Microsoft to Acquire BioWare?

According to Gamesindustry.biz and various other internet rumor mills, Microsoft may acquire BioWare, maker of the hugely popular and wickedly awesome Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. The Canadian RPG developer is also responsible for Neverwinter Nights and Buldur's Gate. If successful, BioWare would join the ranks of Bungie and Rare, two earlier Microsoft acquisitions. Look for an announcement at E3.
