Yves Guillemot, Ubisoft CEO, on EA Deal

As we reported last week, EA purchased a 20% stake in rival publisher Ubisoft. The move was seen as "hostile" by Ubisoft CEO, Yves Guillemot, as EA did not notify Ubisoft that this was to occur making it a surprise to both Ubisoft and the gaming world in general. Today, an interview with Yves Guillemot has been posted on Gamespot. He's rather miffed by the whole affair, and understandably so. Hopefully Ubisoft (one of our favorite publishers) can maintain their high level of quality and not be influenced by EA too much.
