GameSpot is today reporting new details of Konami's "Metal Gear Solid 3: The Snake Eater". According to GameSpot, Konami of Europe has released new information concerning the new close quarter combat (CQC) system that will appear in the game.
The CQC system will allow gamers to use "authentic military moves and techniques" in its hand-to-hand combat system, which will come into affect automatically when players enter a combat situation unarmed, or carrying a knife or handgun. The CQC system will also allow players to fight several enemies simultaneously. Konami has employed a "ground-breaking motion-capture system" to ensure the CQC system is implented as seamlessly as possible into the game.
