March 1930 - The Little Princess

Outside the Orphanage

Bus Stop

After the movie, you'll see a journal with child's writing on it. It says, "The Little Princess". Use your Left Analog Stick, or D-Pad, to scroll through the pages until you get the "Exit" symbol (Circle Button) at the bottom of the screen.

When you start, you are at the bus stop. If you go left or right, you'll end up right back at the bus stop...the game just warps you back. Head to the left of the bus stop and locate the path going up. Follow the path.

Strange Hill

Continue along the path until you get a cutscene. You are at a sign which reads, "Left: Rose...". You hear a dog whining. Are you freaked out yet? To the right of the sign is a path. Take the path.

Strange Hill - East

At the end of the path you see a shed and a rusted well. Enter the shed by going up to the door and pressing "X".

Rickety Shed

On the ground you find a slip of paper, BOARDING PASS, and a DOG COLLAR. To the right of the door you find a BUCKET KNIGHT. You can save at Bucket Knights. If your PS2 is anything like my PS2, you'll want to save often as you never know when it's going to crash. Exit the Rickety Shed.

Strange Hill - East

Head back up the path. You see a small boy running away. From here on out, you'll be following that boy. Head back to Strange Hill.

Strange Hill

Now back at the sign that reads, "Left: Rose...", head left along the path until you get a cutscene and reach Front Gate.

Front Gate

Go up to the gate. Press "X" in an attempt to open it. You witness girls with bags over their heads beating something with a stick. Not cool. Back away from the gate and head left, moving along the wall. Turn the corner to enter Fence Road.

Fence Road

Follow the path until you reach a wooden door in the wall. To the right of it you see a slot. Stand in front of the slot and hit "X". It appears you need a pass to enter. Luckily, you have a pass! Here, you learn about using items. It's rather simple. Hit your "Start" button. Select the item you want to use, in this case, the Boarding Pass, and scroll down to "Use". Select "Use" to use the item.

The door opens. Walk through the door. You are now inside the wall. Follow the path back towards the Front Gate. Along the way you pass a locked door, a drawing of a stray dog, and a little further along, a lean-to with empty cages. Go through the fence door to Front Gate. Go through the main door to the Orphanage by going through the right-side door (of the double doors).

Inside the Orphanage

Hallway

While there are several doors for you to go through at this point, it's best to follow the boy up the stairs. As you go up, you see the boy go through the door across from the top of the stairs. Follow him through.

This is also labeled "Hallway". In it, you'll find some foul smelling laundry baskets. Head through the door to the left, the Filth Room.

Filth Room

In this room is a freaky doll (why do they have to do this stuff?), a Bucket Knight (save), and the OLD PHOTO. It's sitting on the bureau next to the bed. Grab the photo, save, and exit out. Head back to the hallway where you came up the stairs.

Hallway

You are in the hallway at the top of the stairs. You see the boy go through the door across from you. Follow him. This area is also labeled "Hallway". The boy is at the end of it. Follow him all the way along the hallway to the last door, at the end of the hallway. Go through.

Rear Stairway

Follow the boy up the stairs. He goes through the door on the left. Follow him.

Attic Storage

Here you see a table with various bloody scalpels, gloves and scissors. On the table is the ORPHANAGE MAP. Grab it. You now have a map! Open your map with "Select".

Head to the left of the table and go up, along a side hallway. This room has a makeshift altar with candles. The boy is standing atop the altar. He asks that you read to him the story that he gave you. Open your inventory. Select the "Little Princess" and "Use" it. Exit from the story and you'll get a cutscene of a burial...the burial of your friend.

Head back to the main part of Attic Storage and go through the door near the table (this is the door you came through). You are back at Rear Stairway. You hear a dog barking.

Rear Stairway

Head down the stairs, all the way to the bottom. Go through the door to the outside.

Inner Court

Go to the grave and hit "X". You get a cutscene. All is not well. You are forced into a coffin with a bloody sack. You are prompted to save. Do so.
