Welcome to Belgium. Now the battles start to get really hard. The only main difference here is that there are more enemies and Tanks than you've ever had to deal with. Also, you'll find many Red Plungers around which explode road bombs or fire a bevy or rockets...useful for blowing up tanks. In the first few playthroughs of this mission, try to learn where the Red Plungers are located and what explosives they lead to. It is very important in this mission to find and use wisely your Bazooka. They are spread out all around the area (I'll tell you where they are), but don't go shooting them off for fun...you'll need them on the Tanks.
The beginning of this mission is pure chaos. You'll have many enemies rushing down the hill in front of you who will then be joined by a Tank. If you're feeling brave, take control of the Stationary Machine Gun and shoot the enemies until the Tank threatens you. Otherwise, crouch and head left (West), along the wall. Find the Bazooka laying next to another Stationary Machine Gun, and your first Red Plunger. Trade your Pistol for the Bazooka and fire the two shots at the Tank when you see it come over the hill. Next, go to the Red plunger which leads to a road explosive. Learn where the explosive is located by following the fuse wire. Once you know where the explosive is, you're going to hit the Plunger when the Tank rolls over it. Between the two Bazooka Shots and the road bomb you have done some good damage to the Tank, but it won't destroy it.
From the wall, head South to the Windmill. There is a rocket unit on the way with a Red Plunger and a Medkit. Take cover behind the rocket unit and watch the Tank as it rolls by in the distance. When it crosses the path of the rocket unit, fire the rockets. If you did the two Bazooka shots, the first Red Plunger, and these rockets, the Tank will explode.
Head into the windmill. Kill the two enemies who run down the stairs. Grab the Medkit. Go to the top and kill the officer. Note that behind the desk is a Sniper Rifle and in the area is a Medkit. Grab the Revive Icon in the doorway to the outdoor balcony.
Go out onto the balcony of the windmill and go right. Kill any enemies on the balcony, if you see any, and then grab the Bazooka and Medkit at the back of the Windmill. Locate another Tank which is coming in from the East, near the Windmill. The Bazooka should have four shots. Fire three at the Tank to destroy it.
You can go ahead and waste the last shot of the Bazooka by firing it at any of the enemies below. Go back into the Windmill and grab the "Gewehr Scoped", aka, the Sniper Rifle. Take cover where you can, either in the doorway of the Windmill or behind the windmill on the balcony, and use the Sniper Rifle to pick off the many enemies below, in the park/fountain area.
When all is clear, head back the stairs of the Windmill and continue to head West, past the Church, toward the Green Smoke. On the way there, be sure to grab the Medkit in the fountain. Enter the American Command Post (CP).
As soon as you enter the Command Post (CP), grab the Medkit and the Bazooka near the desk. Go to the back room to find a Medkit near the Radio. Then, go up the stairs, grab more Bazooka Ammo on the table. Go to the window and start firing shots at Tanks. It will take three shots per Tank. There is also a Medkit in this room. If you run out of Bazooka Ammo, you can go back downstairs and jump out of the window near the Radio. By the hedges outside are two more rounds. Also, always watch your back. Enemies have been known to come into and up the stairs of the CP, surprising you from behind. Finally, on the first floor, there is a Red Plunger that may help your quest if you're out of Bazooka Ammo OR there is a rocket unit outside as well. Otherwise, you'll have to do the old run up and throw Grenade under Tank routine. However, if you followed this walkthrough, blew up the two tanks at the Windmill (one on the way), then you should only have three additional Tanks to destroy to complete the objective.
Once the Tanks are destroyed, go to the first floor where you traded out your Sniper Rifle for the Bazooka and get your Sniper Rifle back. You have been told that you need to enter the Church to find some C2 explosive. Head to the large wooden front door of the Church. As you approach, it'll blow off, and three officers will come out. Shoot them and enter the Church. There is a Medkit here. Go forward and look to the right to find the Altar. There is a Medkit on the Altar. Pass the Altar and find the stairwell on the right.
This is a nasty stairwell. There are enemies firing in on you from the buildings across the road. Folker Kappelhoff is near the top of the stairs. If you have an Adrenaline Ready, use it, run up the stairs and pump lead into Kappelhoff. Otherwise, slowly make your way up the stairs, firing on the enemies across the way. When you get to Kappelhoff charge him with your Machine Gun. Be sure to grab the intel that falls off of him, the Scientist Rosters.
On the landing where you killed Kappelhoff is a Red Phone. Use it to call in an Artillery Strike. Be wary of the Tank while you pick off any remaining enemies in the windows. Continue up the stairs to the top to get the C2.
Your final objective is to take the C2 to the Town Bridge and blow it up. Look at your Map to get an idea of where you need to go. Head back down the stairs, the West door of the Church will blow open and enemies will come streaming in. Don't get too comfortable, because the North door of the Church will blow open next, and more enemies will come streaming in. I recommend taking cover in the stairwell and peeking out of the doorway to pick off enemies. Then, move out once you have things under control and finish them off. When the inside of the Church is clear, focus on heading out the North door. There is a Stationary Machine Gun firing on you. Use your Sniper Rifle from some cover to pick off any enemies manning the gun. Once the Machine Gun is taken care of, pick off any enemies on the roofs or second floors of the buildings across the road.
Exit the Church. Go across and grab the Medkit near the Stationary Machine Gun, and then head up the stairs. Jump the gap in the floor to grab another Medkit. Go back down and head North through the house to the next set of houses. Clear them out, grab the Medkit upstairs, and then head East toward your destination. Don't worry about the Tank near the fortified gate. Instead, grab the Bazooka (trade it for your Machine Gun) and go into the house near the Bazooka. Go up the stairs, grab the Medkit and then look out the North window. First, use your Sniper Rifle to pick off the enemies in the windows in the distance. Then, use the Bazooka to destroy the Tank in the distance. Go back down, trade in your Bazooka for your Machine Gun and then head to the gap in the wall where your fellow soldiers are taking cover.
And you thought the mission was tough up to this point. Here is where things really start to get hairy. First, don't worry about the other Tanks. Start picking off the enemies, especially any Stationary Machine Guns. You'll also see many enemies coming from down below, near the tree. This is where you need to go...past the tree and under the bridge. Keep killing until you get to a relative calm. Then, make a break for the tree and take cover along the right wall. If you look right, under the bridge, you'll see more enemies. Instead of charging in there, head left and take cover behind the snowy hill. From here you can pick off the enemies under the bridge using your Sniper Rifle. Make sure to get the ones on the right and the ones on the left. If you have an Adrenaline ready, use it and run under the bridge. On the left, you'll see the Red Dynamite where you can Set the Charge. Do so to end the mission.
If you don't have an Adrenaline ready, be very careful. Make sure there are no enemies left under the bridge and kill off any reinforcements that may stream in. When it seems safe, make a run for it and Set the Charge to end the mission.
You thought the last mission was tough? Again, your skill is going to come in handy on this mission. You have to be accurate, shoot quickly, and take cover at all times. This mission isn't too tough, in reality, as long as you get through the nasty first and last part. The middle is pretty easy.
Go ahead and take a look at your map. You start in the NE. You'll be going down the left side of the bridge, up to the blown out Windmill, across to the mill (the building to the North of the windmill), and then continuing West into the actual farmhouse compound where you will blow up the Tiger Tank in the South shed and then enter the main farmhouse itself. Easier said than done.
Note: Again, EA's amazingly terrible fit and finish have made it so that the Compass and Map do not align. All directions in this level are based on the Map, not your Compass.
From the start, run to the bridge. Go down and alongside the bridge on the left and grab the Medkit. Work your way up the hill toward the destroyed Windmill and the Stationary Machine Gun until you trigger some enemies in the windmill. One will man the Machine Gun. Take cover under the bridge and use your Sniper Rifle to pick him off and then the enemy on the balcony of the destroyed windmill. Slowly move up the hill toward the Stationary Machine Gun. Watch out for nearby enemies on the right. Run into the windmill, kill the enemy on the ground floor and then any other enemies as you run up the stairs. At the top, exit out onto the balcony and grab the Medkit and Sniper Ammo. Go back downstairs and use the windmill entryway as cover and use your Sniper Rifle to fire on any enemies that you see. There are several behind a wall to the North, near the mill building, and others off to the West. Be especially certain to get the enemies behind the wall off to the left of the windmill doorway...they'll come back later to get you if you don't.
Once the area is clear, make a run for the mill to the North. Ignore the Red Plunger for now (you'll use it later if you want) and go to the far side of the mill where you can enter. Kill the enemy guarding the door, kill any enemies inside, and then grab the Medkit and trade in your Machine Gun for the StG44 Machine Gun. You don't have to, but I find it to be a much more effective gun.
Look at your Map. Find the main road going West. Follow it up to the barbed wire where you'll see Red Dynamite for you to Set a Charge. Approach it and you'll trigger many enemies. They'll be firing on your from various windows. Use you Sniper Rifle to pick off the ones you can see and then go up to the Red Dynamite and Set the Charge. While you're doing this, you will take fire. Just suck it up and deal with it. Don't go through the opening yet. Instead, head South along the wall, taking cover behind the trees. Use your Sniper Rifle to pick off any Stationary Machine Gunners that are firing down on you from the various houses/barns. Also, pay particular attention to any barrels that you see in this level. Shoot them and they'll explode.
Once you have some of the Gunners taken out, work your way back toward the opening you blew up, and use the opening for cover as you take out the enemies to the right of the opening, outside of the building. Several sets will stream in and take cover behind the wall near the building. Once those enemies are dead, take out any other major threats that you see.
It's time to run like crazy for the Tank. Get your Machine Gun ready, if you have an Adrenaline, use it, and then run through the opening and turn left and head directly for the Tank. As you're running toward it, shoot the barrels near it to kill the maintenance workers. If the Tank is fixed already, it'll fire on you and you'll probably die. Again, deal with it. All I want you to do is get behind that Tank.
Once you are behind that Tank, grab the Medkit, find the Red Dynamite at the back of the Tank, and Set a Charge to destroy it. Make sure to get out of the barn momentarily when it explodes. Run back in and grab the Revive Icon and gather your thoughts. You are safe behind the Tank.
Take out your Map. There are enemies to the West that you can fire on from the Tank barn. Find the large Farmhouse with the Yellow Arrow. This is where you'll be heading. You'll be approaching it from the South (remember to only follow directions based on the Map, not the Compass). First, however, you'll be visiting the SW corner of the Map.
Okay. First things first. On your way to the Tank, you passed an Artillery Position. Go back to it and Set a Charge to destroy it. Next, from the Tank, head West and you'll run into another Artillery Position. Kill off the enemies in the area and destroy it with a Charge. Be aware that there are exploding barrels in the area to help you kill enemies.
Once the second Artillery Position is destroyed, go into the SW shed, grab the Medkit and take note that there is a Bazooka inside. You don't need it now, just remember where it is. Go up to the Farmhouse and go up to the left (West) side. Shoot the enemy off in the distance. Then, approach the first window on the right. Shoot the enemy. Then, jump into the window making it so you are inside.
You are now inside the Farmhouse, well, inside the stables. You just killed an enemy in the stall. In front of you is the staircase going down to the French Operative. Don't worry about it yet. First, you're going to clear the entire Farmhouse and then return here. However, behind the Stationary Machine Gun are two Medkits.
For now, work your way through the stables, killing the enemies in the various stalls. Go through the door, grab the Medkit, and then man the Stationary Machine Gun in the window. Kill any enemies outside if there are any. Continue forward through the Farmhouse. Next, you'll meet up with two enemies near the Christmas Tree (hey, it's origin is German, after all). Near the Christmas Tree is a Shotgun if you want it, although I don't recommend it.
Go back one room and find the staircase going up. Go up. Kill the enemy at the top of the stairs, any other enemies, grab the Medkit, and then man any Stationary Machine Gun that is up here and kill any enemies you see below. Before you go back down, go to the top of the staircase and find the open window. Walk out onto the roof and head for the windows in front of you. Enter any window and you'll see that you are above the stables. Here, you'll find another Bazooka and a Medkit. Grab the Medkit, remember where the Bazooka is located, and then head back to the open window by the stairs and go down.
Be careful, because two more enemies have come into the Farmhouse in the room to the right. Kill them and then head back to the Christmas Tree. Look at your Map, you'll be heading North to the last Artillery Position. There are about a half dozen enemies in the area. Be careful, take cover, and pick them off when you see them. Also be aware that an enemy may be firing down on you from the Farmhouse (how he got up there, I don't know, seeing as you just cleared it out). Anyway, go up to the third Artillery Position and Set a Charge to Destroy it. Grab the Revive Icon.
Explore the nearby out buildings for two Medkits. Head back into the Farmhouse and go back to the stables where you originally entered the Farmhouse. Find the staircase going down and Set a Charge on the door to blast it open. Go in and you'll see Freder Engel and the French Operative. Chuck any Grenades that you have at Freder. Then, take cover and fire on him until he is dead. Grab the Virus House Location intel near his dead body. Note, there is another Bazooka here.

You have entered the last segment of this battle. It is extremely difficult, especially if you run through like a maniac without any plan. You have to kill lots of enemies and two Tanks as they attack the Farmhouse. In fact, once you destroy the two Tanks, the mission will end. There are several ways to accomplish this task, but I have found a fairly bullet proof way after trying many times. First, why not review the three places where there are Bazookas? 1) In the SW corner of the Map, inside the shed. 2) On the upper balcony of the stables, accessed by going out onto the roof via the open window, at the top of the stairs in the Farmhouse. 3) In the basement area of the stables where you just found the French Operative and Freder Engel.
You are in the basement of the Stables where you found the French Operative and Freder Engel. There is a Bazooka here. Trade in your Sniper Rifle for the Bazooka. Next, run outside using the back window, and go to the SW shed where there is more Bazooka Ammo. If you encounter any enemies, deal with them, but if you use the back window, you should be okay. (You could have grabbed this Bazooka before going into the basement to save you a bit of time.)
Go back into the Stables and work your way through the Farmhouse. You want to get to the stairs so that you can go out on the roof and into the upper area (balcony) of the Stables. Getting to the stairs is challenging as there will be many enemies blocking your path. Use your Machine Gun to mow them down and go up the stairs, out the window at the top of the stairs, along the roof, and then into the window of the stables.
You'd think that enemies wouldn't be able to find you up here, what with the broken ladder and the sneaky entrance via the roof. But, alas, there will be enemies who do find you here. At this point, you should have at least 8 Bazooka rounds (there's more up here if you need them) and you are armed with your Machine Gun. Put your back to the front wall of the farmhouse and watch and wait for enemies to find you. Shoot them as soon as they enter the window. For fun, you can use the Stationary Machine Gun to pick off some enemies below, but always watch your back.
Keep peeking out the front window to see where the Tanks are located. They will come one after the other. As soon as you see the first one come into the yard below, equip your Bazooka and fire down at it. It'll take four shots. In between shots, check the back window to make sure that more enemies haven't found you. Wait for the second Tank to drive up and destroy it to finish the mission.
Note: I tried many different ways of accomplishing this last objective. I did have success running down to the mill and using the Red Plunger road explosives on the first Tank and then using the Bazooka on the second. If you try this (or any other method), you'll see how difficult it is due to the fact that there are dozens of enemies firing on you. You have to be really good or really lucky to do an all out frontal attack, running into the heart of the battle. Using the method above, going into the balcony of the stables, provides you with good cover, a slow stream of enemies, and a good vantage point to fire down on the Tanks.
This is your final mission and it will test your patience and your skill. You may break a controller or two out of frustration. The first half of this level will have you charging enemy trenches and bunkers, destroying Tanks, and otherwise just running around wildly. The second half of this level takes place inside the Bunker. You are chasing after Schrader and you are timed. Man is this mean or what? You'll start with a Thompson Machine Gun and an M1 Rifle. You'll quickly dump your rifle for the Bazooka and as soon as you can get a German StG44, I recommend taking it, unless you really like the Thompson for some reason.
From the start, turn right (face North) grab the Medkit, go to the Bazooka, trade it for your Rifle, and then continue to the Stationary Machine Gun. Man the Machine Gun and mow down the many oncoming enemies. Then, head right again (grab the Medkit by the radio) and you'll find a rocket unit. Hit the Red Plunger to activate the rockets thus destroying the nearby Tank.
Pick off any other enemies in the area and head West towards the Green Smoke. Near the Green Smoke is a bunker with a Medkit and the Radio you need to use to call in the Airstrike. Do so and then take cover in the bunker. Make sure to grab the Revive Icon at back of the bunker.

Before continuing West into the chaos that it is, run around the area and collect any Medkits or Ammo that you find. Be wary for any straggling enemies. When you feel satisfied, take a deep breath, gather your bravery, and move to the South edge of the Map. Once your are about as far South as you can go, head West. Take cover at each and every sandbag, tree, or crater. In one of the craters you'll find a Medkit. As you approach the Machine Gun Nest and the trenches, be extra careful...you don't want to lose a life here needlessly.
With the Machine Gun Nest in sight, probably from the deep crater in front of it, crouch, aim, and pop up to kill the enemy manning the Machine Gun Nest. Then, kill any enemy to the right who is in the trench. Run to the trench and take cover.
Take a look at your Map. You'll see a big looping road. You are just East of that road, on the South side. The three Tiger Tanks are set up very near to you. You need to get behind them to blow them up. The only problem is, there is another line of trenches behind the Tanks, with many Stationary Machine Guns.
Again, take a look at your Map. Note the three dark rectangles lining the Southern part of the road. These are your three Tanks. Between the two Southern-most tanks, you'll see a Dark Line indicating a trench between them. Run North to the trench, where you'll be in between the two Southern Tanks. Crouch and take cover. There is a Medkit in this trench. Work your way West, through the trench and peek out onto the road.
On the other side of the road you'll notice that there are many Stationary Machine Guns firing at you. While still crouching, peek out around the trench opening and begin to pick off the various enemies firing at you. At this point, you don't have to worry about the three entrenched Tiger Tanks because they won't fire backwards at you, however, there may be two other Tanks prowling the area that you need to be alert to.
Once you feel you have the other side of the road fairly cleared out, run up to the trenches where the Stationary Machine Guns were firing on you. Clear out any remaining enemies, explore the back path of the trench which leads to two enemies and a Medkit, and then work your way North, along the trench, making sure everybody is dead, and grabbing the many Bazooka Ammos.
When all is quiet, except for perhaps a roaming Tank (if it's bothering you, blow it up, although try to keep at least 6 rounds for later), go to the back of each of the three entrenched Tiger Tanks and Set a Charge on each one. After they all blow up, be sure to grab the Revive Icon on the road, behind one of the Tanks.

Work your way North along the road until you see one of your fellow soldiers waving you down at the corner. He tells you to "Follow Us". Follow the dirt path to the snow-covered hill which is covering the barbed wire. You can run up and over this hill in order to get past the barbed wire. The snow-covered hill is next to a large tree where there are probably a few soldier taking cover.
Cross over the hill and run zig-zagging, directly East until you can take cover in one of the trench/bunkers where you'll find Bazooka Ammo. You may be full on Bazooka Ammo. If that's the case, great. Remember where this ammo is located because you'll be coming back for it after you use some on the next Tank.
At this point, go almost as far North as you can. You'll find a crater with two Bazookas inside. Take cover in the crater. From this crater and the next one you can take cover and start to pick off the enemies in the trenches to the West. You'll also see/hear a Tank firing on you. After you pick off a few of the enemies, paying particular attention to the Machine Gun Nests, find the Tank and fire three shots at it to destroy it.
Head toward the now destroyed Tank, taking cover in the trenches. From the trenches, pop up and fire on the Machine Gun Nests. When the Machine Gun nests are cleared, go the Northern-most nest. Now, go South one nest to find Von Schrader's Journal inside.
There will be several more Tanks in the area, but you needn't worry about them. Clear out any enemies causing you an immediate threat and then work your way up the hill, following the road. There will be a Tank at the top of the road, but don't worry because a few planes will swoop in and bomb it for you. Carefully go up the road, paying attention to the left side. Two enemies will fire on you. Kill them. Then, take cover behind the destroyed Tank and peek out to the right. In front of you, by the stacked crates are two more enemies. Lean out and kill them.
Move forward and you'll see the bunker's defenses go into action. There is a Stationary Machine Gun on each side. Take cover behind the crates, or sandbags, and peek out and fire on one of the Machine Guns. Keep your aim on it because two more enemies will man it, for a total of three kills per side. Do the same for the other side. When both sides are cleared out, go up to the door and Set a Charge on it to blow it open.

Here's where the second half of the mission starts...and boy, is it nasty. At this point I have 3 Medkits and 4 Revives. As soon as the door blows open, have a Grenade ready. Throw it down the hallway. Take cover behind the doorway and peek around the corner and start to shoot the enemies manning the Stationary Machine Gun at the end of the hallway. Again, several enemies will take control of it in succession. When all appears quiet, throw one more Grenade down the hall.
Run down the hall until you almost get to the Machine Gun, then quickly, turn around and head back to the position you were just in. This will trigger a second set of enemies to come and fight in the same way as the first, except you'll have a few peeking around the corner near the Machine Gun. Dispose of them. Once this second wave of enemies is dead, there will be a third set, but they are a tad different. Instead of charging in and running back out to trigger them, charge in and get behind the Machine Gun. Two enemies will rush in. If you are standing to either side of the door, you can easily gun them down.
In the next room, there are several enemies taking cover behind an overturned table. Instead of rushing in there, toss a Grenade or two into the room and then peek around the corner to make sure they are dead. If not, kill them however you like. In the overturned table room, head left into the small side room and grab the Medkit.
Here's where this mission gets really nasty. You will be timed once you go through the next doorway. This means that you need to be patient and quick. In other words, move forward at a decent pace, taking cover where you can, and kill as soon as an enemy pops out. If you have an Adrenaline Ready, DO NOT use it until the end.
Go through the doorway. A metal door will drop locking you into this area. Move forward, along the right wall and an enemy will pop his head out from around the corner. Shoot him. Another enemy will charge you. Kill him. Turn the corner of the hallway and shoot the two enemies on the left and the one on the right. As soon as you kill this fifth enemy, on the right, equip your Bazooka. Look down the hallway, there is at least a half dozen enemies charging you. Fire a Bazooka round into the middle of them to do some mega damage. Kill any survivors with your Machine Gun and then immediately take cover. Note: Make sure that you have at least two Bazooka rounds for the end of this level.
At this point, you'll get the Eliminate Von Schrader objective and you'll see another group of enemies charging you. Quickly switch back to your Bazooka and fire another shot into the heart of the enemies, hopefully getting a piece of Von Schrader.
At this point, I have approximately half of my time remaining. Steadily move forward killing any enemies who remain. You'll see a staircase on your left. Before you go up, grab the Medkit to the right. Move up the stairs.
You may want to take a quick breather, refresh your memory on the buttons so you don't make a silly mistake, and get ready for the last thing you have to do in this game.
As soon as you go through the door at the top of the stairs, the door will shut and you'll be trapped in this area. What you need to do is fire two or three Bazooka rounds at Von Schrader who will be manning the Stationary Machine Gun above the red Nazi flag up above and to the right of you.

This is easier said than done. First, you need an Adrenaline. If you don't have one, make sure that you have lots of Medits ready to go. When you're ready, step through the door, aim your Bazooka at the Stationary Machine Gun above the Nazi flag, and then activate your Adrenaline. Within a second or two, you'll see Von Schrader (Red Cross above his head) take control of the Machine Gun. Aim at his head and fire a Bazooka round. You'll notice that there are several enemies rappelling down over the wall. If you hit one of them instead of a direct hit on Von Schrader, it won't do as much damage.
It took me three shots. The first was a direct hit, the second hit an enemy rappelling, and the third, another direct hit. I had just enough Adrenaline to get three shots off. As soon as you get confirmation that Von Schrader has been killed, the door you came through has re-opened. Go in, up the stairs (hey, where did those stairs come from?), run through the hall to the control panel and hit the switch to stop the dirty bomb. The mission will end and all will be well.
Note: I didn't encounter any enemies going up the stairs to the control panel, but be aware there may be a few. Also, if you fail to kill Von Schrader with the initial barrage of Bazooka rounds you'll have one heck of a time surviving. It seems like an endless stream of enemies are coming at you from all directions. My best advice is to keep the Medkits flowing and do your best to kill Von Schrader with whatever gun you have. Stay near the door. Once you kill Von Schrader, run through the door as quickly as possible and then finish the mission.
