Comcast today announced it's
Games on Demand service which gives access to over 60 popular PC titles via the Comcast.net broadband service. The $14.95 per month service offers subscribers unlimited access to games such as, "Neverwinter Nights," "Rollercoaster Tycoon 2," "Unreal Tournament," and educational and family titles such as, "Clifford Learning Activities," "Risk II," and "Monopoly." In addition to the games, Comcast, which owns the recently merged
G4techTV, will offer exclusive game content from that channel to their subscribers. I can see this working for families with young kids but I don't see any advantage to a serious gamer.
