While reading the People Pages of USA Today
(insert laugh here), there was a little article entitled, "PlayStation Plugs into Party Scene"
. The article explains how three parties were thrown at the PlayStation 2 Mansion in the Hamptons this past weekend. The first was thrown by Paris Hilton, in celebration of her new record label, Heiress Records. The second, on Saturday night, was held by Jay-Z, as he launched his S. Carter tennis shoe. Finally P. Diddy held his White Party at the Mansion on Sunday, as he promoted his non-profit Citizen Change organization, which encourages young people to vote. The only specifics of the mansion in the article are, "a posh pad where hoi polloi frolicked by the pool while the VIPs celebrated in their own enclosed area on a balcony overlooking the party." After looking up "hoi polloi" (common people), I realized I needed more. What is this mysterious PS2 mansion...and why haven't I been invited? Sadly, I Googled it, and I came up with nothing. Which leaves me to believe the rich not only have more fun, but they lie about the amount of fun they're having.
