Main Objective - Acquire Takamoto's sword fragment

Meet Takamoto

Move to the party downstairs and speak to the bartender. He'll tell you Nishimura is in his office. With the bartender at your back, move down the hall to your left. Hit "Interact" to open the green-lit door.

After a cutscene, return to the party. Here will be another cutscene, this time with Takamoto. The scene ends by tossing you into a shoot out. Kill the men surrounding you. Shoot the central screens above, and hope they on a few enemies. If you need to take a breather and, say, fill up on health, crouch behind the bar. Once you've cleared the room, Nishimura will provide you with the elevator key.

Get to Takamoto's Building

Run around the room and collect the dropped weapons and grenades. Be sure to pick up an Assault Rifle. When you're ready, move down the hall opposite the one that leads to Nishimura's office and "Interact" with the elevator. Ride it up and exit out.

Move forward to check out the locked up bike, then move left and pass through the door. Checkpoint. Step out onto the helipad, then turn around and shoot the caged area. This will reveal a pole. Climb it, then jump to the right platform, then up to the roof. Shoot you Grapple at the shimmering skylight, then "Interact" to move the skylight. Fall through the opening, then make your way down to the aforementioned bike. Checkpoint.

Hop on the bike, then drive it through the now open glass door (if you forgot how to control your bike, go to "Options" > "Control" in your Pause menu). Ride the bike onto the roof, then make a large right U-turn and you'll find yourself in a large puddle, facing a walkway ramp. Drive straight for the ramp. The jump will be taken over by an interactive cutscene. Hit the buttons the game tells you to hit when it tells you to hit them. Checkpoint.

Get to the roof of Takamoto's Building

Jump to the bar in front of you and quickly make your way across the upper level of scaffolding (if you move slow, the scaffolding will flip on you). About half-way across you'll encounter a hanging window pane. At this point you'll be taught how to go into "free-aim" mode (on most controls it will be a click down of the right control stick). While in this mode, hit the glass pane hook and it will fall straight down. (Please note, the color of the reticle while in "free-aim tells you a lot. A red reticle tells you it's a shootable object, a blue reticle tells you your grapple can be used, a gray reticle tells you the target is out of range). Hop onto the rope and swing to the other side, then catch the zip line and ride it to the next building. Checkpoint.

Face the building and look left. Note the shimmering window cleaning platform. "Grapple" it, then "Interact" to bring it toward you. When it's a close as you can get it, release "Grapple" and make a running jump for the platform (if you're having trouble catching it, release it and wait for it to swing back before jumping). Pull yourself up to it, then jump, catch the grapple above ("Jump" button again). Reposition yourself from the hanging wire (hold "Interact"), and swing around the corner. Catch the platform here. Checkpoint.

Again, grab the window cleaning platform and jump to it. You should be able to ride it over to the next one with no problem. From here, jump forward and grapple onto the above set up lights. Reposition yourself on the hanging wire, then swing onto the open rooftop. Checkpoint.

A quick cutscene will introduce you to some new Yakuza enemies. Shoot them (or throw a grenade their way), and their dogs. Use the surrounding lamps, if you want, to take out anyone else who shows up. Collect their dropped ammo, then move through the double doors. Run up the stairs, then through the double doors down the hall. Checkpoint.

Move into the cubicle in front of you, then check out the small office area behind you and up the stairs. You'll spot a few enemies here. Kill them. When they're dead, you don't have to worry about anyone shooting you from behind as you clear out the rest of the room. Once the room is enemy free, you'll be told there's no way out. Yeah, right.

Face the large TV and shoot the two hooks holding it up. Next, grapple the large shimmering "T" in the middle of the TV screen and pull it toward you. This will cause the TV to come crashing down. Kill those behind the screen, then hop up and collect their ammo. Pass through the exit.

Face the doors and climb the pole to your right. When you're blocked from climbing any farther, jump to the structure holding up the platform, and shimmy around the corner. Jump up and pull yourself up to the platform. Face the billboard area and toss your grapple and the shimmering piece of metal. Pull it toward you and jump up to the new platform. Move across it, jump the gap, then climb the ladder. Checkpoint.

Grapple the next metal strip, pull it, and swing to the newly exposed bar. Swing to the platform, then climb the pole. Hop to the next platform, then the pipe. Climb it then hop to the horizontal bar. This will pull the next platform down. When it's in position, return to the pipe and climb it back to the top. Hop to the platform, then the next one. Checkpoint.

Climb the next pipe, then swing across the horizontal bars to the balcony. Move through the doors and into the museum area. Checkpoint. Toss a grenade at the men in front of you, then shoot the man to the right. When more men appear on the lower level, shoot down the chandelier to help you take them out. Collect their dropped items look up and right. Shoot the man (or two) up on the balcony, then pass through the open door. Checkpoint.

Turn the corner and you'll be told of a turret gun down the hall to your right. Pop into the control room to your left and hit the buttons between the monitors. This will allow you to view the security cameras. Noted. Next, "interact" with the power box next to the fire extinguisher. This will activate the sprinklers, displaying the lasers lining the halls. When your work in the control room is done, exit out and pull the large ball off its pedestal. Push it in front of you as you move down the hall. Make sure it's between you and the turret gun, as turret gun fire is nearly lethal.

Pull the ball around the corner at the end, then release it and move down the next hall. Checkpoint.. Move through the door to meet up with Takamoto. Prepare yourself, as, when the conversation ends, you'll be ambushed.

Quickly kill those shooting at you with your Automatic Rifle. When they're dead, grapple the front of the hanging dragon, pull it back, then release it so it crashes through the glass. Kill the men who appear here, then climb up to the new opening. Checkpoint. Hit the elevator button and ride it up. Here you'll face Takamoto.

Boss Fight: Takamoto

When the cutscene ends, immediately move to the outer rim of the arena and take cover behind one of the massive statues. This will protect you from the turret fire and the green magic coming from Takamoto.

Behind each of the statues is a pole. Climb it up and jump to upper level. You're now on Takamoto's plane. The turret guns can't hurt you up here, but Takamoto can. Take aim at Takamoto and shoot him with your Automatic Rifle whenever you get the opportunity. Spend the rest of your time evading his green magic by jumping over it, crouching beneath it, moving side to side, and even using the tops of the statues for cover, when positioned correctly. Personally, I suggest locking onto Takamoto and chasing him around the platform while in that locked on mode (counter clockwise worked for me). Get real comfortable hitting "jump" and "crouch" while running, and continue to shoot every time you have the chance. Also, don't go trying to be a hero and go in for an Aerial Assault, as Takamoto won't let you touch him body and will damage you greatly with his staff, if you do.

When Takamoto goes down you'll complete the level.
