According to an article at
SiliconValley.com, Microsoft's new GM of Games, Shane Kim, has promised higher quality titles while axing several projects. The replacement for the much beloved Ed Fries, Kim comes into the position with a business background. His job is to take Microsoft Games to the next level; through a growing phase to isolate those games that will make money and those that won't. Again, the Hollywood model applies, which begs the question: Will creativity suffer? We'll just have to wait and see.
