Naboo - The Battle of Naboo

Notes: Destroy the Mobile Shield Generators by Eliminating all the Fambaas; Wipe Out the Entire Gungan Grand Army.

Beginning Command Posts: Command, Pillars

Summary
You don't really have to worry about the Shield Generators in order to win, however, it's always fun to both win and complete the objectives. You'll first be taking out the two Mobile Shield Generators on the Fambaas (the yellow diamond icons on your map) then you'll eliminate the army.

Detail
Start out at the "Command" command post. Hop into an AAT, a brown hovering tank (you can switch between primary and secondary weapons if you like). Head directly to the two yellow diamond icons on your map taking out enemies as you go. When you get to the two Fambaas (large dinosaurs) with the satellite dishes on their backs start shooting at each one while you strafe back and forth to avoid enemy grenades. It won't take too long to kill both of them.

Once they are down, and if you're still alive, kill any and every body that you can in the area until you die. When you die, respawn at the "Command" again and this time, run to any enemy command posts and take them over. Everyone except for the far North one where the Fambaas were should be relatively underprotected and should be taken over easily. I was able to win 144-0.


Naboo - Rebellion on Theed

Notes: Hold the City at All Costs; Use the AATs to your Advantage.

Beginning Command Posts: Plaza, Rotunda, Embassy

Recommended Starting Point/Soldier: Plaza/Battle Droid

Summary
Although it is very fun to play through this level with the Droideka, you can't pilot craft as that character. The basic gist here is to grab an AAT (brown tank) and work your way South then East to each of the three enemy command posts. You clear the way as your compatriots overtake each command post.

Detail
Start at the Plaza. Turn around and find an AAT (brown tank) and hop into it. Head South and then East to the South central command post, the "Palace". Get control of that area and take out all the enemies rushing you. If you die, respawn here. Take a look at your map to see if the command post, "The Office," to the West of you (SW of the map) has been taken. If it's in enemy hands, head there, up the stairs and take it over. Defend it until you get a decent number of helpers.

Once you have these two command posts taken care of, head East again to the SE command post, "The Guard". Hop into an AAT if you find one, otherwise, run there. Once this command post is under your control check your map to see if there is any concentration of enemies. If so, head there. There really shouldn't be more than 20 or so enemies left. Search and destroy the last enemies and soon victory will be yours. I was able to win 127-0.


Kashyyyk - Aggressive Negotiations

Notes: Destroy the Wookieee Trade Settlement on Kashyyk; Our New Super Battledroids Are Now Available; Count Kodku Will Assist You in this Battle.

Beginning Command Posts: East Harbor, West Harbor, Landing Zone

Recommended Starting Point/Soldier: Landing Zone/Super Battle Droid

Summary
In this battle, you'll start out in the South and head North to the three enemy command posts.

Detail
Start in the South at the "Landing Zone" turn around to find a Droid Starfighter. Hop in and fly to the middle of the map where you'll see three enemy command posts. Land right on top of the middle command post and hop out. Protect the area and claim this command post, "Village Center," for your team. To the SE of you you'll see another enemy command post in a Wookiee hut. Go inside and claim this command post, "South Village". At this point the Wookiee population will be down quite a bit. Continue to hunt Wookiees and take any remaining command posts, like the "North Village" command post also right near you. This battle will be over pretty quickly. I won 123-0.


Geonosis - The Battle of Geonosis

Notes: Destroy the Techno Union Ships to Prevent the Separatists from Escaping; Master Windu Will Aid You in this Battle.

Beginning Command Posts: Derelict, AT-TE, Assembly Area

Summary
In this battle, you'll start out in the South and head North to take out the Techno Union Ships, then you'll fight for the remaining enemy command posts.

Start in the South at the "Assembly Area". Quickly find a Gunship and hop in. At this point, you're going to be clearing the area for the AT-TEs. Take off and fly slowly and destroy any of the four-legged spider walker that you see. Also, take out any rocket launching enemies that you see. Remember, you can scroll through your primary weapons to get different perspectives and use different weapons on your ship. Anyway, you'll notice that the AT-TEs are slowly working their way toward the Techno Union Ships. When they look like they're in firing range of the Techno Union Ships either land your craft and hop into one of the AT-TEs or pause the game and "respawn" in an AT-TE. Either way, take out the three Techno Union Ships at the North of the map.

Once that is done hop out of the AT-TE and stick to the ground. Make your way South into the cave and take over the "Spire" command post in the center of the large cavern/mountain. Now that you have the "Spire" taken care of, take a look at your map and find any other enemy command posts. Head to the nearest one and take it over. If you die, just respawn at the closest place to where you were just fighting.

I played this battle about 10 times and it always ends up close, usually around 10-0. That's mainly due to taking out time to destroy the three Tehcno Union Ships. That being said, you don't have to destroy the three ships to complete the mission. You can just go for an all out assault with the aim of getting the "Spire" (command post in the cavern/mountain) so that you have a central location to respawn.


Kamino - The Assault on Kamino

Notes: Defend the Cloning Facility at All Costs; Make Good Use of Our New Jet Trooper Unit.

Beginning Command Posts: Cloning Center

240 vs. 200

Recommended Starting Point/Soldier: Cloning Center/Clone Trooper or Jet Trooper

Summary
I'm not a big fan of the Jet Trooper but he does come in handy on this mission. This is the first challenging level. There are a lot of Droidekas (rolling metal insect guys) to deal with and a lot of turret guns as well. For the first part of this mission, the Clone Trooper works well. Later, you may want to switch to the Jet Trooper.

Detail
You start off in the middle. There are three neutral command posts on the North half of the map (Alpha 1, Alpha 2 and Alpha 3) and three neutral command posts on the South half of the map (Beta 1, Beta 2 and Beta 3). Make your way to the SW, heading towards the three "Betas". You should have no problem taking "Beta 2" (the first one you get to). From "Beta 2", work your way up the ramp to "Beta 1". Watch out for the occasional Droideka and take out any enemies that you can. If you go there quickly the enemies numbers will be fewer. You may die a few times, just respawn back at "Beta 2". Once you take "Beta 1" you'll have the high ground.

Work your way down to "Beta 3". This shouldn't be too difficult, you may even have a Turret Gun to work with. Once you secure the three Betas you're in good shape.

This is where you may want to consider switching to playing as a Jet Trooper. There is some distance to travel and the EMP Launcher that he carries helps with the well armed enemy on the Alphas, especially Droidekas and Turret Guns. The next time you die (or just go ahead and respawn) switch to the Jet Trooper.

Make your way to "Alpha 1" (the Southernmost of the three Alphas, if you will) by battling on the well guarded middle platform, between "Beta 3" and "Alpha 1". Take out the Turret Guns first and then deal with the Droidekas. When you have time, polish off the other battle droids. If you can, jet across to the platform extension sticking out of "Alpha 1". There is a covered and well protected roofed area there where you can do some damage while staying protected. To get there, you have to fly over the enemies guarding "Alpha 1".

Once you take "Alpha 1" the enemy's numbers should be vastly depleted. Head to any hot spot where you see lots of enemies and do them in. I won 87-0.


Rhen Var - Mountaintop Defenses

Notes: Capture All Command Posts in the Area; Use the Ice Caves to Flank the Enemy.

Beginning Command Posts: Western L2, Ice Caves, AT-TE

250 vs. 250

Recommended Starting Point/Soldier: Western L2/Clone Trooper

Summary
This is another tough one. If you don't quickly cut off the enemy's command posts along the East side of the map they'll become way too powerful in the middle area and you'll be pinned down in the Ice Caves. You'll be going to the "Fortress" and the "Citadel" command posts to quickly gain control of the East side of the map. After that, you can work your way back through the caves and take on any enemies from behind or you can go after the "Lighthouse".

Detail
Start out at "Western L2" where you can hop into an IFT-X, the tank. Use your D-Pad to Command somebody to hop in. This way you have a partner. Pull up your map and find the Easternmost enemy command post. Head there by sticking to the East wall. You'll get to a building and a stair case. Go up the stairs and carefully kill off the enemies; you don't want to die here. Once you have cleared the area, take the command post, "Fortress". If you die in taking this first command post, you may as well "Restart Mission" because you'll waste too much time getting back there.

Protect this command post until you have a good number of guys around you. The enemy will be attacking you from the North so stick to that side and make sure to keep the Turret Guns over there in check...kill off anybody going for them. After a while of protecting this area and killing lots of enemies head on over the NE command post.

You are now moving to the NE command post, the "Citadel". Go up the stairs. This area will be hotly contested. First, take out the Turret Gun guys. Then, head to the command post. Inside, fight off the enemies using the pillars as cover. If you see a Droideka hide and wait for it to lose its shield and then pummel it. You may die trying to take this area. If you do, just respawn back at the "Fortress" and try again. Once you have the "Citadel" under your control it should be a cake walk.

The enemy at this point will probably be down to under 50. Take your time and start picking off anybody you see as you work toward the Ice Caves. Go into the Ice Caves and retake the "Ice Caves" command post.

If there are any remaining hot spots take care of them and if you want you can take the "Lighthouse". I won 104-0.


Kashyyyk - The Battle of Kashyyyk

Notes: Prevent the Separatists from Establishing a Beachhead; The Observation Platforms are Excellent Vantage Points for Sniping.

Beginning Command Posts: City Hall, Pier One, Pier Two

250 vs. 250

Recommended Starting Point/Soldier: Pier One/Clone Trooper

Summary
The key to this battle is to take the Southernmost, "Beach Head," command post. That will cut off the enemy's AAT (brown tank) and four-legged spider walker supply. You may die trying to take it, and if you do you should restart the mission. Once you have control of that command post the rest of the battle is a cake walk.

Start off on Pier One as a Clone Trooper. Run down the bridge and use your commands to "Follow Me". Have at least one other guy with you. Take a look at your map. You'll be running South along the West side of the map toward the Southern command post. As you get near, you'll see three AATs and two four-legged walkers start moving North. Watch as they go and swoop around from the side and when it doesn't look like there are any enemies near the command post run up to it. Keep an eye out for any spawning enemies while you wait for the command post to turn neutral and then green. If any enemies spawn, take them out quickly. You may die doing this and if you do, just restart and try again. You want to take the "Beach Head" command post without losing any lives.

Once you have control of the command post, protect it. If you were lucky, you may have an AAT to use to your advantage. From this command post you can respawn as a Clone Sharpshooter and pick off enemies far away on the landing beach.

You'll start to see the enemy's numbers dwindling. If you feel comfortable leaving the command post, work your way North and try to take either the East or West jetty command post or the central landing beach command post. Again, you'll probably die a few times trying so just respawn and continue to take out enemies.

If you like, you can simply stay at the "Beach Head" command post and your guys should have no problem winning. I won many times about 40-0.
