Viacom Chairman to Buyout Midway Games

Thanks to Gamesindustry.biz for reporting that Viacom chairman, Sumner Redstone, will soon own 60% of Midway games, thus officially taking it over. Redstone promises to infuse Midway with fresh talent and cash. Midway, publisher of such games as "The Suffering" and "Mortal Kombat" has been in financial dire straits of late and could really use some help. With a name like Sumner Redstone, it has to be good. Oh, except that Viacom is evil.
