Throne Room - Past

Watch the cutscene. The wall behind the Throne is cracked. Smash through it. You will also be given a new objective.

GOAL: FIND THE MASK (PRESENT)

OK, you just smashed through the wall. You'll be in a Warp Room. You'll think to yourself about how to use the Mask to force Kaileena to the present in order to make it so the Sands were never created or some such thing. Save at the SAVE FOUNTAIN - THE FACE OF TIME.

Activate the Portal. For me it was: near left, far right, far left, near right, but it may be different for you. Step into the portal. Upon traveling through you'll earn your final SAND TANK.

Sacred Caves - Present

Exit the Warp Room and enter the caves. Kill the Dogs (my name), Wall Run up the stone pedestal, kill the Dog here, then jump across to the wall platform. You'll see another Dog sticking to the wall. Wall Run right at it, slash it, then jump across to the other platform. Wall Run up the wall on this platform and you'll hang from a ledge. Pull yourself up, shimmy left, then jump to the doorway ledge.

Follow the path, drop into the murky water, find the angled ledge and shimmy up past the murky water. Jump to the large central platform and find the Dogs and Shadows. Then, jump to the next doorway. Enter to find a SAVE FOUNTAIN - THE FACE OF TIME (2).

Roll under the partially open door. Kill the Dogs then activate the Floor Switch, turn on a Slo-Mo, jump to the extended platform, then Wall Run along the wall until you see the black shadow of the column that you need to jump to. Jump to it when you reach the black shadow. Shimmy to the top of the column. Make it so that your back is facing the wall you just jumped from. Jump from the column and do a Wall-to-Wall jump up to the stone beam. Jump to the Bar with the hanging lantern and then swing, hit the Wall Switch which extends a platform, jump back to the Bar (you may want to use a Slo-Mo), swing back to the stone beam, walk to the end of it, jump to the extended platform, then Wall Run to the next Bar, swing, hit Wall Switch, jump to higher Bar, swing and jump to extended platform, Wall Run to next stone beam. Jump to the Wall Switch and back to the beam, use a Slo-Mo, shimmy around the beam and jump to the extended platform, then Wall Run around (going past the corner) and you'll grab a Bar. Swing on the Bar, jump to the angled column/wall then jump off the column/wall and you'll ride a Red Curtain down. Near the bottom of the Curtain, jump and you'll land on a solid piece of ground.

Here, fight the three Dogs and break through the cracked wall. Go through the hallway of the cracked wall and jump the gap. You will now find yourself in a higher up area of the room with the large central platform. If facing the door you just came out of, find the ledge on the square column to the left and Wall Run to it. Shimmy around to the other side and jump to the other platform and enter the hallway.

Follow the hallway which will dead-end at a place with bright light shining down and a Red Curtain. Jump to the Red Curtain, ride it down, and you'll be in the room with the MASK OF THE WRAITH. Approach it and you'll see that you have become the Sand Wraith that you kept seeing earlier in the game. You have become THE SAND WRAITH. Your sands of time regenerate but your life slowly fades away. In other words, use any time attack or feature, such as Slo-Mo all you want. The Sand in the Tanks will regenerate. Using lots of Slo-Mo also helps to slow down the loss of health that you're experiencing.

Kill all of the Dogs, then locate the Bar above you. Wall Run up the wall behind it and jump to the Bar. Swing and jump to the next Bar, swing and jump to the wall, jump from the wall to the column, from the column to the recessed wall ledge, drop down and shimmy various ledges, jump to "L" Beam, then walk to the hallway.

Roll under the blade poles, then to get past the spiked gap with the blade pole at the end, Wall Run the left wall, jump across to the platform and roll under the blade pole. Go through the arched doorway and hand down from the ledge. Shimmy right, get onto small Beam and quickly climb on it to avoid the lower saw blade. Jump to the next beam and hand from it to avoid the same lower saw blade. Jump to the next beam and shimmy right. Go past the wall blades and you'll enter a Warp Room!

Save at the SAVE FOUNTAIN - A SECOND CHANCE. Activate the portal: far left, near right, near left, far right, but it may be different for you. Step into the Portal. You will earn the CYCLONE OF FATE. This is the final upgrade to your special ground attack (breath of fate, wind of fate). While blocking, press and hold the Rewind/Slowdown-Button to perform this powerful attack.

Sacred Caves - Past

You'll notice that you have a new objective.

GOAL: RETURN TO THE ACCESS HALL (PAST)

Exit the Warp Room, go by the wall blades, and go out onto the Beam. Now both of the wall saws are active. Use a Slo-Mo to help you out here then jump to the next small Beam and the next one then to the other side of the wall, you'll be on a ledge. Shimmy around and go through the arched doorway. When the blade pole passes away from you, drop off and hang from the ledge of this gap. Shimmy around, then when the pole is away, Wall Run up to the ledge and shimmy to the end. Next, you have to jump across to the saw blade ledge. To get by these saw blades you'll have to hang then get up, then hang, all the while moving to where you need to go. Use a Slo-Mo if it helps you. Follow the hall, roll under the blade poles, jump the spike gap and you'll get to a SAVE FOUNTAIN - A SECOND CHANCE (2). Near this save fountain is an ARTWORK TREASURE CHEST (38).

Jump to the central platform.

Boss Fight - Wraith Bird

This bird isn't very tough. When it's on the platform it has two basic attacks: swipe with its tail or swipe with its front talons/paws. Don't worry too much about being hit as you should have enough Health to sustain you through this battle. Attack the bird's legs, preferably its back legs, using a Slo-Mo the entire time. When the bird goes into the air and swoops down on you, it is very easy to roll to either side to avoid it. Do this until it lands again, then Slo-Mo and go at until it dies.

After it dies, head to the lower brownish stone platform and pull yourself up. Facing the closed door, Wall Run up the right pillar, grab the ledge, shimmy around, then Wall-to-Wall jump up the columns to the next closed door and platform. Facing this door, jump to the left and grab the ledge. Shimmy around to the other side and jump to the ledge. Go through the doorway.

Face out over the room with the Red Curtain on your left and the upper wall on your right. Wall Run the upper right wall and jump to the Bar that it sticking out. Swing from the Bar to the Red Curtain, ride it down then jump from it to the Bar, then to the next Red Curtain. You will safely land on a ledge.

Go forward in the hallway and look for the wall blades. Use a Slo-Mo and Wall Run the left wall to get by the blades and over the gap. Wall Run up to the ledge, go by the saw blade then use another Slo-Mo to Wall Run up the ledge protected by the blade pole. Next, you have an immobile horizontal blade pole. To get by it, use the backside of the left column to Wall Run up then jump and you'll clear the blade pole. Follow the hall.

Garden Waterworks - Past

You are now outside. Go onto the lattice Beam, then jump across to the other lattice beam and you'll be on platform of a brownish/golden ramp. Go down the ramp for an ARTWORK TREASURE CHEST (39). Then, go up the ramp. You should recognize this area. This was the gate that you couldn't get through from the other side all that time ago when you were here last.

Step on the Floor Switch to raise the gate and go through. Kill the Red Sheiks and the Invisible Ninja and then go through the right door (if facing the building facade). Wall Run to the corner platform, then Wall Run past the saw blades. Exit to the small outdoor balcony, kill the Red Sheiks and Invisible Ninjas, then Wall Run around the wall, past the saw blades and grab the ladder (you did this routine before when the Dahaka was chasing you). Slide down the ladder then grab the ledge to your left, and drop down a few ledges and make your way to the next small balcony.

Garden Hall - Past

Go through the doorway and you'll be back to an inside hallway. Follow the path and go up the Ladder on the left, go up and jump to the Weight Switch. Slo-Mo and go under the door. Follow the path, then use the Bars to swing to the main balcony. From the center of the balcony, look toward the far wall to see the Crow Demon in the distance under the ornate stone half-sun. Wall Run on the left wall, grab the Rope, then Wall Run to the platform with the Crow Demon. Slash him.

Then, jump to the Ladder and slide down, then jump and slide down the next ladder. Kill the Red Sheiks and enter the Warp Room. Save at the Save Fountain then enter the Portal.

Garden Hall - Present

Exit the Warp Room and follow the path. Oh man! The Dahaka has found you. He tosses you down a well/pit. You are not left with much Health. Fortunately, you are standing in Water. Drink some. Roll by the traps in the water, hop up to the hallway, Wall Run along the left wall slashing the Red Ninja as she attacks, then kill the Demons.

Southern Passage - Present

Wall Run the right wall to the Rope then to the platform. Wall Run to the Red Curtain, slide down, then jump off to the platform. From this platform you can jump to the main bridge where the Demons are waiting for you. Kill the Demons and the Red Ninjas. Go to the rubble door and go up the ledge to the right. Using the pillar and the wall, Wall-to-Wall jump all the way up. Shimmy around to the central beam structure and walk out on it. A Red Ninja will drop in. Jump when she attacks then slash her. At the end of the beam you'll be facing a pillar/column. Jump up to grab onto a ledge and jump up one more ledge. Jump to the tree branch Bar behind you, swing to the ledge, shimmy and jump to the platform with the block.

Get on top of the stone block and Wall Run up then Wall-to-Wall jump up to the ledge where you'll see several Demons. Kill them, activate the Wall Switch, use a Slo-Mo and roll under the door. Go along the hall, get up to the small upper alcove on the left, Wall Run up to the ledge, and make your way up this vertical passage.

At the top, roll through the blade poles and spiked floor and you will reach a Warp Room. Save at the Fountain. Enter the Portal.

Sacrificial Altar - Past

Work your way past the traps and go down the vertical passageway (you've done this before) by dropping down from ledge to ledge. . At the bottom, continue down the octagonal vertical passageway dropping from Bar to Bar. Exit to the balcony, hop over the ledge, and jump to the pathway. Run along the pathway and about four Red Ninjas will drop in. You can also run to the Save Fountain if you like.

After you kill the four Red Ninjas, you'll see a cutscene of Shahdee returning to Kaileena and telling her that you (the Prince) as followed her (Shahdee). You will see yourself about ready to fight Shahdee to protect Kaileena. It's like in Harry Potter when Harry launches his own Patronus from a slightly different time. Anyway, after the cutscene you'll be in a slightly different area having jumped to the receding platform in the cutscene.

You are now in a hallway with traps. Wall Run over the stationary horizontal blade pole and under the moving one. Turn the corner and Wall Run to the Rope. Climb up and jump to the other Rope. Swing and Wall Run past the saw blades. Turn the corner, then Wall Run past these saw blades and jump from the wall to clear the spinning blade below. Wall Run the rough right wall, past the saw blades and save at the SAVE FOUNTAIN - A SECOND CHANCE (4). Roll through the small hole in the wall.

Cliff - Past

Fight the Black Ninjas (male version) and the Exploding Dogs. You need to get an Exploding Dog to explode the cracked wall. Once the cracked wall is blown open hang from the ledge and ride the Red Curtain jumping to the Bar behind you. It will break off allowing you to drop to the Bar below. Before this one breaks off, quickly swing and jump to the wooden column (mast of a ship). The column will shake and fall, so quickly angle yourself so that your back is facing you, then jump to the next wooden column, this one will also fall, so quickly jump to the next wooden column then from this column to the platform with the enemies. Kill them.

Next, find the tree that is near you and the branch that serves as a Bar. Wall Run up the wall and jump to the Bar. Turn around and swing then jump to the top of the wall. Wall Run along the wall, over the large archway, to the Rope, then from the Rope to the Red Curtain. Near the bottom of the Red Curtain, jump off to the branch/Bar. Swing to the next Bar, then jump to the wall and Wall-to-Wall jump all the way up until you grab the left ledge.

Here you will find an ARTWORK TREASURE CHEST (40) and some enemies: Exploding Dogs and Ninjas. Kill them then hang off the ledge of this platform, drop down a ledge, then ride the Red Curtain. OK, time to be quick. You may want to read ahead here so you know what to expect. Also, remember that your Sand Tanks refill so you should have plenty of "retries" if needed.

Jump from the bottom of the Red Curtain to the wooden Bar, swing to the wall, jump from the wall to the collapsing column/mast, then quickly jump from mast to mast. At the third mast, jump to the wooden walkway along the wall and start running because this too will collapse. Jump up to the higher wooden platform, continue running and then Wall Run along the left wall and jump to the Bar. You can take a breather here. Next, swing to the wooden walkway, run to the wall, Wall Run up the wall and jump to the higher wooden walkway. Wall Run along this wall, slash the oncoming Red Ninja and grab the ledge. NOTE: Slashing the Red Ninja drove me crazy. There are two ways to handle this. One way is to pull out your sword before you Wall Run. Make sure that your Sword is pulled out by tapping the Attack-Button just before you attempt the Wall Run. This way you Wall Run with your sword out and should simply auto-slash the Red Ninja. The other way is to make sure your timing is impeccable and slash at her just at the moment she gets to you. Either way, I found I had trouble actually making it to the other side without falling before I reached the ledge. The only advice is to keep trying. You can reach the ledge in one Wall Run (and why I did reach it certain times and not at others is beyond me) and that is indeed what you need to do. And, remember, each time you get to this point, you basically have six tries at it because you can rewind if you fall.

Once you successfully slash the Red Ninja and make it to the ledge, make it a priority to activate a Slo-Mo. Quickly smash the ARTWORK TREASURE CHEST (41) then smash through the cracked wall. Phew!

Next, Wall Run the left wall when the saw blades are at their furthest apart. As you run, a Red Ninja will attack. Again, slash her just as she gets to you. If you get knocked off, rewind and try again. You may get lucky and she'll jump straight up, thus not bothering you as you Wall Run. At the end of the Wall Run, you'll grab the ledge. Pull yourself up then go by the spinning blade, then Wall-to-Wall jump up the dead end staying above the saw blades. Climb up to the next hallway and use a Slo-Mo to help you get by the saw blades in front of this gap. Then, Wall Run the left wall and jump across to the right wall and hang from the ledge. Shimmy under the saw blade to the end of this ledge, wait for the saw blade (right wall) to go by you to the far end then activate a Slo-Mo, pull up, jump across to the left wall ledge and quickly hang down to avoid this saw blade. Shimmy to the ledge thus clearing the gap.

Fortress Entrance - Past

You'll see a cutscene of you (as Sand Wraith) saving the life of you (as Prince) way earlier in the game. From where the cutscene leaves you, quickly backtrack to find ARTWORK TREASURE CHEST (42). Then, go forward again and jump to the column, the column across from you, then to the arched doorway. Go inside for a SAVE FOUNTAIN - MIRRORED FATES.

Go by the various traps then kill the Demons. Next, roll by the various wall blade/spike floor traps and when you reach the end, jump to the vertical passage, avoiding the top saw blade. Quickly hang down from this ledge and you'll be momentarily safe. Drop down from ledge to ledge (jumping across when needed) avoiding the saw blades as you go. Go by one more set of traps and you'll get cutscene upon entering the Foundry.

Foundry - Past

You'll see that you have a new objective if you open your map.

GOAL: FIND A WAY TO THE THRONE ROOM (PAST)

Kill the many enemies in this room until they are all gone. There will be lots of Black Ninjas dropping in on you so keep at it. When they're all gone, find ARTWORK TREASURE CHESTS (43, 44). One of the chests is protected by what I can only guess to be an invisible spinning blade (the chest that is on the spinning blade side of the room). To get by it, either stick to the wall or roll by it. Anyway, now that the room is clear, climb the Ladder at the far end of the room.

The basic gist of this puzzle is to follow the flowing magma coming from the ceiling.

You just climbed the ladder to the platform (Platform 1) where you will find a Rotating Switch. Don't rotate it. Instead, jump to the platform to the right (Platform 2). Again, don't rotate this switch. Run along the right wall, past the saw blades to this platform (Platform 3). Rotate this switch so that it is pointing toward the wall with the door where you entered this room (pointing away from Platform 2). Before you leave this platform, jump to the column toward the wall with the door where you entered, and jump to this platform (not a numbered platform) and go behind to find an ARTWORK TREASURE CHEST (45). Get back onto Platform 3 where you just were. Next, head across the beam to Platform 4 (follow the magma, remember). Rotate the switch so that it is pointing at Platform 1 (where the ladder is). You'll now see the magma flowing near Platform 1. Wall Run past the saw blade, then swing on over to Platform 1. Rotate this switch so that it is pointing at the Ladder and you'll have a completed circuit of magma! The molten lava will flow to the buckets, spilling out and causing the balcony to crumble.

Drop down and go to the now collapsed balcony. Climb up then Wall Run up to the doorway. Yay! SAVE FOUNTAIN - MIRRORED FATES (2).

Prison - Past

To get by the wall blades, Slo-Mo when the wall blades retract and Wall Run then jump across to the next part of the hallway. Get by the horizontal blade pole by Wall Running up the backside of the leftside column and jumping off the wall, thus over the blade pole. Climb the Ladder. Make your way up the vertical shaft, avoiding the saw blades (try the left side) and jump across to the ledge.

Rotate the Rotating Switch to open the next doors. You are now facing a fast-moving multi-blade pole trap. Facing the trap, Wall Run up the left wall and grab onto the recessed wall ledge. Jump to the Beam behind you and walk out on it. Slo-Mo, then jump across to the other Beam. Go to the end of this beam and drop down, then grab the ledge of this vertical shaft (if you didn't already). You'll see you have to contend with some slow moving saw blades. Get in the middle of the ledge on which you are hanging. Go into First Person View and look at study the saw blades. You'll be jumping between them and quickly dropping down. Do so, then Slo-Mo to get by the wall blades and quickly Wall Run up the left wall and jump to the Beam. Go to the end of the Beam and jump to the slightly visible arched doorway. You'll hop over a wall doing so.

Hang from the ledge and ride the Red Curtain down. You should recognize where you are: on the balcony where you broke through two walls to get Life Upgrade 7. Anyway, kill the Black Ninjas (male version) then go through the open door at the end of the balcony. Wall Run up to the Beam bisecting this hallway. Go to the end of it, jump to the next Beam, then to the wall ledge. Continue working your way up the various Beams and wall ledges. Save at the Save Fountain.

Wall Run up the wall across from the Save Fountain and jump to the Beam. Again, work your way up the Beams by jumping from Beam to wall to Beam and get up to the staircase. Kill the two Black Ninjas (female version) and then break through the wooden/boarded-up door. You are now in the Library.

Library - Past

You know what to do here: kill the enemies, rotate the first Rotating Switch, kill the enemies, rotate the second Rotating Switch, kill the enemies, go into the room and Wall Run up to the Weight Switch, activate a Slo-Mo, quickly re-rotate the second rotating switch and go through the central door.

Climb the Ladder, kill the enemies, follow the path to the dead end, kill the enemies and you'll see the two bookcases still pulled out. Wall-to-Wall jump up the bookcases then use the Bar and Beam to get up to the upper Beam above (you've done this before). Jump from this Beam to the Bar with the hanging lantern, then to the next Bar, then to the wall ledge. Drop down several ledges and shimmy to the right whereupon you'll get a cutscene of the Dahaka!

Great. The Dahaka is after you again. In fact, he's directly above you. Shimmy back to the left, and hop up a few ledges to the now accessible upper ledge (thanks to the Dahaka). Shimmy right, over the Dahaka and pull yourself up. From this Beam jump to the next few Beams and then to the narrow wall ledge. Drop down to the hallway and the Dahaka will see you.

Chase time! Wall Run the left wall over the first gap. Wall Run the left wall again and jump across to the hallway. Jump to the Bar, then swing past this gap. Run up the stairs and Wall Run up to the window in the dead end wall. Cutscene of Dahaka falling to his death (maybe).

Mystic Caves - Past

Save at the SAVE FOUNTAIN - MIRRORED FATES (3). You are in a very foggy hallway. Fight the Dogs and the Invisible Ninjas. Continue through the caves, killing any enemies as you go. You'll soon see ARTWORK TREASURE CHEST (46). Wall Run the right wall to it. Then, Wall Run back and hop down the ledges. At the bottom, kill the enemies, pick up a Secondary Weapon, and throw it at the Dog on the wall so you don't have to slash him. Wall Run the left wall and jump to the platform. Do a Wall-to-Wall jump in this narrow part of the hallway and you'll grab a ledge on the right. Wall-to-Wall jump again to the next ledge up, then jump up to the next platform.

You are on a small bridge lit by two white/blue lights (depending on your TV's brightness). Jump through the white/blue lights and you'll land on a hard-to-see wall path. Take the path to the right (if facing the wall) and jump up to the area with the gate/door. You'll get a cutscene wondering how you open the door and many Dogs will come and attack.

Follow the lighted path, killing as you go, until you get to a dead end. There is a large chasm between you and the next platform. Look out to find some Stalactites and then Wall Run the left wall and jump to a Stalactite. Jump to the next Stalactite, then to the platform. You will see light shining through the wall. Drop down and you'll find the Floor Switch that activates the gate/door.

Step on the Floor Switch, activate a Slo-Mo, then hop back up the ledge and with your back to the Switch, Wall Run the left wall and jump to the new Stalactite. Jump to the next 5 or 6 Stalactites, activating Slo-Mo's as soon as one runs out. Eventually, you'll jump off the final Stalactite and onto the platform with the now open gate/door. Go through.

Here, there is a Floor Switch in a lower area. First, go to the other upper platform and kill the enemies. Then, drop down to the area where the Floor Switch is located. Before you activate the Floor Switch, break through the stone wall. Inside, break the weapons rack to find a Green Glowing Secondary Weapon. Grab it and you'll see that you have a "?" as your secondary weapon. I'll call this weapon the RADIOACTIVE BLADE OF FURY, AKA, "?" SECONDARY WEAPON, AKA, LIGHT DAGGER, AKA, SUN DAGGER. Whatever you do, DO NOT throw this weapon away. This is a secondary weapon that won't break. Cool. Then, step on the Floor Switch, Wall Run up and go through the door.

Kill the many enemies on the bridge. Continue on, go by the saw blades in the floor, kill the Shadow, then run down the ramp. Wall Run the left wall to the wall ledge. Jump across to the right wall. Jump up to the ledge, jump back to the left wall, then shimmy and jump to the hallway. Continue forward. Wall Run the right wall to get over the gap. Wall Run the next right wall and you'll see a SAVE FOUNTAIN - MIRRORED FATES (4).

Mechanical Pit - Past

Wall Run the left wall to the Rope. Climb the Rope and jump to the wall ledge on the right wall. Shimmy and then jump to the next Rope on the left wall. Swing, Wall Run, and jump across to the right wall ledge. If you didn't break open the Artwork Treasure Chest when you were here ages ago, do so now. You'll see that you are again in the fireplace room.

Go through the open door and jump to the wooden platform. You'll come upon an ARTWORK TREASURE CHEST (47). Jump up to the Hanging Switch then backtrack a tad. You'll get a cutscene of you seeing yourself again. Then, the Armored Troll will surprise you and throw you against the wall.

Upon resuming play you'll be in the fireplace room. The gate/door is now open. Wall Run through the gate door along the wall, slashing the Exploding Dog on the wall. You'll grab a Rope, then swing and Wall Run then jump to the water pool. Drink some water to Heal. Roll through the water gates to the end, jump up to the Bar and swing to the next platform. You'll get a cutscene of where you need to go.

Ride the Red Curtain down, Wall Run through the slowly moving gear, run around the balcony (you can get an ARTWORK TREASURE CHEST (48) here by going through the left path, through the traps, and to a room with a large gear. The Chest is on top of the gear), and drop off the ledge to the platform below (where the cutscene showed you to go). Go through the door, up the wooden stairs, Save at the Save Fountain if you like, then go up to the Wall Switch and activate it to go through the gate/door. Go by the various traps, use the right wall ledges to get by the smasher blocks trap area, then roll by the spinning blade.

Mechanical Tower - Past

Just past the spinning blade is a doorway. Hang down from the ledge, shimmy to the left to find an ARTWORK TREASURE CHEST (49). Get back on the ledge and shimmy to the right, drop down to the ledge below, and shimmy right again. At the corner, drop down to the beam below. Jump to the nearby wall Beam then jump through the spinning gear to the central platform. You'll get a cutscene showing you where you need to go.

Kill the three Exploding Dogs. Find the Beam on this central platform and jump up onto the small section of Beam sticking out of one of the four corner posts. Get up on it, then jump across to the beam sticking out of the top of the window balcony. Now at the top of the window balcony, hang down, shimmy to the right a tad and drop down to the recessed ledge below you. Shimmy right (you'll be hanging in front of the "windows" of the window balcony) and drop down to the small ledge below. Drop down to the continuous wall ledge below and shimmy left. Walk out onto the beam extending from the wall and jump toward the central platform where you can see a Ladder. You'll land on a beam on the central platform. Hop down and go down the Ladder. Face the large spinning gear and jump through it. Save at the SAVE FOUNTAIN - THE RACE TO THE THRONE.

Go down the hall, hang from the ledge, and work your way down to the hall below. Exit out and you'll once again face the Armored Troll. Run by him, or fight him if you want, to the other side of the balcony, go out onto the small extension of the balcony (where there is steam coming out of a floor grate) and Wall Run up to the ledge (you've done this before). Work your way up to the wooden floor room, up the stairs, and save at the Save Fountain.

Go by the smashing blocks, go down the Ladder, past the saw blades, and Wall Run to the red curtain. Use the Weight Switch and a Slo-Mo to get through the door. Go by the spinning blades and go through the door to overlook Central Hall.

Central Hall - Past

Upon peeking your head in on Central Hall, you'll get a cutscene of Sand Wraith you allowing Prince you to be taken by the Dahaka. Sure enough, the Mask of the Wraith loosens and falls off and you are back to being yourself. Remember, your Sand Tanks no longer regenerate so you can't use them as liberally as before.

You start back up on the main bridge in Central Hall. Jump the gap to the SAVE FOUNTAIN - THE DEATH OF A PRINCE and Save. Go up the stairs and through the traps to the Hourglass Chamber.

Hourglass Chamber - Past

Save at the Save Fountain and you'll get a cutscene of you repeating your offer to Kaileena (she doesn't know you're the new and improved Prince, though). She leaves and you get a new objective.

NOTE on Water Sword: This is the best time to get the Water Sword if you are interested in seeing both endings. You get the Water Sword by getting all 9 Life Upgrades. By picking up the Sword here, after you Save at the nearby Save Fountain of course, you can simply reload that save and one time, grab the Water Sword and the other time, don't grab the Water Sword. If you don't care about seeing both endings, you should have already picked up the Water Sword.
