As reported last month, ESPN and Sega's NFL 2K5, in conjunction with its new distributer, Take-Two (GTA, Max Payne) have aggressively priced the highly regarded game at $19.95. Now, according to both Gamestop and EB Games, the ship date for the game, July 20th, is a full two weeks ahead of Madden. In past years the game comes out after the Madden game. Pretty darn sneaky if you ask me. Take-Two has done a great job in placing this game in a strategic position to make a small, yet significant, dent in Madden's thick shoulder pads. There is no confirmation that the date is correct, however, I'd bet it is.
