Sam Fisher Loses it in "Splinter Cell 4"?

This week's Gamespot Rumor Control has an interesting rumor surrounding the role of Sam Fisher in the upcoming Splinter Cell 4 (Xbox 360, Xbox, PS3, PS2, Gamecube, PC). The sleuthing skills of those at The Gaming Age Forums have brought some unreleased images to light which reveal that our favorite stealth agent has quite possibly lost it and is running amok in Denver, CO, leaving innocent civilian casualties in his path.

Below is a list of the discovered unreleased images, now being hosted by Gamespot, as Ubisoft has, since, pulled them from their server. And, before you go judging Sam, remember the official site for SC4 (www.bewaresamfisher.com) reveals a drinking and driving accident which kills Sam's daughter Sarah. Some believe this has triggered Sam's path of destruction. Others believe it sets Sam up for a "frame Sam Fisher" scenario. Personally, I believe it serves to prove my theory that Sam Fisher and Jack Bauer of "24" fame are either the same person, or sewn from the same cloth. Both have their crazy moments, but, you know as well as I, no matter how crazy they seem to be, they always have a plan.
