process another one or two times (anytime you see the five sub-droids, attack with the Seeker Missiles) and his armor will break open. As soon as it does, enter Hypermode and charge up a shot. He'll appear in front of you and will pause for a second and then start coming at you. Fire your charged Hypermode shot at him (he'll glow red to let you know you're hitting him) and you'll take off at least 1/3 of his Energy.

Of course, you're free to just rapidly fire your Hypermode at him, however, I found the Charged shot to work best.

Repeat this process in order to attack him a second time with Hypermode. After this attack you'll have knocked his Energy down to about 1/3. Now he's angry and will add two attacks to the mix.

The first one is a humanoid form. Note that each of the arms and legs has a glowing red orb at the joint. When he lifts his leg to do his slam attack (he slams his foot down creating a percussion wave) shoot at the red orb. If you break it, he'll fall and you can shoot him repeatedly with your Plasma beam.

If you don't feel like shooting the red orbs because you're taking too much damage you can wait out this humanoid form and avoid his attacks (jump over the percussion wave and shoot the black orb he throws at you).

The second new attack is the tornado. When you see him do this Morph and roll near the tornado laying bombs next to him. A few successful bomb hits and he'll bust out of this form.

Of course he still has the spread out Swarmbot attack, however now, they'll come at you much more quickly. Just keep your composure and attempt to shoot them before they get to you. Keep in mind that you can use a half-Charge on your Charged shot which allows you to shoot each one faster.

During this last stage of the battle all you're trying to do is to bust his armor open again. When you do, enter Hypermode and finish him off.

This battle should only take three uses of Hypermode, each time taking about 1/3 off of his Energy. However, if you missed along the way, it may take you four or five times. Don't worry because there are plenty of Energy Orbs released during the battle. Just be on the lookout for them.

When Helios is finally defeated grab the HYPER MISSILE. You can now fire Missiles while in Hypermode.

After you grab the Hyper Missile you'll automatically be in Hypermode. Locate each of the four spiked pods on the walls surrounding you (the cutscene will show you where they are) and then fire a Hyper Missile into each one. The seed will reveal itself. Hit "A" when prompted to destroy it.

Congrats! Both Leviathan Seeds have been destroyed. Tell me, AU, am I done? What? There is another Leviathan Seed on the Pirate Homeworld. Great. Just great. Fly there.
