Pull yourself to the star ahead, then flick your Wii-mote to the side to land on the next piece of junk. Collect from it the many Star Bits, then work your way around to the opposite side. Use the Pull Star here to put you on a path of many Pull Stars. Shake upon reaching the glass ball to fall onto it. Collect from the ball, and the two next to it, the five Star Chips. Use the resulting Launch Star to sail to the 2nd planet.

Work your way to the top and spot the nearby Pull Stars within glass balls. Pull yourself to the first one, shake, run around, pull yourself to the second, shake, run around, and repeat until you spy a line of Pull Stars in front of you. Use the Stars to make it to the next area, and fall down onto it. Take out the Beedles (jumping on top of them is easiest) then move up and around to the side with many crystals. Carefully break the Crystals (some house enemies) to release the four Toads AND lower a fifth. Stand on the platform beneath him to jump onto his Starshroom, then work your way around to the opposite side to use the Sling Star.

Move forward and cross the blue platforms. More will be put in front of you as you cross. Move up the blue path to the right to collect a Mini Star, then return to the main path and move up the green platforms to the left to collect another Mini Star. Return to the main path and head forward. At the fork, head right and work your way to the third Mini Star. Backtrack and head left for Mini Stars #4 and #5. Once they've all been collected the Power Star will be revealed. Backtrack to collect it.

Kamella's Airship Attack



Hop onto the red Starshroom and use the Launch Star to send you to the Ships. Destroy the crates for Star Bits, then Spin into the switch to the right of the bridge. Cross the bridge and speak to the rabbits. They'll teach you how to extend your jumps, both vertically and horizontally, by Spinning at the peak of your jump. Practice this move by collecting the Coins above, the 1-Up to the left, and destroying the crate to the right, thus revealing the Sling Star. Jump into it to be sent to the next ship.

Eliminate the Goombas and break free the Toads. Pick up the Shell and Spin it into both treasure chests for...well...treasures. Take out the Magikoopa, then grab the Shell and Spin it into treasure chest, thus revealing a Launch Star. Jump into it to set sail for the second set of Ships.

Fall down to the level below and stomp the Koopas to gain access to their Shells. Spin and fling those Shells at the evil Octo enemies across the way. When they both go down the bridge will fall. Grab the Health Mushroom from the treasure chest, cross the bridge, and take the Sling Star to the upper level, where you'll meet a rather large Magikoopa.

Avoid the Magikoopa's attacks and wait for a Shell to appear. When it does, wait for it to slow down, then collect it and Spin toss it into the Magikoopa. If, by chance, the barriers on the edge of the ship are blocking your Shell, perform your Spin toss while in the air to strike high. Repeat one more time and the large Magikoopa will spawn two small Magikoopas. Simply Spin at them to take them down, then finish off the large Magikoopa with a third and final Shell toss.

Please note, if you run low on health while performing this task, check the lights on both masts and hit the "?" box for Coins.

A defeated Magikoopa will result in a Power Star. Collect it.

Tarantox's Tangled Web



Work your way through the galaxy as you did before. At the end of the long row of Pull Stars you'll come to a planet protected by glass. Fall into the large hole and work your way to the Launch Star. Use it to be sent to the next planet.

Move up the path, popping beetles as you go. At the top you will find a Toad. Use your Wii-mote to pull his Sling Pod to one direction, then release and watch as he flies in the opposite direction. You're up next, and you're aiming for the Pod across the way. Jump onto the Sling Pod, then pull it back, away from your target (use the Coins ahead of you to line yourself up). Release and fly. From this Pod, fling yourself to the rocket ship to the right.

Pop the beetles and work your way to the next Pod. Fling yourself to the "L" shaped meteor, then to the spiked planet.

Jump into one of the Sling Pods so you stick, then aim yourself at the large web mass in the middle. Release to unveil Tarantox.

To defeat Tarantox you must flip her over and take out the three red mounds on her belly. To do this, work your way around to her behind where you'll find a large green mound. Use the Sling Pod to fling yourself into it. Once she's flipped, fling yourself into the three red mounds. Tarantox will flip over again, and she'll be more dangerous this time with green ooze streaming from most of her mounds. Avoid it and work your way to her backside again. Fling yourself into her large rear mound, then pop the red mounds on her stomach one more time.

Fling yourself into the resulting Power Star.

The Sling Pod Galaxy



Feed the Hungry Luma outside the Fountain Dome 400 Star Bits to reveal this Galaxy.

A Very Sticky Situation



Simply use the Sling Pods to move around, avoiding the many obstacles as you go. After your first set of Pods you'll run into Pull Stars. Use them to move across the galaxy until you spot the next Sling Pod (pull yourself to the Pull Star behind it to latch on). Move across the second set of Sling Pods to reveal the Power Star.

Rolling Green Galaxy



Rolling in the Clouds



Jump on top of the ball and follow the on-screen instructions that teach you how to roll the ball (hold your Wii-mote straight up to get in "starting position", tilt it right to move right, left to move left, and hit "A" to jump). Roll forward, jump over the ledge, and plant yourself in the hole. You'll be spit onto the next level.

Roll your way across the next platform (roll over enemies), then down to the third. Carefully make your way to the far end. For a few bonuses along the way, collect the "?" Coins for Star Bits and jump to the small island for a 1-Up. Fall into the hole at the end, then the hole on the 4th platform for the Power Star. Climb the flag pole to collect it.

Battlerock Galaxy



Battlerock Barrage



Move along the saucers, collecting blue Space Chips as you go. Note, you can, and need to, walk on all sides of the saucers to collect the Chips. You can eliminate the Space Shells by Spinning to flip them, then Slamming on or near them. Once you have all five Chips, use the Pull Stars to reach the Launch Star and launch yourself to the next set of saucers.

Use the springboard to reach the second saucer in the pack, then step atop its blue screw. Flick your wrist left to turn the screw and move the saucer forward. Ride the saucer, collecting Space Bits and avoiding cannon balls and obstacles as you go (move to the bottom side). When it stops, jump to the next saucer and note its dome trapped Star. To release the Star, jump to the next saucer and attract one of the Bullet Bills. Lead him to the dome Star and collect it.

Breaking into the Battlerock



Move across the saucers and collect a Bomb. Toss the Bomb at one of the surrounding domes (Spin) to break the dome. Collect the rewards. Toss a Bomb at the Launch Star Dome and use the Launch Star to reach the planet of colored balls.

At the top of the colored balls is a domed Luma. Free it by collecting the Bomb at the opposite end, guiding it through the Chomp Chomps, and tossing it at the dome. Speak to the Luma and she'll provide you with a Sling Star. Ride it into the next Launch Star.

Pull yourself forward via the Pull Stars. Avoid the meteors as best you can. Find the Launch Star at the end of the path and take it to the large piece of machinery. Move down the green pipe to the next level. Spin to control the Bomb here, then toss it down the hole. Move down it. At this point you'll get a chance to take aim at the large crystal. Do so, as you're goal it to destroy it. Repeat the process until the crystal is gone and the Luma inside transforms into a Launch Star. Shoot yourself at the Launch Star and Spin to be sent to the next area.

Carry the bomb here to the top of the structure (remember you can jump the obstacles) and shatter the dome. Fall into the hole, then aim yourself at the Power Star in the middle of all of the fences. Wait until you have a clear path, then shoot yourself forward.

Topmaniac and the Topman Tribe



Work your way across the saucers to the Pull Stars at the far end (to defeat the Moles, Slam into the ground to flip them, then Spin). Move across them to the above saucer, then use the bot to reach the Sling Star. Ride the next saucer to the Launch Star, and use it to reach the small planet with the two Lumas.

Spin into the top so it spins into the central dome, thus freeing the Luma. Use the resulting Launch Star to reach the next platform. Break the crates to reveal a green pipe. Climb into it.

Work your way over to the green arrow. Stand beneath it, then flick your wrist up to flip it. You'll fall to the bottom. From here, work your way right. Cross the platforms, then jump up to the green platform. Wait for the wheel to provide you with a path, then quickly run across it. Repeat, then flip the switch. Work your way across the room to the left. If you touch any red along the way, you'll fall to the bottom.

Fall into the area above, then cross right. Don't allow yourself to be smooshed as you go. Hop on the springboard at the end, fall into the red, then hop into the green pipe.

Avoid the rays of the central bot as you make your way toward it. Jump on top of it to reach the above Sling Star, then shake your way to the next platform. Ride it, then spin the Tops into the electried door. When it fall, fall into it and use the Launch Star.

Avoid the obstacles and run to the underside of the structure. If you want, locate the Hungry Luma and buy from her the 1-Up or Health Shroom (I went with Health). When you're ready, climb into the arena.

Here you'll meet Topmaniac. Don't fear the Top, as he looks much nastier than he is. Defeating him is a two step process. First, jump on top of him so his back turns green and his spikes recoil. Once the big guy is in this state, Spin at him and send him into the electrified fence. Repeat the process another two times to claim your Power Star.

Daredevil's Topmaniac Run



It's time to be a daredevil! To do this, defeat Topmaniac without taking any damage from him.

Hurry-Scurry Galaxy



Shrinking Satellite



Make your way along the path and watch as the tiles disappear after you step on them. This isn't a big deal on the first path. Once you reach the end, step on the tile beneath the "?" box and fall into the Sling Star beneath it. You will land on multi-sided orb that also has disappearing tiles. Note the many colorful notes. Clear the notes to make the Power Star appear. I suggest following the note path from the beginning as long as you can. If necessary, use your Spin Jump to clear large gaps. Once the Star appears, fall through the orb to grab it.

Bowser's Star Reactor



The Fiery Stronghold



Move forward along the colorful bridge, avoiding gaps and obstacles as you go. Continue forward to the green platform that will flip you up to the next level. Ride it and head right. Note the blue background. Jump to the red and carefully make your way right. Carefully jump over the fire arm, then wait until the platform appears below you. When it does, jump so you hit the blue and fall onto it. Ride it, jump to red, work your way right, and ride the yellow platform over to the next area.

Move around the circle to the carpet lined walkway and make your way forward. Again, look out for obstacles, as there will be many. Upon reaching the green and white checkered walkway be on alert, as Bowser will begin shooting fire balls your way, shattering the walkway. Move fast, grab the Health Shroom, and make your way to the top of the tower.

Bowser and you will be sent to a glass planet nearby. As soon as you land, Bowser will begin trying to smash you with his Slam move. It's easy to avoid the Slam. What takes more skill is avoiding the blue ring that radiates from the Slam. Don't let it touch you, as it will damage you. Your goal is to get Bowser to Slam one of the blue panels. Upon doing so his tail will catch fire and he'll run around the planet. Spin into his tail to flip him, then Spin into him again to damage him.

At this point Bowser will pound a few times (you can step on the green platforms to easily avoid his blue rings), then he'll shoot some fire rocks at you. No biggie, just avoid them. Eventually, he'll start the process all over again. Again, have him slam into a blue panel, then watch him run around. He'll move faster, so it's easiest if you just stay close and wait for him to pause. Strike at the pause, then hit him one more time as he's flipped. (Don't follow him when he's flipped as he's faster than you. Instead, try to cut him off.) Repeat the process one more time, then collect the Grand Star.

The Kitchen Dome



This dome becomes accessible after you defeat Bowser's Star Reactor in the Fountain Dome. To get there, head right from Rosalina and follow the pink tube light in the floor, as it will lead you straight to the Kitchen Dome door.

Beach Bowl Galaxy



Sunken Treasure



It's swimming time! To swim hop in the water. Hit "Z" to dive. Repeat to dive farther. Use your control stick for guidance, and hit "A" to swim in whatever direction you are facing (including up). Spin to swim faster, and don't let your Air Meter run out. If you notice your Air Meter getting low and you don't want to resurface, swim through a bubble instead.

Your goal is to find the five underwater Star Chips, none of which are difficult to find. One is in a crate, one is in a clam, and three are in bubbles (two quite obvious, one a little more hidden in front of the sea worm at the sea floor). Collect all five to create a Launch Star and use it to reach the surface.

Take down the enemies as you make your way forward. Slam the "!" switch at the end, then backtrack to the start of the new bridge. Quickly work your way across it before it disappears. Slam the next "!", then Wall Jump to the above ledge. Shatter the crystal and collect your Power Star.

Passing the Swim Test



Move across the islands and bridges to the big penguin. He'll explain that you must find the Golden Shell to pass his test, and that others are taking the test. Alrighty. Hop in the water and look down. Eventually you will spot four penguins swimming in a row. The lead penguin will have in its clutches the Golden Shell. You must steal it from him. To do this, swim close to the penguin and Spin. You will automatically grab the shell if you're close enough to the penguin. If you have any troubles doing this, try approaching from the front.

Once the shell is in your control you'll be able to ride it around. Ride it to the surface, then to an island. Carry it over to the large penguin for your Power Star reward.

The Secret Undersea Cavern



Dive into the sea and find a Shell. Ride it around and locate the penguin in front of the circular crack along the sea wall. Ride your Shell straight into the crack to open up a new area. Swim up into it.

Eliminate the enemies and break the crates to get through the fence. Slam to circular platform to create a Launch Star and use it to reach a pathway in the sky (the Cyclone Stone). Move forward along it until you get to the rolling block. Follow the block until it falls down a step, then use this opportunity to jump up and over it (if you have troubles with this, wait it to expose its hollow side and let it roll over you on that side).

Cross the moving platforms to the right, until you get to steady ground again. Here you'll find another rolling block. Follow it as it moves up the trail, then peel off to the right as soon as a path is presented to you. Move along it, again, following a block. Use the green checkerboard shortcut and cross to the other side. Continue forward. Use the next checkboard shortcut, then run forward to the Stomp Block. Move under it and shatter the crystal for the Power Star.

Bubble Breeze Galaxy



Through the Poison Swamp



What you don't want to do here is slip into the poison swamp, as doing so will leave you poisoned. Make your way to the blue ship part. On the way you'll spot a bubble and a sign. Read the sign for instructions on how to move the bubble. To do so, hop into the bubble, then note that the star icon becomes an air horn of sorts. Hold "A" to make the horn blow wind and the bubble. Guide the bubble back toward the Spaceshroom, then along the wind path. Collect the Space Chips and avoid the obstacles as you go (focus hard on avoiding the spike balls, as they'll pop you and send you into the swamp).

Once all of the Chips have been collected, guide your bubble to the Launch Star and shake to be sent to the next area (don't miss the Star Bits along the way).

Here you'll learn to release yourself from the bubble by hitting "Z". Noted. Hop in the next bubble and make your way along the next path. Again, avoid obstacles as you go, and use others to help you move forward. Upon reaching the island with the "!" on it, debubble (hit "Z"), Slam the "!" to open the gate, grab another bubble, and ride it over the fence before it closes again. Float along the next path to the sand island with the Power Star. Collect it.

Ghostly Galaxy



Luigi and the Haunted Mansion

Run to the bottom of the Shroomship and hop into the Launch Star. You will find yourself outside the Haunted Mansion. Fight the enemies then cross the bridge. Avoid the rolling Chomp Chomp, then enter the mansion. Avoid the Boo and look for the switch near the door. Spin to flip it and activate the light. This will take care of the first Boo. Lead the second Boo into it to destroy him, then collect the Key. This will open the door at the top of the stairs. Move through it.

Collect the five Star Chips. Four can be found along the walls (if you can't reach one, go to the next closest wall). A Goomba is carrying the fifth. Once all have been collected, use the Launch Star to reach the outside balcony.

Climb left to find Luigi (poor guy), then use the Pull Stars to the right to grab Key (use the lower Stars to reach it), then move through the open door. Avoid the Boos, then note the sign written in Booish. Move into the corner and collect the "?" Coin to become Boo Mario. As Boo Mario you can shake your Wii-mote to disappear. Give it a try, then go read the sign. It tells you to tap "A" to float (do so for a 1-Up) and to shake to move through bars. Move through the bars, avoiding the light as you go.

In the next room you'll spot Luigi. Float through the bars to the right of him, then step into the light to switch back to your normal form. Jump over the bookcase to free Luigi and collect your Power Star.

A Very Spooky Sprint



Shoot yourself to the outside of the Mansion and use the Pull Stars to move across the area now without a bridge. Use the Launch Star to reach the race. Speak to the large Boo and agree to race him.

To race Boo successfully, make it through the Pull Star obstacle course to the Sling Star. Use it to reach the Pull Star balls. Move across them, then use the next Pull Stars to reach the small planet. Once there, release with "Z", then run up to the finish line.

Note, you're going to have to move fast to beat Boo. Move quickly along the Pull Stars. If you move fast enough you can get yourself into a rhythm where the Pull Stars will actually propel you forward. It's also key to gain the lead at the beginning and to use that Sling Star, as it will give you a good advantage over Boo.

Upon winning, collect your Power Star.

Beware of Bouldergeist



Use the Launch Star to reach the Mansion Ground, fight your way through the enemies, cross the bridge, and enter.

Approach the Boo portrait in the back of the room and Boo Bombs will appear. To use a Boo Bomb, shake your Wii-mote to grab them, and they'll automatically spin around you. Guide the spinning Boo to an obstacle to blow it up. Use it on all of the statues for various goods and an opening to a Launch Star. Use it to reach the next area.

Work your way up to the moving platform then Spin Jump to reach the Sling Pod. Use it to reach the above platform. Use the Sling Pod above (and to the right a bit) to reach the Sling Star. The Sling Star will toss you into the Launch Star, which will send you into a new area.

Use the Boo Bomb to take out the statues, then use the Sling Pods and Sling Star to collect the five Star Chips. When that's complete, use the Pull Stars to reach the Launch Star and use it to reach the pink and bounce planet. Once here, find the shadow of the Star, then Slam the planet for extra lift to reach it. Set sail for the battle arena.

Purchase from the Luma Shop what you wish (I went with the Health Star), then enter the circle.

Bouldergeist's first attack will be shooting rocks your way. Avoid them and wait for a Boo Bomb to appear. When it does, Shake to collect it, and spin it into Bouldergeist's body. At this point, look out for Boulder's second attack, a straight line of floor spikes. You can tell where they're going to appear before they do by the black smoke that precedes them. When you see the smoke, move. Wait for a second Boo Bomb and use it on Bouldergeist again. This will put forth a second set of floor spikes. If you feel trapped between spikes, use a Boo Bomb to free yourself.

Send another Boo Bomb at Bouldergeist and he'll expose his uvula (the red thing). Swing a Boo Bomb into it and...he comes back. Great.

This time Bouldergeist will have fists. You can take each fist out with two Boo Bombs. If that makes it easier for you, go for it. Otherwise, use your Boo Bombs on his body (three hits), then his uvula again. Doing so will reveal the Power Star.

Matter Splatter Mansion

Bouldergeist's Daredevil Run



Once the Daredevil Comet appears in the Ghostly Galaxy you can go for this Power Star.

In this mission you'll be fighting Bouldergeist just as you did in "Beware of Bouldergeist". However, because it's a Daredevil mission, you must do so without taking ANY damage.

Buoy Base Galaxy



The Floating Fortress



Hop in the water and dive deep, so you're beneath the fortress. Note the hanging glass ball on the underside of the Fortress. You need to destroy this. To do so, swim to the outside of the bowl in which you are swimming and locate one of the two missile spouts. Wait for a missile to appear and lead it to the ball. Once the ball is hit the Fortress will fall a bit, providing you access. Surface, locate the Sling Star on the outer edge, then use it to reach the Fortress.

Work your way around and up (wall jumping is essential) the Fortress, avoiding the many obstacles along the way. Speak to the little robot and he'll ask that you turn the nearby valve. Continue left to find the valve, stand on it, then spin, thus shutting off the bubble makers and releasing a Top. Spin the top over by the robot, then bounce on top of it to reach the above ledge.

Your goal now is to collect the five Space Chips. The first is low, just above one of the below Stomp Blocks. The second two are just along the outside of the tower. Ride around the moving platforms to find them. The fourth is on a platform near the top of the Tower. Jump to reach it. The final Chip is at the top. Use the green blob to reach it.

Use the Pull Stars to reach the above planet. Avoid the red lasers and find the Screw. Once you do, Spin to open the orb, then swim down to collect your Power Star.

The Drip Drop Galaxy



Open this galaxy up by feeding the Power Star outside 600 Star Bits. Use the Launch Star to reach it.

Giant Eel Outbreak



Speak to the Elder Penguin and you'll be told to get rid of the Eels (previously called sea worms). To do so, grab the shell and jump in the water. Track down one of the three eels and ride into it. Repeat with the other two for your Power Star reward.

Take out the various sprouts then move down the square hole to enter the cannon. Aim yourself at the gold dot between the circling mines, then let yourself go. As you approach the dot, which is the top of the pole, grab for the Pull Star. Once you have hold, release and fall to the ship below.

Quickly run forward, so you avoid the robot lasers, then take out the Magikoop. Again, hop into the cannon and aim for the next pole. Fall to the ground, eliminate the caterpillars, and purchase what you want from the Blue Luma (if you need Star Bits, Spin Jump to the "?" block, and spin atop the valve). Take out the Mandibug, then flip the switch at the end of the bridge.

Avoid the bombs and obstacles as you float forward, then disembark when the space raft stops moving. Pop the Magikoop, then use the Sling Star to reach the above level, where you will meet Bowser Jr.

Before beginning this battle, do note that you can jump to the high sides of the ship. On one side you'll find a couple of crates. One will have inside it a Coin, the other, a Goomba. Pop the Goomba for another Coin. The opposite side will have a Coin releasing light AND a glass done. Lead a Bullet Bill here to shatter the glass and provide you with a 1-Up and three more coins. Of course, none of this may be necessary, as this isn't that tough of a battle.

To defeat Bowser Jr., get a Koopa Shell from a nearby Koopa, then Spin Toss it at the ship. Do this three times and the Ship will turn at you. Avoid its fiery balls and Bullet Bills, and hit the ship two more times (aim for the sides). Collect the resulting Grand Star.
