"187 Ride or Die" Website Goes Live

Ubisoft's first foray into the GTA genre, 187 Ride or Die, now has a website, 187game.com. As is the case with most game websites you can find news, screens, movies, character info, car info, and various other tid bits, like the plot line. In the game you'll play as an upcoming thug who must impress Dupree, the most respected street racer who rules South Central, that is until he gets some competition from the East Coast. The game will be online capable on both the Xbox and PS2. The soundtrack is being produced by Guerilla Black. The game is due out this Fall.

187 Ride or Die is an outrageous combat-racing action game that challenges players to assume the role of Buck (starring Larenz Tate), a reluctant hero who must race through the streets of Los Angeles, and battle ruthless adversaries in an intense urban setting. Equipped with an arsenal of weapons and fully loaded cars, players will team up with fierce women to conquer the Westside. The golden rule – win, by any means necessary, or die...

Developed by Ubisoft's Paris Studio, 187 Ride or Die is set to launch the PlayStation®2 and the Xbox® this Winter.
