Xbox 360 Gets November 22 Launch

Today's Microsoft press conference, held at the annual Tokyo Game Show, finally gave gamers what they've been asking for since the announcement of the Xbox 360: A release date. As Jer reported yesterday Microsoft had prepared the world for a not-so-simultaneous launch (although close), and, today, they followed through on that promise. North Americans can expect to purchase their new next-gen consoles on November 22nd (two days before Thanksgiving), Europeans on December 2nd, and Japanese on December 10th.
