According to an article at SiliconValley.com
, Microsoft's new GM of Games, Shane Kim, has promised higher quality titles while axing several projects. The replacement for the much beloved Ed Fries, Kim comes into the position with a business background. His job is to take Microsoft Games to the next level; through a growing phase to isolate those games that will make money and those that won't. Again, the Hollywood model applies, which begs the question: Will creativity suffer? We'll just have to wait and see.
