new study published in the June issue of the medical journal
Obesity Research has found a strong association between playing video games and childhood obesity. The research team, made of researchers from The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and The University Hospital of Switzerland, studied the relationship between childhood obesity and environmental and behavioral factors, with a particular focus on sedentary activities. The researchers found obesity links with television watching, paternal smoking and mother?s working outside the home, as well.
