Once you have collected 60 Stars you'll be able to travel to the center of the universe, a.k.a. Bowser's Galaxy Reactor. Do so.

The Fate of the Universe

Spotlights in this world have their own gravity. Jump into the first one and follow it up the wall. Go to the second, then move along the line of them, all of the way to the top of the tower. Once there, step into the light and sail to the next planet.

Move as fast as you can across the sinking platforms. Get to the end and enter the light tunnel to the next isle, where you must move as fast as you can across the ice platforms. Again, step into the light at the end, and, again, move across the platforms (this time they are sand). Make your way to the fifth planet. Here you must move quickly across the light platforms. Head right, up, left, up, cross the red area, jump to blue, step into the light. Phew!

OK, we're getting closer. Move across the obstacle course. There are really no tips to doing so as the path is obvious, it's just nasty. My only suggestion is to move to one side any time you spot a large Bullet Bill, as these guys don't follow you. Just let it pass by, then move on forward. At the end, climb the armory area and hop into the Launch Star.

Here you'll spot Peach and the Bowser Boys. Move up the path. I strongly suggest grabbing the Health Shroom along the way. Go for the 1-Up if you have time.

Upon reaching Bowser you'll be tossed into battle. Like before, jump to avoid his blue circles. When he turns to stone, Spin into him. Sometimes he'll flip on his back, sometimes he won't. You're waiting for that flip. When it happens, Spin into him again. Either Bowser will return to form and start stomping (in which case you'll have to start the process over), OR he'll remain on his back and move the other direction. If he remains on his back, Spin into him a second time to send him to the next planet.

On this planet you'll have to avoid Bowser's spike roll, then wait for him to shoot fire balls. While he's in this position, Spin into a green blob to bounce it his way. If it makes contact, Bowser will, once again, find himself on his back. Spin into him, and, again, hope for a double. When you get that double and strike him both times, you'll be sent to a third planet.

The third planet is like the one we've battled on so many times before...but it's smaller. Like before, guide Bowser to the blue lights so he'll smash them. Upon doing so his tail will catch fire and he'll run around like his tail is on fire (HA!). Spin into his tail to flip the big guy on his back. Spin into him when this happens...twice. Repeat the process again and you will have successfully defeated Bowser. Claim your Grand Star prize!

Congrats! You have defeated Bowser, saved the Princess, birthed Galaxies, and made everyone happy. Bask in your success, then get moving...you have another 60 Stars to collect if you want to really finish the game.
