It's Memorial Day Weekend which means BBQs, camping, and video games!!! This is the perfect weekend to say, "screw it," to all that yard work you were going to do and, instead, catch up on your video games. In an attempt to help you procrastinate here are three games that you may have missed that will make perfect long-weekend renters. So, stop by Blockbuster, get your controller ready, and let's start gaming!

The first game that I recommend is Beyond Good and Evil. Available for all three consoles, this passed-over game from Ubisoft (Splinter Cell, Prince of Persia) is a wonderfully crafted third person platformer. If you like the Zelda series you'll like this game. Perfect for kids and adults alike, "BG&E" is one of those rare games that reminds you what video games are all about: fun. The second game that you should consider is Ape Escape 2 for the PS2. This colorful, zany, and highly addictive game is based on a simple principle: catch 300 monkeys. Sounds easy, eh? Well, it's not. As you progress, though, you gain more and more tools to catch those rascally (and very cute) monkeys. If you get stuck, here is the Walkthrough.

And, finally, as my mother always says, "What's a long weekend without a little espionage?" Exactly mom. That's why I would have to recommend that you pick up a copy of James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing available for all three consoles. This latest incarnation of the popular Bond series is one of the best. This is the perfect game for either an experienced gamer or somebody who is just getting into gaming for the first time. And, if you're a Bond fan, then this one is a no-brainer. I guarantee you won't even hear your wife screaming at you to mow the lawn and take care of that tree as you will be so engrossed in the ever twisting plot and amazing graphics and game play.
