Half-Life 2 Cleans Up At D.I.C.E. Summit

Last night the interactive entertainment industy's best creative talent and business execs gathered in Las Vegas to honor the top video games of 2004, at the 8th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards, held during the annual D.I.C.E. Summit. The winners of the awards were judged by game industry peer panels from the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences. Dominating the awards was Half-Life 2, walking away with nine, including "Game of the Year". In second place was Halo 2 which won "Console Game of the Year", in addition to three other awards. The surprise of the evening? An award for Judy Dench for her "Outstanding Character Performance, Female" for Golden Eye: Rogue Agent.
