Capcom's Clover Studio

Capcom recently reorganized much of its talent into an independent studio, Clover Studio. According to Gamesindustry.biz, the new studio is working on porting "Viewtiful Joe" to the PS2 as well as working on "Viewtiful Joe 2" for the GCN and PS2. In addtion, the new studio would seem to have some creative freedom to explore such games as "Okami," based on a Japanese myth of bringing light to the world. The game will have Japanese-ink drawing cel-shading. The new studio also claims big names such as "Resident Evil" creator Shinji Mikami and "Devil May Cry" director Hideki Kamiya.
