Review

TimeSplitters 2 is an excellent First Person Shooter from the team that brought you Goldeneye and Perfect Dark. In fact, you'll be able to see many similarities in the details and sounds of the game. But, unlike the other games, TimeSplitters 2 doesn't have much of a story line, other than the fact that you have to keep collecting Time Crystals. However, this isn't a big deal, as it doesn't distract from the game.

So, here's the deal: you play as many different characters throughout time, from a Robot to a Wild West Cowboy. Each level is a different time period (see Walkthrough below to get a sense of this) with it's own unique weapons and environments. For example in 1932 Chicago, you have a pistol, a shotgun, and a Tommy gun, but in 2315 Robot Factory, you have plasma grenades and a lasergun.

There are also a plethora of multi-player options including making your own maps.

So, that's about all you need to know. If you liked Goldeneye or Perfect Dark, or, if you like First Person Shooter's, you'll love this game.
