Nintendo Profits Soar

Nintendo today released it's earnings report for the first quarter. The result: net income has doubled. The increase in sales of the GameCube, coupled with additional software sales due to the larger installed base, has caused Christian Takushi, at Swissca Portfolio Management to proclaim, "Nintendo is back." I didn't think they went anywhere. Anyway, add in the fact that the Nintendo DS will launch this holiday season and that the GameBoy and GCN will still sell well and you have a good looking company.
