Kingdom Hearts GBA Game Tops Japan's Charts
Friday - November 19, 2004
GamesIndustry.biz is reporting Square-Enix's newest title,
Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories (GBA), has entered the Japanese charts at the number one spot, selling over 200,000 copies over the weekend. While the original PS2 game sold over 450,000 copies in its first week of release, the 200,000 number is nothing to shake a stick at, as GBA titles, while selling consistently, rarely fly off the shelves at release.
Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories will be released in the US on December 7th.
Kingdom Hearts II (PS2) is currently maintaining a Fall 2005 release date.
