EA Rejected by NBA

According to
this story on GamesIndustry.biz, the NBA has rejected an exclusivity deal with Electronic Arts; a deal that is thought to have been similar to the recent
NFL exclusivity deal. Part of the reason for the rejection, reportedly, is that the NBA doesn't feel that EA has dominance over the basketball video game market like they do with their "Madden" games for football. Boy, EA sure is doing a lot of deal making these days.
