So, here's the deal: you play as many different characters throughout time, from a Robot to a Wild West Cowboy. Each level is a different time period (see Walkthrough below to get a sense of this) with it's own unique weapons and environments. For example in 1932 Chicago, you have a pistol, a shotgun, and a Tommy gun, but in 2315 Robot Factory, you have plasma grenades and a lasergun.
There are also a plethora of multi-player options including making your own maps.
