PSP to Debut at $500?

The headline grabbed your attention, didn't it? Well, in yesterday's
CNN Money article, Atari CEO Bruno Bonnell thinks it may be just that expensive. However, this is balanced by EA's CEO, Larry Probst, who thinks it'll retail between $199 and $249. Industry experts think that it'll come in somewhere in between. My feeling: unless it's under $200, I won't be buying one and I'm a hard core gamer that buys everything. If the
Nintendo DS can not only launch earlier, but at a $150ish price point, it'll dominate. Sony needs to get their PSP strategy together or they may miss the boat.
