Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End Walkthrough (PS2 and Wii)

Welcome to the Lunabean Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World's End walkthrough and strategy guide for the PS2 and the Wii. The guide itself is written referencing PS2-specific controls. If you're playing on the Wii, simply match the PS2 actions to the Wii controllers. There aren't very many buttons/controls in the game, so it won't be very hard.

The online version of this walkthrough contains most, but not all, of the sub-missions. If you want all sub-missions explained, including all Crab Pendants, Pirate Dice, Destroy Targets, and the Gold Idol, then you're going to have to buy the guide or get a LunaPass, which is awesome. It also contains an explanation of the Challenge Mode, Dueling, and the Treasure Cove.

When it comes to getting the Combo Hit and Loot sub-missions for each mission, you'll have to do that on your own. I can tell you where a good opportunity is when it comes to getting the combo, but I can't play the game for you. In general, when attempting to get the Combo Hit Count use your combos, crazy, I know. Also note that you can block, you just can't be hit, or that restarts the combo count. As for loot, again, I'll point out the obvious places loot can be found, but in general, the more pirates you defeat, the more loot you'll have.

And with that...on with the game, savvy?

Time to escape from prison! Move down the hall slashing at barrels with your quick and heavy attack (X and Square on the PS2). You'll soon be told that you use items with R1. You can select the item you want to use by pressing any direction on the D-Pad. Up is a bomb. Down is a turkey (health). Left is a pistol. Right is a throwing knife. At this point, all you have is a turkey. If you take damage, select it and use it.

Head down the stairs and follow the arrow under your feet to the cell. Talk to the prisoners by pressing Triangle when prompted. You'll be told about your two attacks and the Grab button (O). You are also given your first combo: X, X, O.

You'll then be thrown into battle. Defeat the two enemies and then approach the cell again. Press Triangle when prompted to open the cell door, thus freeing the prisoners (1/4).

Not far from the cell, and to the left of it, you'll find a yellow marker. Step into the marker and hit Triangle when prompted. You'll end up on the catwalk above. Head right to the last cell and hit Triangle to talk to and free the prisoners (2/4).

After they thank you, backtrack a tad and step into the yellow marker. Hit Triangle to swing to the bridge. Here you'll learn about blocking with L1. Hold it to defend yourself. You'll be attacked by an enemy. You can perform a Counter Attack to defeat him (you'll be using this extensively throughout the game). To do so, hold L1. When you see the enemy attack with his sword, hit X. If you time it right (hit X when he lunges at you), you'll do an unblockable counter attack that will greatly damage the enemy. Repeat this process until he is defeated.

Continue forward along the bridge and approach the cell at the end to get a tip about the armory and all of its treasure...thanks old man! Go ahead and free him (3/4) and then climb down the nearby ladder. Head to the right and go up the stairs. When you see the stairs switch back, continue up them to meet an enemy (don't continue to the right). Defeat the enemy, open the door and enter the cannon room. In the back left you'll find a yellow marker. Use it to place a cannon in position. Fire the cannon to bust open a door.

Enter the room and go up the ladder. At the top you'll find a room with many crates. Destroy them for a good deal of loot. When you're done in here, use the zip line to get back down to the ground (this is where you would have ended up had you continued right up the stairs). Activate the switch to open the door and go through.

You'll find yourself on an outdoor bridge. There are three enemies. This is the perfect time to use the Ole move. While holding L1 (blocking), move right or left when you're being attacked to perform a dodge move, aka, an Ole. Because you're on a bridge, the enemy who misses you will fall off of the bridge, thus easily defeating him and counting towards the sub-mission task of defeating four enemies with an Ole move. In this manner, you can easily rack up three ole moves without having to attack once.

After those three enemies are Ole-ed, you'll face off with a more difficult enemy. Use the counter attack mentioned earlier to easily defeat him. Continue to the right and you'll soon find a zip line. Use it. At the bottom, before going through the doorway, go up the stairs to the left. At the top you'll find a room with a great deal of loot (the armory that the old man mentioned?). When you're done, head back down the stairs and go through the doorway.

You'll encounter your first Jackanism. This is an enhanced action sequence, aka, push the right buttons and move the control stick as indicated. If you do this successfully, you'll earn a reward in the form of a Notoriety bonus and the Pirate Dice Charm Card 01. You only have one chance to do it, however. If you want another crack at it, you'll have to replay the level. The game explains how it works, so pay attention and then get ready for it.

If you do it correctly, you'll take out the enemies who attack. If you don't, then you'll have to fight the enemies the old fashioned way. Either way, after the enemies are defeated, head over to the fireplace and activate the switch to partially lower a chain bridge. There are two other switches in this room. Locate them and activate them to lower the bridge all the way. Then, go through the doorway and cross the bridge.

You'll soon encounter another cell. Activate the switch to free the prisoners (4/4). Head down the stairs and enter the boss arena.

Boss Fight - Warden

The Warden isn't too tough, particularly if you can use the environment to your advantage. By that, I mean the cannons and the falling cages. You'll note that there are a multitude of yellow markers. When the Warden is in, or near, the middle of the area, activate any of these markers to fire a cannon or drop a cage on him. If you miss, don't fret. Just try again. You can also try using your Pistol to shoot the ropes of the falling cages.

If you're not having much success with this method, then feel free to attack him using your regular attacks. Note, however, that for more powerful enemies, like the Warden, your block technique has a limit. It is represented by the three tokens below your health meter. Each attack that you block will take off 1/4 of a token. These tokens regenerate, but be aware that you can't infinitely block and get away with it.

When it comes to attacking him, feel free to use any bombs you have. However, you'll primarily want to use the good ol' counter attack. Again, this will take some practice as the timing is key: while blocking (hold the L1 button), wait for him to start his attack (a lunge at you). As soon as you see that attack, press the X button to counter attack. This will result in a nice two-slash attack that does a good deal of damage.

Finally, this may be the first time that you have to keep an eye on your health. Your health is indicated by the number next to the heart in the upper left of the screen. If you get low on health, select a turkey (down on the D-Pad), and press R1 to use it. This adds 30 points of health.

After the Warden is defeated, activate the switch and go through the gate. Head down the stairs, defeat the enemy, and then use the gunpowder barrel to destroy the door. Go through.

You are outside again on a thin strip of rock. Three enemies attack; another perfect opportunity to use your Ole attack...watch as they go flying off of the rock. After they're defeated, head to the end of the rock to finish the chapter.

Challenge Mode Location

You'll notice that you have ditched Jack and are now playing as Will Turner. All of the controls are the same. From the start, defeat the six enemies and then slash open the hanging cage to free a crew member (1/9). Continue left, defeat the enemy, and rescue another crew member (2/9).

Backtrack and go across the only suspension bridge you can, defeating the savage who is blocking your path using the counter attack. On the other side, fight the enemies. When they're defeated it's time to do a little crew rescuing. Head to the top of the screen, between the two huts. Follow the path to a crew member (3/9). Backtrack. Then, head down the path to the left of the huts to find another one (4/9). Backtrack. Head along the path to the right of the huts to find yet another crew member (5/9).

At this point, go ahead and cross the suspension bridge to the right. It'll be chopped down and you'll end up on a lower level. If you need to get back up (say to rescue somebody you left behind) you can climb up the bridge like a ladder. Otherwise, continue along the path. Take note of, but don't climb up, the ladder that you'll soon pass. Instead, continue to the right where you'll find another crew member (6/9). Cross the nearby suspension bridge to locate another crew member (7/9).

Backtrack to the ladder you passed earlier and climb up. At the top you'll encounter a savage. It's a good time to use the Ole move if you want. Then, slide down the zip line. At the bottom head to the fire pot and note the crew member above it. Don't rescue him yet. Instead, head to the top of your screen between the two huts to locate another crew member (8/9). Free him and then backtrack to the final crew member (9/9) above the fire. Free him and you'll spawn the Savage Lady.

Boss Fight - Savage Lady

To defeat the Savage Lady you have to use the Ole move to make her go into the pot. Then, Jack will toss a coconut down on her head. You need to do this three times, defeating the wave of enemies (a good time to do the Ole move as well) who spawn in between each successful Ole.

To do the Ole easily, stand in front of the pot. Press and hold your block button (L1). When the Savage Lady charges you, move in either direction and you'll dodge her. She'll end up in the pot and Jack will do his thing. Do this three times and you'll get a cutscene.

After the cutscene, you'll be on a bridge and will get an action button sequence. Hit the buttons in the order you are shown to defeat the enemies.

After another cutscene, you'll end up on a raft floating down the river. Simply beat up the enemies as they come at you. When you get stuck on the rocks, look for the three yellow markers (one after the other) and activate them to jump, thus rocking the raft and freeing it. When the raft gets stuck on the tree branches, slash at the three branches on the right of the raft to break them. Note, while on the raft is a great time to get that 15 hit combo.

At the beginning of this level, you'll be told about Stealth Points. These take the familiar form of the yellow marker on the ground. You'll soon use one, but for now, head to the bottom left corner of the dock and speak to the man with the "!" over his head. He is a prisoner whom you rescued and will give you loot as a reward.

After that, head to the right where you'll encounter your first Stealth Point (1/4). Hit the Triangle button when prompted to take out the soldier in a whimsical fashion...ahh barrels. Continue right for a Jackanism (reward: Red Coat). If you do it successfully, you won't have to fight any soldiers. If you fail, fight the soldiers. Either way, afterwards, talk to the lady with the "!" over her head. She asks that you help her. This is the "Missing Person" sub-mission.

Continue right, over the bridge and talk to the man with the "!" over his head for the "Rum Raid Part 1" sub-mission. Continue right and enter town. You'll see a Wanted Poster (1/3) on the wall. Tear it down. Continue into the town and follow the Red Coat. He'll stop and create a stealth point. Use it to take him out (2/4). At this point, note the soldier in blue. Stay away from him but keep your eye on him. When he starts to walk, follow him. He'll stop in front of a lady and talk to her. This initiates another Stealth Point (3/4).

The area is now clear of soldiers. Locate the Inn Keeper, the guy with the "!" over his head. Talk to him and keep him in conversation, by feigning interest, in order to complete the "Rum Raid Part 1" mission. Note, if you want 200 loot instead, then tell the Inn Keeper the plan and he'll reward you.

Once that is finished, head to the left to find Tia Dalma, the voodoo woman. Talk to her and you'll be given a long list of objectives to complete. You'll also have an arrow to follow, how convenient. Follow the arrow along the road (you'll pass another Wanted Poster (2/3)). Continue right, following the red coat. When he stops it'll create another Stealth Point (4/4). Take him out using it.

Just up the alley from the stealth point is the woman's husband, inconspicuously labeled with an "!" over his head. You can either keep his secret or tell him his wife wants him back. If you keep his secret, he'll reward you with 100 loot and you'll complete the objective. You can then go back and tell the wife that he is cheating and she'll give you another 100 loot. If you tell him to honor his vow, then head back to his wife to tell her you found him and she'll give you 100 loot and you'll also complete the objective.

After dealing with the husband, keep heading right and you'll soon enter the courtyard with the stocks where you'll need to perform the various actions told to you by Tia Dalma. It doesn't matter in which order you do the objectives, but the thing you don't want to do is raise the alarm by letting the soldier ring an alarm bell. You can avoid the soldiers by sticking close to the wall and not walking in the middle of the area.

From where you enter the courtyard, head down and then right, sticking close to the wall. You'll soon come to a switch. Activate it to close the door (1/2). Continue along the wall and close the other door (2/2). Grab the Wanted Poster (3/3) and then set the explosives near the barrel (1/3). Continue right, work your way along the stairs, and then along the wall. Follow the wall around and you'll run into two more explosive barrels (2/3) and (3/3).

You've done everything but weaken the supports and free the Prisoners. Backtrack along the wall and when you get to the steps, go up them and through any of the arches. Follow this inside path around to the prisoners. Free them using the two switches.

Head back outside and watch out for any guards. Stick to the wall and make your way into the crowd throwing stuff at Capt. Chevalle, the pirate who is in the stocks. Wait for a guard to go by and then stick to the platform and work your way to the corner where you'll see a yellow circle. Activate it to weaken the supports (1/2). Again, wait for a guard to go by (just keep up against the platform and don't go out in the middle of the area) so he doesn't see you and then go to the next corner to weaken the supports (2/2). This will free Capt. Chevalle, the Pirate Lord.

ALTERNATIVELY, you can just go ahead and take on the guards in the area. To do this, find a red coat and attack him. This will begin a little mini-battle where you have to keep one red coat and one blue coat away from the bell. Focus on the red coat first, then defeat the blue coat. Repeat this for the other guard in the area. After you have defeated all four guards the area is clear and you have free reign.

Lastly, you have to fight your way back to the Black Pearl. There is nothing tricky about beating the soldiers as you backtrack. Remember to use your counter attack. When you arrive at the docks the Governor will stop you. Afterwards, you have to make your way along the dock, but you have to wait for the crates blocking your path to be blow up by your ship. Stand near each set of crates, fight the soldiers (the Ole move works well), and as soon as each set of crates is destroyed, continue to the next set. Also, this is a good time to try to get the Combo sub-mission.

If you take too long, the ship will sail away without you (look for the timer to appear in the upper middle of your screen). When you get to the end of the docks, go up the ramp and locate the yellow circle. Activate it to end the level.

From the start you have to protect Will. He's at the back of the ship, up the stairs. Don't let any enemies get to him and you'll be fine. To do this, fight like a mad pirate and use any bombs or pistols that you want. Or, just stand by him and attack anybody who nears. After fighting for three or four minutes, you'll tell Will to get a move on. Note, during the initial fight is a good time to try to get the 20 hit combo.

After the cutscene, you'll be playing as Will. Defeat the enemies in the room and then push the cannon to create a hole in the floor. You'll automatically drop down. In this new area, defeat the enemies, move to the left, and locate the crate near the yellow circle. Activate it to push the crate under the ladder. More enemies will come out. Defeat them and then climb the crate and ladder.

You'll be in a room with cannons. Defeat the enemies and then free the four prisoners in the cells on the left. Before you head upstairs, break through the door on the right (slash at it) and you'll find a room full of crates. Next, head up the stairs. Defeat the enemies here and then head to the door on the right.

Boss Fight - Eel Man

This pirate is pretty easy, particularly if you use your counter attack. It'll only take five counter attacks to defeat him.

After he is taken care of, head right through the door, through the small hallway with the crates, and into the next room. If you are interested in the "Avoid Detection" sub-mission then you don't want to go any farther into this room. You see, there is a patrolling guard in here and if he sees you, you'll fail the submission. To avoid detection, simply go up the stairs which are up from you (don't run to the right past the bell) and then head right. You'll enter directly into the room where you will find Davy Jones' Key. If you don't care about the Avoid Detection sub-mission, then feel free to attack this patrolling guard.

After you get the key, fight the enemies, exit out, and do the action button sequence. You'll end up high up on the mast. Two enemies will attack, one after the other. Use your Ole move to quickly disperse with each of them. Next, use the zip line and defeat the enemy on the beam with you.

From the start, talk to the woman with the "!" over her head for a face slap (1/10). Head left and then up when you get to the "T" intersection (feel free to continue left to break open crates). You'll receive another face slap (2/10). Enter the courtyard, locate another two face slaps (3/10) (4/10), and then take on the two pirates. Continue through the courtyard and talk to the man with the "!" near the stairs. He was a prisoner whom you rescued and will reward you with 200 loot.

From him, continue left and you'll soon reach a second courtyard. Here there are two more face slaps to be had (5/10) (6/10). After that, locate the "!" man next to the pub door. Talk to him about rum and tell him it's best that you do the picking up, savvy? Then, tell him you'll protect the rum shipment.

Next, head into the pub. Get another face slap (7/10) and play some Pirate Poker if you like. Head through to the other side of the bar and exit. Turn right to get another face slap (8/10). Head back left and locate the "!" man near the fountain. Talk to him and inform him that you'll be making the delivery. You'll be attacked. Take out the dozen or so enemies and then talk again to the pub owner outside the front of the pub. He'll reward you with 500 loot.

Facing the pub owner, head left and go down the alleyway. You'll enter an inn. Head to the back of it, between the two sets of stairs, to find the final two face slaps (9/10) (10/10). Then, head to the left side of the inn to find a yellow marker near a rope. Activate it to get a fight started. To make this fight easier, battle on the balcony and use the Ole move to make the enemies fall over. After they're defeated the pirate lord will run away. Exit out.

Boss Fight - Pirate Lord

This boss has the most health of any boss you have yet faced: 500. This isn't really a big deal, though, as he's easy to beat. First, be on the lookout for any action button sequences. When you see a button prompt, perform it to do a good deal of damage. Otherwise, simply block and use your counter attack to mete out some damage. Near the end of the fight you'll get a Jackanism (reward Mistress Chang). Whether or not you fail it, finish off the Pirate Lord by following the action button sequence up on the railing.

Afterward, you'll meet up with Elizabeth and Will. You'll then have to fight your way back the Pearl. This isn't difficult, particularly due to the plenitude of turkeys found along the way in various crates.

From the start, there are two ways to get where you need to go. You can either go directly up the middle, following the path that Jack took, or you can go to the right and locate the yellow circle. If you go up the middle, you'll have to perform an action button sequence, and then get over some quicksand. Once you do, you can climb up some vines to get to the upper path. If you go to the right, you'll find a marker where you can climb up some vines. You'll then need to swing across various gaps while avoiding falling rocks.

Either way, you'll soon end up in an area with ancient ruins and will have to fight a variety of enemies. Pay particular attention to the pirates equipped with cannons as arms. You'll want to make sure that you're out of the way when they fire. Note, you can use the Ole move to force enemies into the river and into the various barrels scattered around the area.

After they're defeated, head to the left and bottom of your screen (follow the river down) to find a grass path leading down. Enter the river and fight your way across it, avoiding the logs as best as possible. When you've defeated all of the enemies, exit the river to the left and go up the path.

You'll be in a cemetery and will have to defend the buried treasure for 50 seconds (a sub-mission). You'll see a timer appear. If the two men digging the hole get attacked by a bomb, the timer will disappear meaning you failed the sub-mission. Not to worry if you don't care about the sub-mission. Just defeat the enemies in the area. If you do care about the buried treasure (and who doesn't?) then let yourself get killed and try again. This time, however, move as far right as possible to draw the enemies away from the digging. If you see an enemy make a break for the digging, go after him to prevent him from tossing a bomb in there. This can be difficult and frustrating, but there's no trick to doing it...just do it. (Alternatively, you may try standing directly next to the hole and taking on anybody that comes near...I had success both ways.)

When the enemies in this area are defeated, you'll end up playing as Elizabeth. Fight the enemy who attacks using the tried and true counter attack. Then, continue up to and enter the ruins. Fight the enemies until you get a cutscene and are returned to playing as Jack.

Boss Fight - Norrington

Ahh, the good ol' water wheel battle. Use your counter attack until you get him down to about 75 health points. At that point, you'll get a Jackanism (reward Pirate Poker Charm Card 06). This doesn't have any impact on the fight itself. Just continue to counter attack until you defeat Norrington.

Once you've repelled the enemies for 75 seconds you'll next have to survive the Kraken. Avoiding its tentacles isn't very hard, but avoiding the falling debris can be a pain. Once the timer runs out for Kraken, head to the left and down the stairs (the arrow will guide you). Break open some crates for a few turkeys and then note the three cannons. To prevent this, attack the tentacle while the cannon is being loaded. Once the cannon is loaded, go the yellow maker and fire the cannon. Be sure to fire it when Kraken's mouth is open or it won't count. Repeat this process for the other two cannons.

Welcome to Singapore. You'll be playing as Captain Barbossa. Head to the right and talk to the "!" pirate, an old enemy (1/5). Then, head to the left and talk to the "!" here. This is a debtor (1/3). Collect your money. Head left and you'll soon get to an up extension of the boardwalk. Follow it, pass the "!" pirate where you can play Pirate Dice and continue up along the path. You'll soon reach an old enemy (2/5). After you talk to him, return to the main path and keep heading left. When you get to the corner platform, locate the "!" pirate in the lower right corner. Talk to him to collect your debt (2/3). Continue along the path and you'll see another "!" pirate. Collect your debt (3/3) from him.

Proceed along the boardwalk. It'll soon end and you'll be on some cobblestone. Right where the cobblestone begins is a house with a ladder on the right of it. Climb up the ladder and follow the balcony to the left, around to another old enemy (3/5). Climb back down and then head along the path. You'll run into another old enemy (4/5). He is not far from a reddish lit doorway. Go through the doorway.

Inside you'll find two "!" pirates. The one on the right is an old enemy (5/5), the other one is Sao Feng's guard. After you talk to him you'll have to fight. This is a good place to get the 15 hit combo. Also note that you can Ole enemies into the water barrels. This fight will bounce back and forth between the upstairs balcony and the lower level. Between each round you are given a timer. Don't worry about it. Just follow your arrow and position yourself so that the timer disappears (this means that you'll need to be near your crew mate who is also fighting). After all of the enemies are defeated you'll be launched into a boss fight.

Boss Fight - The Ladies Feng

There is nothing special here, just use your counter attack. If you see an action button prompt, do it. After they're defeated, you'll have to battle some British soldiers. Do so until you get a cutscene.

You'll now be playing as Elizabeth. Exit the house and fight the soldier. This is a good time to do some Oles. After they're defeated, head down the boardwalk ramp and you'll have to fight another round of soldiers. Again, use lots of Oles to send them off of the dock. After they're defeated, head along the path, use the yellow marker to fire a firework, and then fight the red coat. Repeat this. Then, fire a third firework and watch as the small boat comes to you. Wait at the edge of the boardwalk to get the yellow marker and then use it to cross the gap.

You'll have one more battle to fight. This time, keep an eye out on the exploding barrels. Watch as the fuse is lit. You'll see the little sparks come up as the flames get nearer to the barrels. If they blow up, you fail. You'll need to stamp out the flames by looking for yellow markers. Keep fighting until you get a cutscene which ends the level.

You'll find yourself on a beach. Time to sit back with a tall drink, soak in some sun, and watch out for ghost pirate hands reaching up from the ground! In order to avoid these hands, move to the right, sticking to the rock path. Fight some ghost pirates and then enter the whale skeleton (rib cage). At the end of the rib cage, attack the final rib to create a path for you, a small wooden platform. Take the platform and then drop down the small ledge.

Continue moving to the right and fight the ghost pirates that you encounter. When they're taken care of, move along the path until you get to the sand. Here you'll have to perform an action button sequence. This one is tad different. What you have to do is hit "X" when the "X" icon is at the top of the line, inside the brackets. Do that successfully and you'll make another path for yourself. Follow it, fight the ghost pirates, and do another action button sequence to get to the next section of path.

Move to the right until you encounter yet another group of ghost pirates. After you defeat them, you'll get an arrow pointing you to a rope hanging down and a yellow marker. Go to it and activate it to climb the rope (you do need to push up to climb).

You'll end up on the back of a ruined ship. Fight the ghost pirates and then walk along the fallen mast to the left. You'll soon be on the spine of the whale skeleton. At the end of it, fight the ghost pirate and then activate the yellow marker to pull down a plank for you to proceed. Cross it to get to the front of another ruined ship. Fight the enemies and then head down the stairs to find a yellow marker near a rope. Activate it to climb the rope. Do so and you'll find yourself high up on the mast. You'll also find a zip line. Zip down it.

Upon landing, move up to find another yellow marker. Do the action button prompt to make a new path for you, a fallen mast going down. At the bottom you'll find Jack and you'll get a cutscene.

When play resumes, you'll be Jack, balancing on the side of a ship. You'll see a meter which reads 0/6. This is the number of enemies that you can't allow to get to Barbossa, who is behind you. As enemies climb up, slash at them to knock them off. After you do that successfully you'll be prompted to do a Jackanism (reward: Pirate Poker Charm 09). This one is quite easy. If you succeed, you'll get a cutscene. If you fail, you'll have to keep knocking enemies off of the side of the ship until you get the cutscene.

In this next section of the level, you'll be playing as Jack in an underground cavern. There's nothing tricky here. Just make your way along the path, fight enemies when you get to them, and do the action button sequences to avoid boulders. You'll eventually get to the end of the path. Activate the yellow marker to free the Pirate Lord from his bone cage. Now, fight your way back. After three battles you'll get a cutscene ending the mission.

Welcome to yet another sea battle. Fight enemies until the door on the right of the ship opens. Go through and fight the enemies inside. After they're defeated, exit back out to the deck of the ship.

Boss Fight - Sao Feng

You'll now be playing as Elizabeth. If you want to accomplish the "Don't Take a Hit" sub-mission, it is during this fight that you cannot take a hit. From the start, make sure you're holding down your block button. In fact, for this entire fight you'll be holding down the block button. And how do you defeat Sao Feng? That's right, the counter attack. If you get any action button sequences, perform them, but otherwise, just keep counter attacking until his health is almost gone and you get a cutscene.

Hey, congrats. You are now a pirate lord. You'll start off on the deck of the Empress. Fight the enemies and when the cannons fire at you, locate any orange area (like behind the right side stairs). The orange indicates a safe place to stand. Continue to repeat this process until you are blown below deck.

Now below decks, fight the enemies and when they're defeated, head to the left and use the yellow marker to blow open the door on the right. Fight more enemies and make your way to the next room on the right. You'll find a staircase. Go up. Fight more enemies and exit out for a cutscene to end the level.

Head to the left and grab the rum from the "!" pirate. Continue left and you'll eventually get to Teague. He tells you that you need to find a Pirate Lord. On either side of him you can play some Pirate Dice and some Pirate Poker if you so choose.

Otherwise, facing Teague, head left and you'll get to a pirate guarding the Pirate Lord. Fight him using, yes, the counter attack, and then go past where he was standing. Enter the building and activate the yellow marker. This Pirate Lord has had a few too many tasty beverages. As he meanders his way back to the pirate conclave, you'll have to protect him and create paths for him anytime that you see a yellow marker. The yellow markers are spawned by defeating enemies, so the quicker you defeat the enemies, the sooner you'll get the yellow marker. If you take too long, the Pirate Lord will fall into the water and you'll have to try again. The best way to take out the enemies quickly is to use Ole moves and/or the Square, Square, O, combo.

After you successfully usher the pirate lord to the conclave, Teague will give you a Doubloon which you need to give to the "!" pirate near the mermaid. Head right and you'll soon come upon him. Talk to him, and then fight him. After he and his friend are defeated, go up to the door which they were guarding. Activate the yellow marker on the stairs to kick open the door. Enter, head right up the ramp, and then use the zip line.

You'll end up at a zip line intersection of sorts as you'll have three path to take; left, middle, and right. Take the middle (upper) zip line first, fight the pirates in the area where you land. Then, head up the steps to the right. Here you'll find the Pirate Lord. The only problem is there are more enemies and the place is rigged to blow. Go to each of the three powder kegs and use the yellow marker to kick each one away. Defeat the enemies and then free the Pirate Lord using the yellow marker behind him.

After he's free, head left, back down the stairs. Here, you'll get a Jackanism (reward Wench 1). Continue to backtrack to the left, ride the zip line you encounter and then climb the rope back up to the zip line intersection (you've now discovered that the left yellow marker is simply the rope you just used to get back up here).

Take the right side zip line and you'll end up on the dock near where you began this level. Head left, fight the pirates, and then enter the conclave (this is done automatically when you near it).

After the cutscene you'll be playing as Barbossa. Head left, fight the pirates who come up the stairs to attack you, and then head down the stairs. Fight the pirates here, fire the cannon, and then head back up the stairs. Cross over the mast you just felled (some planks lead up to it) and fight the pirates on the other side. On this new ship, head right and then down the stairs. Follow the path and you'll end up on a rowboat.

Fight the enemies on the rowboat using...anybody...anybody...yes, the counter attack. After that you'll get a cutscene which will end the level.

This is a very difficult mission, so don't get frustrated. It will take many attempts to get it as a good deal of it is luck (ie, not getting sucked up by a tornado).

You'll start out playing as Elizabeth. You have to fight pirates until you get a timer and an arrow pointing you to the next fight. While you fight pirates you'll have to avoid the lightning strikes which first form as white circles on the deck of the ship. When you see one of these circles appear, run away from it. Once you see the timer, head to the yellow marker to swing across to the other ship.

On this new ship, head right and then down the stairs. Locate your crew mate and fight near him. If you don't stay near him, you'll see the timer reappear meaning you are too far away. While fighting, watch out for the tornadoes. If you get caught in one, you'll die. To avoid them, you simply have to move out of the way. This can be frustrating, however, I had a lot of success attacking the enemies in the area with the Square, Square, O, combo which kept me on the move enough so that the tornadoes didn't bother me.

After some time you'll get another arrow directing you to go up the stairs and to the right. Again, locate your crew mate a fight near him. Also, since you are now in tighter quarters, be extra wary of tornadoes. After a few minutes of fighting here you'll be directed to swing back over to the Pearl.

Upon landing back on the Pearl, move to the left of the screen. I say this because debris will fall down if you head down and to the right, instantly killing you. After you avoid this debris, head to the right (follow the arrow) and locate your crew mate. Fight near him until you get the cutscene. Phew. That only took 18 tries!

Boss Fight - Davy Jones

After the cutscene you'll have to duel Davy Jones, first as Will then as Jack and then as Will. Once again, use the tried and true counter attack and when/if you see any action button sequences, perform them (this will usually be of the rapidly-tap-the-button type). When you get his health down in the 100s, you'll get a Jackanism (reward: Pirate Poker Charm Card #12). Afterwards, you'll be Will. Continue to fight Davy Jones using counter attacks and you'll soon defeat him.

After the cutscene you'll be back on the Pearl, defending it from Becket and his men. Fight off the men until you get a cutscene of the ship firing at you. Take cover in any orange glowing area. Then, fight some more men but keep your eye on the two cannons. When you see a yellow marker appear next to each one, activate them.

This will fire two harpoons and draw Beckett's ship to you. When it crashes against your ship, Beckett (the guy dressed in the nice Royal Navy uniform) will spill over to the Pearl. Attack him. You'll then see him escape back to his ship, leaving you to do this all over again. I had to do this process three times before I got the cutscene ending the level and the game.
