Star Wars Galaxies Expansion Announced

Thanks to 1up.com for reporting on a new expansion for the PC MMORPG "Star Wars Galaxies" entitled, "Jump to Lightspeed." The expansion will allow for interstellar travel and dogfighting in up to 15 different ships, most importantly X-Wings and TIE fighters. There will also be large transport ships where a number of players can travel together. Take the peaceful route and you should be OK, take the more dangerous route and you may have to deal with various factions and/or AI controlled ships. The expansion is due out in Fall of '04.
