Introduction



Welcome to Lunabean's Unofficial Tomb Raider: Anniversary Game Guide for the PS2, PC and Xbox 360 versions of the game. In this Guide, we will walk you through the game to 100% completion. That means we will help you find ALL Relics, ALL Artifacts, ALL Secrets, and anything else you need to earn a 100% completion.

The guide is written in a way that explains new situations and techniques when you first encounter them. They are often highlighted inside a tan box. So, if you find yourself having trouble performing a move the guide asks you to perform (say the Adrenaline Dodge and Headshot), look to the first time you encountered the move for a full explanation. Of course, those using the PDF Game Guide need only use the "Search" function to find what they need.

Please note, this guide was written playing the PS2 version of the game with "Default" controls. Because you have the option to change up your controls, and because there are other versions of the game available, the guide refers to buttons by action rather than name. You can check the button names in your game by going to "Pause Menu" > "Options" > "Controls" > "Controller Configuration".

Up the Mountain

After a cutscene that quickly explains your goal, you'll find yourself in the snowy mountains of Peru. You must reach your Peruvian guide on the cliff above. Move straight, so you're to the left of the stone bridge base, and get yourself on the short snowy platform. Move to the far end of it and you'll be told to "Jump" ("X" on PS2) toward the wall. Do so. Follow the onscreen instructions and "Shimmy" right. As you're moving, you'll be told you can tap the "Fast Traverse" button (the same button as "Interact"/"Pick Up", or the "Triangle" on the PS2) in time with your movements to shimmy faster. Give it a try.

Continue around the corner to the end, but continue to press right. Lara will automatically get in position to jump right. Hit "Jump" and she'll perform a "Lateral Jump". Continue to shimmy right, around the next corner. This time, press your control stick toward the platform behind Lara and wait for her to take her "Jump" position. Once there, jump to that platform, then hit "Jump" again to pull Lara/yourself up.

Face left. Use the camera control stick or the "Camera Reset" button to put the camera at your back, then run off the platform and jump to the cliff across the way. Climb the couple of stairs to the stone wall, then jump straight up, catching the above ledge. "Jump" again to grab the ledge above it. "Jump" one more time to pull yourself up.

Next you'll spot a grapple point. To make use of it, jump toward it, then quickly hit your "Grapple" ("Square" on PS2) button. As you swing toward the platform across the way, hit "Jump" to automatically release and land on the platform. Move up the stairs. Checkpoint.

Approach your guide in front of the large doors and speak to him with the "Interact" button ("Triangle" on PS2). He is of little use. Back up then face the large doors. Note the ledge to the left. Use the raised rock to reach it and pull yourself up. Grapple to the grapple point, then follow the onscreen instructions to swing back and forth for extra momentum. Once you have it, jump to the ledge across the way. Face left and jump onto the ledge. Shimmy as far left as you can go, then jump to the ledge directly above you. Shimmy left, then jump across the large gap. Pull yourself up to the ledge that's directly above the large door. Approach the large button and "Interact" with it to open the door below. Checkpoint.

Inside the Caves



With Mr. Guide now out of the picture, you're on your own. Not a big deal. First, what kind of guide forgets a rope AND stands unprepared in front of a door that hasn't been opened in a really, really long time? Second, we all know that Lara does her best work when she's alone.

Move straight down the hallway where you'll eventually walk over a pressure plate. This is your first of many booby traps, but it's unavoidable. Simply make your way down the hall slowly, studying the arrows as they shoot from the sides of the hall. Each set of arrows has a clear pattern, so it's easy to make it down the hall completely unharmed. Checkpoint.

Enter the next room and climb the staircase, jump the gap in the bridge, then jump to the next platform. Move to the far end and jump straight up to catch the above ledge. Shimmy left, turn the corner, jump the gap, then pull yourself up. Head down the tunnel before you. Checkpoint.

As you move forward you'll be told what button to hit to shoot your weapon ("R1" on the PS2"). Prepare that finger and continue to move forward. BATS! RABIES! Quick. Tap that "Shoot" button and take the flying rodents down. As you are shooting you'll be told about your "Target Lock" button ("L1" on the PS2). It's a good idea to get in the habit of locking onto your targets as you shoot them, so hold "Target Lock" and continue shooting until all of the bats are toast.

Before continuing forward, back up a few steps then enter the bright open area to your left. Once there, head right and you'll find a wall with ledges that are too high to reach. Back up a few steps and note the small platform to your right. Climb on it then jump to the lowest ledge. From here, work your way up to the item at the top. Stand next to it and hit "Pick Up" ("Triangle" on the PS2) to collect the Large Medipack.

Note, you shouldn't need to use your Medipack now. However, when your health is low and you want to use a Medipack, you can use it quickly by hitting the Large or Small Medipack buttons ("Up" on PS2 D-pad, "Down" on PS2 D-pad), OR hit your "Inventory" button ("Select" on the PS2) then select the Medipack and hit "Use" ("X" on the PS2).


Return to the Bat area and continue around the corner. More Bats. Shoot them, then slip down the short snow slide in front of you to land safely in the pit below.

Run straight forward, shoot the bats, then head left and fall over the next ledge. If Lara automatically grabs it, hit the "Drop" button (same as "Crouch"/"Roll"/"Dodge" button, "Circle" on PS2) to release her, then continue to the door. Activate the lever to the right and pass through said door. Continue through the tunnel. Checkpoint.

Enter the bridge room and move along the path to the right. Climb up to the bridge, get your gun ready, and cross...oh man, you had to know that was going to happen. Quickly hit your "Target Lock" button to lock onto one of the two wolves in the pit with you. Tap your "Shoot" button quickly until he goes down, at which point the second wolf will be automatically targeted. Shoot him until he falls. Phew.

Approach the hanging section of the broken bridge and jump up to it. Jump again to reach the top and pull yourself up. Checkpoint.

Head right and climb the wall. (Note, if you want a Small Medipack, jump from the ledge to the pillar, to the pillar across the way, to the small alcove with the Medipack.) Cross the bridge, then approach the next ledge. Get yourself in the right corner beneath it and jump to pull yourself up. Enter the next room and face right. Checkpoint.

In front of you there is a rope hanging over a pit. In the pit is a large bear. If you jump to the rope and successfully swing across it, you'll miss the bear. However, you'll also miss a Large Medipack and the opportunity to take on your first bear. So, we're going for the bear. First, jump to the rope, which you'll automatically grab. Next, use your control stick to face left. You'll see an opening and the Medipack across the way. Before you start swinging, slide down the rope a bit by holding your "Interact" button ("Triangle" on the PS2) and pressing down on your control stick. Finally, push the control stick up and down to swing back and forth. When you have the height, jump to that opening, pull yourself up, and collect the Large Medipack. Use it if necessary.

Next, get your gun ready and fall into the pit below. If the bear knocks you over, hit your "Recover" button ("X" on the PS2) to stand up quickly, then lock on, get some distance between him and you, and shoot as fast as you little finger lets you.

When the bear falls, run to the wall opposite the Medipack wall and climb the ledges to the right. Pull yourself to the top and jump to the rope again. This time, jump to the opposite side. Before heading down the ramp check behind the second pillar to the left for a Large Medipack. Go down the ramp and down the tunnel.

At the next pit, stand to the left then jump forward so you catch the pole (hold "Jump", instead of tapping it once, to get the distance to reach the pole). Swing around the pole, then jump to the stairs across the way. Move up them, then climb to the next area. Continue forward and you'll reach another booby trapped hall. Checkpoint.

Again, watch the pattern of the arrows to slowly and safely move across their paths. Toward the end you'll have to "Jump", "Crouch" ("Circle" on the PS2), and/or "Roll" ("Circle" while running on the PS2). At the end of the tunnel is a door with a pressure pad in front of it. Step on the pad and note the door before you is stuck. Great.

Opening the Large Door



Climb the wall to your left and pull yourself up to the ledge. Run straight across to the next wall and climb it. Shimmy right to the end then jump to the large weight. One down, one to go.

Once you've dropped from the weight, turn around and move toward the open doorway. Shoot the Wolf who comes through it and make your way to the far end. Head left and jump to the closest horizontal pole. Continue across to the opposite side, draw your guns, and take out the two wolves who come charging from the left. Move through the doorway, stand on the platform in the corner, jump up the wall then to the pole behind you. Ride it around the corner, then jump to weight #2.

Fall down to the now unlocked door, step on the pressure plate in front of it, and move forward. Checkpoint.

Adrenaline Dodge and Headshot



Move up the stairs and you'll be greeted by a huge bear. Follow the onscreen instructions step by step to move the screens forward and take the bear out.

Adrenaline Dodge and Headshot:: It's important you get this skill down early, as you will need to fight various enemies (and bosses) later. When you're fighting and enemy keep an eye on its head. When/if you notice a quick orange ring flash around it, this means the enemy is about to lunge.

When you see an enemy begin a lunge, "Target Lock" him. As he charges, the screen will become blurred. This means it's time to pull off the Adrenaline Dodge. To do this, REMAIN LOCKED ON the enemy then move your control stick in any direction and hit "Dodge" ("Circle" on the PS2). This will get you out of the way. As you're dodging, remain locked on and watch the reticle. When it flashes red, immediately hit "Shoot" to hit the enemy with a one hit kill headshot.



Continue up the stairs to the next gap. Jump to the vertical pole and slide down. Remove yourself from the pole as you would from a cliff ("Drop" button), then grab the Small Medipack from behind the nearby rock. Next, run past the pole and up the slanted pathway. Jump to the ledge to the right, shimmy left and jump to the next ledge. Jump up, then backwards to the second vertical pole. Finally, jump to pathway and move forward. Checkpoint.

The Town Center and Watering Hole



Move down two flights of stairs and eliminate the two Wolves. Continue down the third set and pop the bear who comes charging at you. Next, investigate the area. Locate the key hole to the right of the locked door. No key. Hmm. The only place left for you to explore is the water feature in the middle of the area. Hop in, then follow the instructions to "Dive" ("Circle" on the PS2), "Swim" (Left control stick on PS2), "Swim Fast" ("Triangle" on the PS2), and "Surface" ("X" on the PS2). Go ahead and practice these skills. Be sure to surface before your air meter runs out, or you will die. As you're practicing, look for the Small Medipack in a bottom corner of the pool.

Once you have your swimming skills under control, dive while remaining close to the surface. Look for an open tunnel, then swim through it. Be sure to tap your "Swim Fast" button, or you might not make it. When you reach the end of the tunnel, swim straight to the lever in front of you. Pull it, then immediately swim straight up for air. Phew. Approach the edge to automatically pull yourself out.

Pull the nearby lever, which will open the door next to it. Step outside and you'll be back at the water feature. No need for that now, so run up the stairs and jump the gap (if you miss, go through the door you just opened, then try again). Run along the right side of the plank, then jump across to the alcove for a Small Medipack. Fall down to the area below.

Grab the square cage with your "Interact" button, and pull it out of the hole. Hit "Interact" again to release the cage. Move through the hole and run forward. Collect the glowing Shotgun Ammo on the floor in front of you, then turn the corner and collect the Village Key. Backtrack through the hole, then shoot the glowing lock on the wood door. Again, you'll find yourself out by the water feature. However, this time you have a key.

Inside the Temple

Stand next to the key hole and hit "Interact". Select and use the key, then move through the door, ready to fire. Take out the two wolves who jump you, then move past the central pillar and take out the third. Climb the temple stairs. Checkpoint.

In front of you is a large locked door and two small open doors. Head through the small open door to the left first. Checkpoint.

Ignore the water and immediately head left. Make your way up and around the wall until you reach a dead end. At this point, look behind you and you'll spot a small ledge. Jump to it and pull yourself up. Move through the door.

Run to the top of the ramp and eliminate the bats. Jump the gap, then run forward and jump straight at the wooden plank sticking out before you. This will unlock one half of the large door. Drop down, then drop down again. Move through the right door.

This time, dive into the pool and collect the Small Medipack from the center. Surface and pull yourself out. Run up the stairs and jump to the wall ledge. Jump up to catch the one above it. Shimmy left, jump up again. Shimmy left, then jump straight at the wall to your left. Shimmy, then pull yourself up. Move through the open door.

Again, run up the ramps and eliminate the bats at the top. Jump the gap, jump at the beam. This will unlock the large door. Drop down and move through it. Checkpoint.

Move to the end of the hall and note the pit beneath you. Jump the gap, then slide down the slide. Ignore the prompt to jump to the pole. You'll find yourself in the pit with a wolf. Shoot him. Collect the Shotgun Ammo, then pull out the cage and slip it between the slide and the wall. Climb up, jump up to the ledge, then to the next ledge, pull yourself up, and return to the slide. This time, as you're sliding, jump to the pole, then swing and jump to the next ledge.

Next, jump to the top of the vertical pole in front of you. Jump again to the ledge, then head down the tunnel to the left. Drop down to the pit below. Run past the pole to the left, then jump up the wall to the right. Jump to the horizontal pole behind you, then swing to the next ledge. Shimmy left and around the corner. You'll find yourself hanging from a bridge with arrows shooting above you. Watch the arrows. When the lowest one whizzes by, pull yourself up and run forward (so you get out of the way of the arrows quickly). Once you're clear, turn around and face the arrows. Watch them again, then run through them and jump to the top of the vertical pole. Jump from here to the ledge and head right. Run to the end to complete the chapter.

Cog #1

Move down the stairs and take out the two wolves. When that's complete, hop into the pool of water and locate the small cave opposite the waterfall. Swim through it and surface at the end for a Small Medipack. Return to the waterfall, step out, and face it. Head left.

Collect Cog #1 from the stone platform, then move over to the right side. Climb the ladder to the top of the wood structure. Face the lever, then place the Cog on the short pole sticking out to the right of it. Hit the lever and all of the gears will begin turning. YAY!

Cog #2



Face right and wait for a horizontal pole to lower itself to you. Jump at it, make sure you're facing the next ladder, and wait until you spot another horizontal pole within reach. Jump to it. Ride it up, then jump to the ladder across the way. Jump to it. Climb up.

Here you'll find a lever and another cog pole. You have no cog. To the right of the lever is a wall ledge. Jump to it and shimmy your way right. Jump up, then to the wooden platform behind you. From here, jump at an angle to the wall and shimmy right. Jump to the above ledge, then jump backwards to the rope. Face left, then swing and jump at the wall ledge across the way. Shimmy right, around the corner, jump right, then fall down. This will lower the next horizontal pole. This will also reveal a hidden cave above the alcove. However, you're not ready to enter that cave quite yet. So, instead, jump to that horizontal pole.

Please note, if you're having trouble making it to the pole, you can also reach this top area by moving up the path where you collected the first Cog. You may care to do so, anyway, as some Shotgun Ammo can be collected along the way.


Move forward and through the tunnel. Checkpoint.

Jump the gap over the raging river, then climb the right wall. Jump backwards onto the wooden platform, then use your "Target Lock" button to highlight the ropes on the bridge hanging over the river. Shoot them, then shimmy around the corner and jump to the lowered parallel bar. Jump to the next ledge and move through the tunnel.

Grapple over the gap and jump to the bridge. Work your way up the wall to the right, then, at the top, jump to the opposite side. Pull yourself up and move through the door. Cross the hanging bridge and collect Cog #2. Pop the bats, then face the river below. Note the rotating horizontal pole to the left. Jump to that rotating horizontal pole, then to the small ledge across the way. Climb the structure to the top, then jump backwards and pull yourself into the cave. Move through it and pull the lever to raise the underwater door.

The Shotgun



Instead of falling through the opening in front of you, backtrack to the cave entrance. Note the hanging bridge across the way and lock onto the ring that is holding the ropes. Shoot it and the bridge will fall. The ring will turn into a grapple point. Jump to the platform across the way and move through the tunnel to face the grapple point. Grapple to it, then lower yourself on the rope and turn around so you're facing the hanging portion of the broken bridge. Look to the right of it and note the small cave opening. Swing toward it and jump in.

Move to the end of the tunnel to collect a Large Medipack and the Shotgun. Nice. Backtrack out of the cave and safely fall to the water below. Let it carry you over the waterfall and into the pool. Climb out.

The Path to Cog #3



Try your new Shotgun on the charging wolves, then climb the wooden structure, make your way across the rotating poles, climb the second ladder, then place the Cog and pull the lever.

Work your way to the right again, stopping once you reach the above wooden platform. Once there, face the wooden mechanism in front of you and note the revolving platform. If you jump to it now, then to the platform across the way, you'll discover another Cog and Lever. However, since you are currently without Cog #3, there's no point. So, instead, continue to work your way across to the other side to that previously mentioned hidden cave. (If you missed it before, get yourself to the spot before you jump to the horizontal pole. Before you jump, look into the alcove to your left, and note the cave entrance above). Enter said cave. Checkpoint.

Arm yourself (the Shotgun is good) and move along the tunnel. Don't let the Bear scare you. Just casually take her down with a few hits. When this is complete, climb the structure to the left then continue up via the wall ledges. You'll end up in an area with two vertical poles. Move up to the top of the wooden platform for some 50 Caliber Pistol Ammo. Turn around and face the two vertical poles. Run and jump to the wall ledge to your left. Shimmy around to the right, jump to the above wall ledge, then jump backwards to the top of the first pole. Next, jump to the second pole, then through the opening ahead. Checkpoint.

Move up the stairs, grab the Shotgun Ammo, then jump from the wooden platform to the slide. Slide down it then jump to the ledge across the way. Jump right for more Shotgun Ammo, then jump to the pole, then to the wall, and climb up to the top. Checkpoint.

Jump forward, shimmy left, then jump to the wall behind you. Quickly shimmy right, then dismount and take out the bats. Grab the Large MediPack, then continue forward, through the moss covered tunnel. Checkpoint. Cross the bridge and you'll slide to the bottom. Checkpoint.

Dinosaur Battle



Pull out your guns and start rapid firing them at the three Dinosaurs who come your way. These guys will lunge at you. This is a good thing, as it gives you the opportunity to pull off an Adrenaline Dodge and Headshot. Do so, and continue shooting until all three go down. Take a moment to breathe, collect the nearby Pistol Ammo, then THREE MORE DINOS! Take them out. Phew. Checkpoint.

Don't be fooled by the upcoming cutscene, as it's of the interactive variety. Wait for the large Dinosaur to charge you, then hit the buttons as you are prompted. When that's complete, you'll have one big Dino battle before you.

Equip your shotgun, lock on and shoot. At this point the Rage (red) and Health (yellow) Meters of the Dino will appear in the upper right corner of the screen. If you fill the red meter, the Dino will become enraged and lunge at you. This is a good thing. You want this to happen, as it will allow for an Adrenaline Dodge and a Headshot. The Headshot won't kill the Dino, but it will do damage. Once you lay the Headshot into the Dino, he'll continue to charge behind you. If you can line yourself up so he charges into one of the spiked supports, you'll do mega damage to the Dino.

So, to recap. Move out into the arena, but try to make it so one of the spiked supports is at your back. Shoot the Dino with your Shotgun until his rage meter fills up (2 to 3 hits). If you need to move while shooting him, move backwards, toward the spikes. Watch as the Dino becomes enraged (an orange circle will momentarily blink around his head). Prepare for the Adrenaline Dodge. When you see the screen get blurry and you get the prompt, take it. Be sure to dodge away from the Dino, as it is possible he can interrupt your dodge if you run into him (dodging right seems to work best). While you dodge, wait for the reticle to turn red. When it does, shoot. Hopefully the Dino will run into the spikes. If not, just try again.

Eventually the big guy will run out of health and you will have to play one more round of "hit the right button as it's called out". Do so, and the Dino will go down.

Cog #3

Check the field for Pistol Ammo (hidden in two spots, one out in the open, the other in the ferns), collect it, then work your way to the Dino's body. Collect the Small Medipack at his feet, then climb the rubble next to him to the large doorway. Move through it, then jump across the water to Cog #3. Grab it, then jump in the pool.

Return to the Waterfall



Locate the tunnel to the right and swim down it. Surface, then climb the vertical pole. Jump to the platform behind you. Climb the wall, shimmy left, jump left, jump on top of the pole, then jump to the ledge across the way. Climb to the ledge above, then shimmy left and jump into the open doorway. Checkpoint.

Go right and collect the Small Medipack. Back up a few steps, then take the steps/path, up and around. Jump from platform to platform, and keep moving until you reach the vertical pole at the end. Climb it, then jump through the opening behind you.

Use the ledges to the right to reach the wooden platform. Jump to the vertical pole at the end, climb it, then jump to the broken wall. Fall through to the other side. Checkpoint.

Grab the Small Medipack, then make your way through the tunnel.

Note, the tunnel to the right that leads outside to a Small Medipack and several platforms. I mention it because, if you fall into the field below, you're going to need to use those platforms to make it back up to this path.


Climb the platforms at the end of the tunnel, then jump the gap across the wooden bridge. Enter the next area, collect the Large Medipack, then back out outside and use the wall ledges to make your way left and up to the top. Note the tiny waterfall dripping on the slide to your left. Hop onto the slide and move down it. Jump to the next one and slide down it. Before you fall into the field below, jump to the horizontal pole. Swing from pole to pole, then move from platform to platform to the open cave. Enter. Checkpoint.

Drop down and move along the tunnel to the left. Make your way to the top of the path, then slide down the slide at the end. Jump to the ledge across the way, then shimmy right and drop down. Shimmy left, then jump backwards. Work your way over to the wooden platform. Checkpoint.

Jump to the slide, then to the wall ledge. Jump to the above wall ledge, then slide down the next slide. Again, catch the ledge, then work your way up to the top. Head down the stairs for a Checkpoint.

Enter the next room and climb the tall vertical pole. From the top, jump backwards so you land on top of the short vertical pole, then jump through the opening to the right. Move down the slide, then drop down to the area below. Follow the tunnel out and you'll be back in the world of waterfalls and large wooden contraptions. Checkpoint.

Jump into the pool below, then climb back up the wooden structure to the platform above Cog #2. Wait for the rotating platform to flatten, then jump across it to the platform across the way. Insert Cog #3 and pull the lever. Checkpoint.

With all three Cogs in place, the waterfall will be cut off, revealing a new door. Jump into the pool below and move through it to complete the chapter.

The First Lever



Run forward to the pit and work your way across it. Move through the next tunnel. Checkpoint.

Cross the bridge and stand at the temple entrance. Take a few steps inside, watch as the Indiana Jones boulder comes your way, then exit back out and step to the side. The boulder will roll past you. Recross the bridge then use the wall ledges on the right to fall safely into the pit below.

Collect the 50 Caliber Pistol Ammo, then note the two wooden structures holding up the bridge. Actually, since the boulder broke a section of the bridge, only one is holding it up. The other, the one farther from you, serves only as a platform. Grab it at it's base, then move it to the left side (if your back is to the wall you scaled down) of the pit. Once here, look up and note the open door above, along with the wall ledge to the right of it. You're going to be jumping from the above bridge to the platform that you're moving to that wall ledge. Line the platform up so it's between the bridge and the ledge, then climb back up the wall from which you descended (push the broken section of tower beneath the ledge so you can reach it), then step onto the bridge. Note the platform now to your left. Jump to it, then to the wall ledge on the right. Pull yourself up, then shimmy around the corner. Move through the open door and head down the hall. Checkpoint.

Collect the Shotgun Ammo, then avoid the arrows and jump to the horizontal pole. From here, jump to the wall ledge across the way, then continue to work your way left, avoiding even more arrows as you go. Once you've come to a dead end, look for the planks on the wall behind you, and jump to them. From here, head right, then jump backwards to the top of the vertical pole. Jump to solid ground and make your way down the next hall, collecting the 2 Small Medipacks along the way. Checkpoint.

Continue forward, avoiding arrows as you go. Eventually you'll reach a room with a high wooden platform and grapple point. Grapple to the structure in the middle of the room, then jump to the vertical pole to your left. From it, jump backwards to the horizontal pole, then to the wall. Climb and cross the platform (be sure to grab the Pistol Ammo), then jump to ledge above the lever. Fall onto the lever (Lever #1)), and watch as one of the doors to the main temple entrance lifts. Nice. Checkpoint.

The Second Lever

Backtrack all of the way back to the central room with the bridge and temple entrances. As you go, you'll run into a few more obstacles than you did previously, including swinging axes and a baby dinosaur. Deal with them and move on.

Back in the temple entrance room, use the ledges on the left wall to make your way to the top of the statue that is next to the middle temple entrance. From here, jump to the vertical, then to the platform directly above the middle temple entrance. Look out over the room. Above you is a grapple point. Noted. Just past it is a large gong. Target lock the ring holding up the gong and shoot. This will cause the gong to fall, breaking off more of the below bridge AND revealing a new grapple point.

Swing across the two grapple points to the alcove across the way. Inside in Lever #2. Pull it and a second door on the main temple entrance will rise. One more to go. Checkpoint.

The Third Lever



Make your way all of the way down to the pit, where you can now move both wooden platforms. Line the two up beneath the right temple entrance. When this is complete, return to the top, jump to the broken bridge, then jump across the two platforms to the right temple entrance. Enter and run forward through the hall. Checkpoint.

At the pit, jump across the arrows to the top of the vertical pole. Jump to the left wall, shimmy right, jump the arrows, drop down, shimmy right, jump to the vertical pole behind you, then to safe ground. Run to the end of the hall. Checkpoint.

Lever #3 is in front of you. Arm your weapon of choice and move toward it. As you cross, the floor will crumble and you'll fall to the bottom. Eliminate the two Wolves then climb either ramp. Locate the barred crate jammed into the wall and pull it out. Push it down to the ground, then to the stone pillar to the right. Use the crate to reach the ledge on the pillar, then jump to the one above it. Cross the vertical poles to the second stone pillar, then jump to the horizontal pole and platform. Checkpoint.

Climb the wall and shimmy right. Jump back to the hanging pole, then to the lever. This will raise the third gate on the main entrance.

The Scion



Continue to work your way around the room to the above hall. From here, jump to the room's exit and collect the Shotgun Ammo. Backtrack to the main temple entrance. Like last time, there will be a baby dinosaur along your path. Take him out. There's also one at the bottom of the pit. Eliminate him if you care to. Otherwise, leave him alone.

Once you reach the main temple entrance, jump to the broken bridge and head up the now unblocked ramp behind the middle temple door.

At the first landing, move right and make your way to the next ramp. Run up to for a cutscene, which involves acquisition of the Scion of Qualopec. Checkpoint.\

After the cutscene the temple will begin to crumble. Simply backtrack all of the way out of the temple. Don't let the music get to you. I took my sweet time and nothing fell on me. Also, don't be scared by the baby dinosaur in the vertical pole pit. Just take him out and continue your path to exit.

Once you reach the outside world you'll have to do a quick battle against Larson. Just watch the screen and hit the buttons when prompted. Doing so will result in the end of the level...and Peru.
