Xbox 2 Release Date Leaked!?!

Spong.com is reporting a "world exclusive": the release date of the next generation Xbox, well, at least the time frame. In an unpublished press release from EA in regards to Need for Speed: Most Wanted, that only Spong received (fishy?), EA says that the game will ship in late 2005 for all major platforms including a, "…simultaneous ship, with the Xbox2 platform." Hmm? Yes, we all know that MS is on track to launch the Xbox 2 for Holiday 2005 but I just can't see EA being so sloppy with a press release that only one online gaming mag received. I also can't see MS being so sloppy as to let EA be so sloppy. We'll keep you updated if any confirmation takes place.
