Nintendo's Revolutionary Gamble

Nintendo president Satoru Iwata is admitting Nintendo's next generation console, the Revolution, is going to be so far beyond the realm of what gamers and developers believe a console is and should be, that Nintendo is risking the loss of nervous third-party developers.
In an interview by the overseas trade publication MCV, as reported by Kikizo Games, Iwata stated, "If the next generation platforms are going to create even more gorgeous looking games using further enhanced functionality, and if that next-gen market can still expand the games industry, I'm afraid that third-parties may not support Nintendo" .
