"25 to Life" Delayed
Monday - September 26, 2005
Eidos Interactive has today announced a delay in the release of 25 to Life
, a game which can only be described as, "Eidos's attempt at 'GTA'". Bill Gardner, CEO of US Publishing, says of the delay, "Following the recent management change and restructure, Eidos is able to reevaluate its calendar of releases giving us the opportunity to make changes in the best interest of the business. It is in light of this review that we have decided to move the ship date for "25 to Life" from October 2005 into next year."
That Eidos management change and restructure sure has taken its toll on the company's 2005 releases, as earlier this year, when "25 to Life" was moved back from an August release to an October release
, Eidos quietly moved "Tomb Raider: Legend" and "Hitman: Blood Money" from "Holiday 2005" to "Winter 2006". At least we'll have an exciting post-holiday gaming season.
